Reccently, my friends and I went to a museum near where I live called the Galleries of Justice. It has actually been voted as one of the most haunted buildings in the UK before so we felt quite brave when we went in there alone. We were looking at one of the exhibitions and one of my friends was too scared to look through any more. She told my other friend and I that she would wait for us at the beginning of the tour and we could meet her there.
My other friend said, "We can't leave you here, William might get you!"
Now William Saville is a ghost known to haunt the Galleries of Justice. He was hanged there in 1844 for murdering and raping his family for no reason whatsoever. He can possess people and he is known as a very evil spirit there. He has thrown things at people and is an all round scary ghost. In fact, when the Most Haunted Team visited the site he was one of the most active spirits in the building.
I said to my friends, "No, don't mention him!" I was slightly scared that he would do something to us, particularly because we were the only people in that part of the museum at that time.
There was then a sudden drop in temperature and someone (or something!) whispered the word "Shhhhhh" to us! It was one of the scariest moments of my life. In fact it was so bad we all ended up running out of the building, one of my friends screaming hysterically, and with all of us vowing to never go back in there again.
The next day I discovered that I have been placed there for my work experience placement later on this year, so it will definitely be a terrifying experience.
