Grandpa's Still Here

I have written a story here before. I do not believe it was published though, but anyway I am writing this story to tell all of my 26 year old step brother's ghost experiences. His name is Brandon. He currently lives in Frankfort, Illinois. My step brother and I have seen many things in my grandma's house. It's the most haunted place on the block. And she lives in historical Frankfort so there's a lot of old, creaky, and haunted houses. Here are the stories.

Brandon and his friends were down in the basement in the bar area drinking. Brandon and his friends were all talking when Stewie looked behind him quickly. Stewie claimed there was someone behind his when there clearly wasn't. At least someone would have seen. Or the person would of said "Oh it was just me sorry." so it obviously wasn't a person. I know what you're thinking, he's just drunk. He's not! No one could explain what happened.

Brandon was watching TV one night while my grandma was out somewhere. Brandon had all the lights turned off and was just sitting in the dark watching TV. He looked up the stairs and saw an orb of light floating down then float into my mother's old room. He claims sometimes that he also hears knocking on the walls all when my grandma isn't home. That's when most all the activity happens.

About 2 years ago me and my cousin Kira were yelling at each other going through the house screaming our lungs out. The parents tried to stop us but failed. Finally when we got into the kitchen a light bulb burst. Maybe it was just electrical problems. But it was weird how me and my cousin had been fighting at the time and right when we got to the kitchen it burst. After that we agreed to stop fighting. And for the record we never had any trouble with that light again, well we never had any trouble with it in the first place.

It was Christmas Eve and I was sleeping in my mom's old room. I was way too excited because it was Christmas Eve. It was 2008. All of a sudden I looked into the corner and saw a tall dense shadow figure standing. I was so scared I closed my eyes and never opened them for the rest of the night. A few months ago I asked my mom is grandpa was tall and she said he was. So that's how I knew it was grandpa.

My cousin Kira was in the loft area aka studio watching TV when she said like a dust figure came and it had a face then it disappeared. She said it had a beard. My grandma said that her 2nd husband had a beard. The studio was built for my 2nd grandpa.

I might as well say my grandpa's story. When my mom was 5 and my aunt was 3 there dad died in a car accident. My 2nd grandpa, my uncle's dad, died for cancer in an unknown year.

I hope you enjoyed me and my family's experiences. And all the experiences only happened to us grandchildren. Bye!

Hi caitlynann4, I don't blame you for not getting what I'm trying to say. Sometimes people don't understand me at all... Sorry for that. Let me try again if you don't mind. I think if it was your grandfather that burst the bulb it was because he didn't want you to fight, and he knew he could stop you by doing something wild like that. It happened in my family too. My mothers' aunt were fighting with her daughter and the two chairs in the dining room collided with a big bang into each other in front of their eyes, and they stop fighting thinking it was my mothers' deceased uncle who did it to stop them from fighting. Trix ❤

No, not either believing or comprehending. The flow of your story makes it very difficult to follow along with events. I am certain you have had occurances, just can not follow the writing here.

God Bless!

Hi caitlynann4, one thing is certain the one that made the light bulb burst definitely want to send out the message not to fight to the two of you. It seems like your grandfather wants peace in the house, and the only way he could stop you from fighting was to burst the light. Clever because it worked and stopped you in your tracks. It seems like he was a good man and still looking out for his family. Thanks for sharing. Trix ❤
