This story comes from South Orange County in Southern California. I was employed by a company for about two years ago and while speaking to a fellow worker, I was implored to share her story. I have taken the liberty to translate her information to provide a better understanding on her experiences.
This Orange County location was initially built to support a local military base with logistical support but was later sold due to budget cuts. The son of the building's architect, who was only two years of age at the time, had mysteriously disappeared on the grounds shortly after construction. Overwhelmed with the incident, the boy's father, Mr. Turner, would roam the building during closing looking for his son, Sam. Rumors claim that he was so affected by the loss that he ended up loosing his practice and soon after passed in his sleep.
It now houses a local cookie company parallel to an expressway. The two people I spoke with had been employed with the current company and attest to have heard the name of the little boy being whispered through the halls of the second floor. Although no sightings have been ever witnessed, there have been several odd occurrences in which doors slam, lights flicker, and a person whimpering is heard from a stair well nearby. A former employee who goes by the name of Meche claims that she left the job due to tremendous feelings of depression since starting the job. "I would feel uneasy working the second floor after closing hours, I hated it." Meche, being a religious individual, believes that it was Mr. Turner who had returned after death to look for his boy, Sam.
This is her personal opinion on what went on during her brief employment with the company.
