I'm Lovale and I'm 13. What I'm going to tell you happened two months ago.

We were at camp and everyone spread rumours around camp saying that there was a ghost in the toilet. I wasn't much a believer myself. I mean come on a ghost in the toilet has got to be the funniest thing I have ever heard... Well that's what I thought until I actually found out if they were just making the rumour up or not.

It was around midnight and everyone was asleep. We had rules like if you need to go use to toilet you would of course need a buddy. I really needed to go and thought that if I spent any longer trying to wake a friend to go to the toilet with me I would probably wet myself!

So I got my torch and headed to the toilet without a buddy. It was pitch black and the toilet was empty except one that was locked. So I thought "Great, I don't have to be afraid of using the toilet with nobody around".

As I got in I started hearing banging on my wall coming from the toilet next to me. So I shouted "Would you please stop doing that?!" So eventually it stopped but then I heard that person trying to climb over the wall next to me. I got really scared and the hair behind my neck went up. Then after that I saw black hair up the top of the wall. I swear it felt like forever until it disappeared.

I quickly pulled up my shorts and ran out of the bathroom screaming waking up all the people at camp.

Everyone tried calming me down but of course I eventually did and told them what exactly happened. That's when all the camp workers went all quiet. Then one of them said "We should have all told you all this but... Four years ago a girl died in that exact same toilet that was always locked, then five days later people smelt something bad in that toilet but thought nothing of it until a girl looked underneath the door and screamed to see the dead girl's body lying there..."

I am glad that I left that camp the next day since I couldn't handle the story of what the man told us.

Sorry if it was long and if it was boring but I just wanted to share you all about it.

OMG OMG OMG OMG! I would be so scared I would probly pee my self as soon as I heard it banging on the wall!

Yeah I know I'm a baby but that sort of experience scares you for life!

hey maybe she got locked in there and didn't know how to get out so after that her ghost was restless and makes noises to get peoples attention 😐 😐

Lol, if you still are scared of going to the toilet alone tell your parents to come with you or something... Might I advise you that you do not go into any stray toilets alone? (u migth encounter one again but I hope you don't) haha thanks for sharing your story with us 😊

Sounds like a fun urban legend, but nothing more. Wish I had gone to camp as a kid so I could have been scared with these stories.

I would have grabed hold of her hair pulled her over the wall and slapped her. Seriously, going to the toliet is a private thing. She should have waited until you were done.

your story was definately very creepy. Even I have gone to camps before and even I have heard such similar stories. I understand what you must have gone through at that time. But you were really brave to go to the toilet alone, even after hearing the story. Anyways I liked your story a lot.

oh my gosh, that is really creepy.

What camp is this, though, because I want to be sure that I never go! Lol 😊

If I were you, I would have just woken a friend up (or the leader person) or just peed myself and change.:)
After hearing that, I DO NOT know how you did that, escpecially at night!

Camp, a dead person (of any age) on a toilet for five days without notice... I always believe that urban legends start from some where with truth. This one has gone a bit to far to the left for me.

I do appreciatte the time you took to tell us...

I think I'm going to go with Tonith on this one! It sounds a lot more like an urban legend made up to scare the dickens out of you, which it did, since it was the middle of the night and you were alone. Still, it's a creepy story. It's possible that you experienced a spirit haunting that bathroom, but I don't think someone would go missing in a toilet for five days without someone checking in there. And besides, wouldn't you see rotting legs under the stall? Very strange indeed... Thanks for sharing!

I can't imagine being in such a situation. It sends a shiver down my spine. No wonder you couldn't be calmed down by everyone in the camp. I am glad you are never going back to the camp again.

I might suggest that the next time you go to that camp, you find a nice secluded spot in the woods and do your business there. =P

The ghost wasn't going to hurt you, understand, but it was possibly trying to scare the hell out of you. Seems like it worked, eh?

WOW! Your story must have been the scaryest story I have ever read here! 😐
I have never heard of something tring to climb up a wall, and the story of the girl in the bathroom -shudders- scary! 😉
If I were you, I wouldent even be able to pull up my pants! Anyway cool story, I just want to know something. Where is that camp? Sorry if I'm boring you with my comment xD
...OH, just one more thing, how was she killed in the bathroom?...and one more thing, what is the date of when that's camp was made? Really sorry if I'm boring you 😊

That's what they all do, hide secrets from the public, then they tell the truth, much more like the government of USA hiding UFO evidence from the public.

One thing I don't get is that how did the girl die?

P.S.:To all readers, when they spread a rumor in a camp or at the army (they're always spirits everywhere, even in the army) about a ghost in this or that place,don't think about messing the spirits.

I'm having a bit of trouble with the urban legend of someone dying in a toilet stall and no one noticing until 5 days later. If someone was missing I am sure someone would be checking bathrooms because people can and do get sick and pass out in bathrooms so it would seem to me like one of the first places to look. That's why it sounds more like an urban legend to me. Camp is also a place where ghost stories are told and imaginations can run wild. All that said I'm not saying you didn't see what you thought you saw. Sounds like you may not have been the only one that happened to, over the years. Was it the dead girl? Frankly, I don't know but apparently it was something.

hey everone thanks for the nice comment 😁 I'm really, really, REALLY glad I won't be going back to that camp ever again!
It was one of the most freakiest thing that has ever happened to me. Now or then I get really scraed of going to the toliet by myslef and still am 😐

Hi Lovale- I enjoyed your story. It's kind of a freaky one though. You have to wonder how someone would die in a toilet stall, that sounds like a terrible way to go. It's sad that it took so long to find her, I guess nobody noticed she was missing. Actually, she kind of sounds like Moaning Myrtle from the Harry Potter stories. I hope she is able to move on, that's just not the kind of place you would want to spend your afterlife in!

Long? I don't think so--you included a lot of detail that helps the reader understand the old who, what, when, where, how, and why.

Boring? Not in the least!

I would be kind of freaked too if somethin was tryin to climb over. I always think that things would crawl under the wall, not over.
Naw, but I liked this story, Never heard of somethin like that
