Jack the Ripper Tour

When I was visiting my friend in London, we decided to go on a Jack the Ripper tour. So the next morning we decided to sign up for the tour. We decided to go around 11:00 p.m. At the end some people who were on the tour were talking about the restricted area. So my friend and I thought, let's wait until everyone leaves and we'll go in the restricted area.

Finally, after everyone was gone, we went in the restricted area. We took a few pictures by the fireplace and we left. A couple of days later I flew home. After about 1 week I got the pictures developed. I looked and saw a figure of a man standing by the fire place and it was said that the room was haunted by Jack the Ripper's ghost. So I go to my house and showed my Fiance. Then we went to our friend's house. We showed him the pictures. But when we showed him the phone rang like it did in London. So he thought that was weird. He picked up the phone and there was a lady with a British accent. But she said that he called her. My Fiance and

I left.

Then the next night our television kept turning on. But the weird thing is it would turn on to shows about the tour. All of these weird things kept happening until finally my Fiance said we had to burn these pictures so we did and all of these weird things stopped.

Valkicry: You certainly are concerned about a story from 2009! I wouldn't worry about it. The fakers get overly confident and the mods catch them every time.

Yep, Ari - I think we need to ask the mods what's up with this? I can't turn up any more than I have. Weird. Very VERY weird.

Ari, I'm still poking about...
"When you delete your account, it's pretty much definitive. But here's a tip: if you create a new account with the same email address that you published stories in the past, there's a good chance these stories will get associated to your new account. It's not full proof however, and works only with stories, not comments or your old profile page." That's from the site itself. So it could be "Kate" use to be "Allison" and deleted that account, for whatever reason, and the story was 'transferred'. 😕 Stilll leaves some ummm... Questions though... Why the 0 story count? Why the multiple 'locations'? Why do I keep hearing the Twilight Zone theme? 😲

Wow!
You are better at this detective stuff than me! You detected a lot of anomalies. Now we need to draw the attention of the mods who might be able to shed some light on this.
What do you say?

Ari,
The Allison part is weird. Doesn't mention being called Allison in her profile, nor does she reply to any posts using that name or any other. I don't detect any 'hidden' messages either. More weirdness profile says she's from Illinois, the story says France, and she was touring London. 😕

I do understand thet you could become a little creeped out after visiting the places. Me and my boyfriend had nightmares after coming to the hotel that night we went with the Jack The Ripper Tour in london.

I have been in one of thouse tours and I agree with LaurenB, sound very suspicious that you name a fireplace since a Jack The Ripper Tour is not inside any building. Some of the buildings have been replaced with modern constructions. The tours are just outside and around the streets where the murders happened. The restriction area is a restriction for protection because the tours are late at night and in places in London with bad reputation.

it is strange how you burned the pictures and all the weird things stopped. The spirit must have left after that. I would like to read more of your stories.

That is a bit of a strange story and a bit too intense. I wouldn't want to sound rude but I too find it suspicious.

I'm interested to know where this "fireplace" was. I lived in London for years, and did several Jack the Ripper tours, as I find the stories morbidly fascinating. None of the tours I went on ever took you inside, as only one of Jack the Ripper's victims was found indoors; that building was torn down decades ago and the land is currently home to a parking structure.

At last check, parking structure fireplaces were a rarity at best.

I definitely wouldn't have burned those pictures if I was you. There would've been many other things to try before doing that. Sounds really suspicious.

I can't imagation anyone taking pictures and finding a ghost on them, just to turn around and burn them. Hmmmmm

I went on a Jack the Ripper tour too. We just got back, and looked through our photos and we definately caught something on film. Strangely it looks more like a man stradling a form, than a woman.

Dear Allison,

There are many reasons people set boundaries and restrictions, and it is the responsibility of those who come up against these boundaries to choose to respect them or not. Many times in ghost investigations it is best to respect both human and ghost boundaries, as when caught going beyond these boundaries there are always some type of consequence. Perhaps, your consequence was to be haunted when you returned home? Maybe your guilt got the best of you.

If photographing an area or place that is suppose to contain a ghost or haunting creates an attachment or haunting by a ghost; we would all have such attachments coming home with us each and every day where ever we go, restricted or not.

I find it somewhat suspect that you would burn the photographs, as now there is no evidence. Though, there should be negatives or copies left on your computer file? --Abby

Interesting Allison, though they never knew and still don't who Jack the ripper was. I do however find it quite interesting that you captured a ghost on film. Would really like to see that photo. I don't often hear of spirits following people home, though I am sure it probably does occur. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Peace, Love, and Luck be with you.
