Attached Entity Or No?

Ever since I can remember I've felt to be sensitive to paranormal experiences. The house I grew up in was said to be haunted I was told it was built on an Indian burial ground, not entirely sure that's true or not since I've searched the properties history online and couldn't find anything to match that.

However, I always felt an eerie presence in the house so did my sisters and mother. I remember clearly my older sister saying to me one day "hey get off me" while she's laying on the couch with her back towards me when I was sitting across the room, she claims she felt a body laying up next to her.

My mother also reported seeing shadows in the house. I used the ouija board as a kid playing around not really thinking anything of it, over the years I have had some questionable experiences happen to me.

About 7 years ago I started to hear a whispering voice I can never make out what it's saying but when this happens my legs start to get tingly like a vibrating sensation. If I lay there it will slowly move up my legs and almost like something is sitting on top of them I can move my legs though so I know it's not sleep paralysis since I've done research on that and says you are not able to move during that time.

I've read from others stories on here about a Succubus and my story is pretty similar except I have never had any sexual encounters with the entity.

Like I said before this has been going on for about 7 years now off and on. It doesn't happen very often, it's random I'm just wondering what it could be? I don't think it is a bad spirit though, it's never caused me any harm although it does still freak me out time to time.

My boyfriend brought up the idea of maybe being schizo but I was under the impression that's only hearing things not physically feeling them too? I don't know I would really appreciate some answers from someone who is more educated on this type of stuff please. Thank you

I've felt the tingling skin and saw the thing that did it. It isn't restless legs (which involves you moving your own legs) and bears no resemblance to a mental disorder. So you're in good company there. In my case she looked like a ghost but mine happened not to be nice.

I'm not exactly the most educated but I've been going through a ghost touch experience and the way I figured it out was asking it questions. Like "lean to the left" or "lean to the right". "touch my right leg for yes" "shake your head" is a good one. (you will be able to feel it)

They can hear your thoughts so just think of it as you would if talking.
I also wondered if it was something negative and realized I would have probably known by now. What I read online you can feel it's negativity.

If it's a ghost it might just be trying to get your attention.
I still have a lot of questions on my own experience so I might not be the best source of info.
Been going on for a year for me. I don't know if I'm just sensitive or lucky to experience it.

Stephanie - You don't mention whether your more recent experiences are happening in the same house you were raised in (unless I missed it somewhere). If you are experiencing paranormal activities in a different home, you are obviously very sensitive to spirits and they are aware of that. In fact you did mention that you are sensitive.

Don't even go the route of incubi or succubi - nasty things. If you were being plagued by anything like that you would know immediately 😨

Even if a spirit is not harmful it is still unpleasant to be hindered by it. A benign spirit will often give you some space if you ask it to. Perhaps try talking to it. Maybe it will listen, maybe not.

A blessing according to your belief system or a cleansing (as mentioned by Dee) is also a good idea.

Keep us updated 😊

Hi, Stephanie - perhaps you would like to check a condition called 'restless leg syndrome'.

It's always a good idea to get a medical check up to discard any health issue as the cause of your problems.

Though the fact that other members of your family have experienced something suggests that some disembodied presence might be sharing the place with you. I agree with the idea of cleansing or blessing your house according to your personal beliefs or, as CD suggests, you can use Rook's method.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Greetings Stephanie,

I highly doubt you have schizophrenia... Did you smack your boyfriend after he suggested that? 😕
My uncle's brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia (he passed away 3 years ago). It was always auditory for him. He would respond to a voice only he could hear throughout the day and he was on medication. It was a bit unnerving once in awhile when he was around, but otherwise, he was really sweet and could carry on a normal conversation too. I think the stereotype of schizophrenia scares off many people, but you know, 'Don't judge a book by its cover'. 😊

Another sign it's not schizophrenia, everyone in your house experiences/hears something. I would recommend a cleansing. A member here (Rook) has one on his profile...

It's been used by many people with great success. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to try anyway.

Keep us updated, all the best. 😊

Hi, Stephanie! I hope it is not schizophrenia. Not that I've personally experienced it, but someone pointed me towards this video:

I found it quite disturbing. Please let me know if this is similar to what you've experienced.
