Now... In my past stories except for the ones about my pets, the entities I have encountered are and have been dark and creepy. This one seems different.
I just recently started a new job in a factory, and for privacy reasons I will not specify which company. This spirit is a prankster. I am not sure if it is male or female but I do know it likes to play around with me-some times when I'm working with the machines I feel random poking in my middle back and when I turn around there is no one around.
It also seems to know my name, I have heard 'mentally' "Josh turn around!" I turn and no one is there. It also has pulled a "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" I turn and it laughs. I have also seen shadows and a person in the corner of my eye and when I take a better look they are gone.
Now the reason I call it a protector is because one day I was working on a particularly old machine of ours when I felt the poke again. I chose to ignore it then I felt it again with more force this time. I whip around to see no one. I say in my head "HAHA very funny" The Spirit then yelled to me "DUCK!" I ducked as told just as a screw burst out of the machine exactly where my head had been not 5 seconds earlier. This screw came out with a force that caused it to embed itself in one of our thick boxes. This experience has caused me to believe the spirit, despite the fact it enjoys tormenting me, has grown a soft spot for me and felt it needed to warn me.
