Real Ghost Stories

My Cat Thomas

My name is Jens Wardrop I've just witnessed the ghost of my cat... Or I think I did anyway read this and tell me what you think, I'm open to anything right now.

This actually happened about 15 minutes ago. I got so freaked out that I searched up cat-ghosts and found this site.

1 year ago my cat Thomas to whom I loved a lot died. He was hit by a car. My family buried him in the front yard. Anyway I heard his meow, just a little while ago, over and over again. My other cat, Milli got up on the window and meowed back. Thinking it was a stray I went to the window to shoo it away, strays cause fights around my house a lot so I kind of had to shoo it. I saw Thomas stare back at me, I swear it was him! He ran behind some bushes and disappeared. It was dark so I didn't catch him when I ran outside.

Maybe it was so dark that I mistook him for someone else's cat. The one thing about Thomas though, was his big bushy tail; the cat I saw had the same thing. I think it was the ghost of Thomas. What do you think?

I've never heard any other ghost stories in this region of Western Australia and until now I never really believed in ghosts. I need help to find out if this is a real ghost sighting or not.

It still could have been another cat. The cat might have just looked like your cat. Since you said it was dark out.

I have always heard that animals cannot appear to us as ghosts because they have no souls. I do not believe this! If an animal loved it's owner very much then why couldn't it come back for a visit? I've lost many pets during my lifetime and none of them have ever come back to visit me. I still believe they can, though! 😊 ❤

My kitten ran away when he was 7 months old about nearly 6 months ago and he came back to visit me... I heard purring from the spot on the radiator he used to sleep on and a paper fell behind me from a flat stack of papers where he used to play when I would be on the computer... At 12 am in the morning. I believe you saw your cat... I heard animals coming back and didn't believe it until my own cat came back! X] Blessing for you and your cats may he rest in peace ❤ 😁

Cat ghosts generally come back to their original owners. So Thomas was probably visiting you.

Have you seen this cat since? Does Milli usually respond to other cats meowing outside?
Maybe it was Thomas, prowling the outside of your home. I'm sure if this cat wasn't Thomas then you will see it around your neighbourhood again and recognise it with it's bushy tail.
I hope it was him, paying you a visit. 😁
