About a year ago I was at my grandfather's house (my grandma passed away in 2009), visiting my sister who lives there as well. I was in the bathroom, and in the drawer at the sink there was one of those packs of earrings you can buy at any store, you know that come with maybe 4 different pairs of studs, just cheap ones. I had lost my earrings and had no earrings in, so I took a pair of black studs from the pack and put them in my ears.
Well this past September I moved to New York, and if you've read any of my other stories on here you'll see that here, and at that grandparents' house, is where many of my experiences have occured. Shortly after I moved, one of the black stud earrings had gone missing from the pair, I could not find it anywhere.
So about a month ago, after months of the earring being missing, I decided to look again for it. I looked in my jewelry box, on my desk, in every box in my closet, on my dresser, took everything out, searched through everywhere in my room, and could not find it anywhere. Finally, I gave up on finding it, and set the solo single black stud on my desk. I live with only one other person, and he was out of town on business during this week, so I was completely home alone.
About a day or two later, at night, I went into my bedroom to get ready for bed, and I swear on the life of me... There on my desk, BOTH earrings, the pair, were sitting neatly next to each other on my desk! I literally stood there for a few minutes, staring at them, creeped out and confused. To this day I still have no explanation!
Miracles51031- Wow cool story, thanks for showing me that. It's nice to know other people have had a similar experience.
Geetha50- No, he was not there during the time I was searching for it, or when I found it, I was by myself those days (It all took place while he was gone). Also I had never mentioned to anyone that I was missing the earring.
