Screaming Kid

This happened about 40 years ago in San Antonio, Texas. It was about 5:30 in the afternoon and my parents had gone grocery shopping, along with my brothers and sisters. I did not feel like going so I decided to stay home.

I was on the phone talking to my best friend, when this kid came in through the front door, stood in front of me and just started to scream. I dropped the phone and as I got up the kid ran outside, I tried to chase after him, I was surprised to see the screen door was latched through the inside. I was totally freaked out, I picked up the phone and told my friend Rudy what had just happened and he said he had also heard the scream through the phone. Needless to say I waited outside until my parents came home and relayed the story to them. I described the kid as maybe being about 5 to 6 years old and had Asian features.

My mother told me that on several occasions our neighbor had mentioned to her that she would see a little boy sitting on our front porch, but thought nothing of it thinking it was a relative. That was the first and last time I ever saw this kid.

My parents sold that house to my older sister about 15 years ago and she had it as a rental home but could not keep renters. She eventually sold the house to her son Charles, my nephew.

Charles must have been living there for about six months when I got a call from him asking if I would be available to help him move, I said yes, and asked him why he was moving.

He told me one night he was in bed and heard what sounded like a ball being being bounced around, he got up but saw nothing.

A couple of nights later he was awaken to someone screaming, as he stood up in bed he saw this kid standing at the foot of the bed screaming and after a few seconds just vanished into thin air.

Now when I experienced this at age 13, my sister was 18 years old and unmarried so Charles had not been born yet, and I don't recall ever mentioning what I saw 40 years ago to Charles or anyone else.

I asked Charles if he could describe this kid, he said maybe six years old and he looked Chinese or Japanese but he couldn't be sure as it all happened so fast, but there was no way he was staying in that house.

The house has been sold since then and I have been tempted to go by and ask whoever is living there if they have experienced anything out of the ordinary but I don't want to alarm or scare anyone.

Would like to hear from anyone with similar experiences.

I think you should go talk to the new owners, maybe they can find someone to help the boy move on.

who ever this is, me and my fiend are having encounters with alittle boy around 6-7 years old. Today I heard a scream outside, also I had a sleep over in my tent and 4 people said they saw a shadow of alittle boy and I saw it to ad something was in its hand. And when I was sleeping over my friends house she was asleep and I heard clearly alittle childs voice say "wake up, wake up, wake up." and there was no way she said it.

Your story is my biggest fear. Very scary. I hate when ghosts appear to me. I understand them later and wonder why I was afraid but when they first appear I am terrified. Horror movies will do that to you.

I would be very curious as to the rest of the history of this house and this property.

I do hope that someone will eventually sense or encounter this child and be able to help him cross over. How sad for a child to be trapped on this plane.

Thank you for sharing your story with us,
God Bless!

Hi chalemos. I, too, am a little skeptical only because I thought of that creepy little boy in that movie "The Grudge" like FRAWIN. If it really did happen, then I would say that the people that live in this home need to be told so this poor lost soul can be released from it's earthbound prison. Then again, they may think that you are crazy! Sometimes there are people that see and feel the paranormal happenings around them and their are some who are not receptive of it. Like the couple that now live in the Amityville house and have been there for a while. They say that they haven't heard or seen anything. They had to change the way the house looked on the outside so people wouldn't recognize it and stop pestering them about the supposed 'demon' in that house. I personally am not too sure whether all of that story about the Amityville house was or is true. The son that killed his family said that the 'demon' in the house told him to do it but he was on heavy drugs and his father was supposedly abusive. I think he went crazy from the abuse and the drugs helped him go over the edge. I think the next family was just creeped out by the whole incident and influenced by what was said about the house. Your mind can create CRAZY things! I know that was way off of your story but I had to add that opinion. =) I wonder if the little asian boy is screaming in frustration of everyone hearing his screams for help but no one is listening to helping him. ~Shelby

Hi chalemos. Have you looked into the history of the house and neighborhood? You may get some answers that way. Since all involved have experienced similar events it may be residual. If that is the case, I'm not sure anything can be done. If this poor child is crying out for attention and release, then you should speak to the new owners and see what they have had going on. If you can help the little child pass on, with the agreement of the owners or neighbors who've witnessed something, then I think you should do so. People who have seen this child in agony will be willing to help in this manor. Thanks for sharing your experiences, I hope we've helped in some way.

Hello chalemos. Thank you for sharing your story with us, it made interesting reading. However I must remain a little skeptical. Not because it isn`t believable. It is because it bears a too strong resemblance to the movie, The Grudge.

wow! That sent shivers up my spine. I agree with Huendchenh, I think you should go over to the knew owners and see if they have had any wierd feelings or heard or even seen anything strange in that house. Would'nt you of apreciated somebody coming over to tell you that your not crazy, there is something in that house? Think about it. If you investigate anything knew about the house please tell me. Thank-you, Ruby x

Very frightening! I think you SHOULD go over and talk to the new owners. If I were living with that kind of activity, I'd really appreciate someone coming over and telling me I wasn't crazy and that they'd experienced it too. Of course, they may slam the door in your face, but it's worth a shot. As for the boy: screaming is usually an indication of residual energy from a traumatic event, but the fact that he has appeared in front of two different people in different areas suggests to me that he is an earth-bound spirit, and as whitebuffalo suggested, he needs to be told to go to the Light (however corny that may sound). See if you can make it happen somehow. I may sound naive but some people are very receptive to these sorts of things, they may appreciate any help you can give (and the boy would too).

Boy, I tell you what. It is nerve wracking enough when my OWN children coming running in screaming or yelling about something, but to have a little boy that is unattached to a body come in and do the same thing would be terrifying.
What a shame you all moved out, maybe someone would have been able to release him into the Beyond.
Thank you for your story.
