Haunted House 2

Ah spring was finally here! It seemed to calm the house down for a little while. The same oddities were there as usual, but we ignored them.

We started school in the fall and the heaters took their toll again. It wasn't anything we weren't used too. The voices were there once in awhile, the raunchy smells were still there, the disappearing junk was still there. The back door opening still occurred there along with the door bells ringing, mostly the back one of course. We liked to ignore most of the going on occurrences there. When I look back at it I think the ignorance we had with the place irritated our ghosts that they started speaking out differently.

Mold grew on the walls. Then the mold started growing all over the place! It was on the basement walls. It was on the bedroom walls. It was anywhere it found space to grow. Our house might as well have been a green house for all the green mold on the walls!

The worst part for me was that winter. I got severely sick that did not recover the entire length of the rest of the time we lived there.

In the spring a knocking started on mom's wall. She thought it was the neighbors because the knocking would start at 4 every morning and go on for awhile and then quit. This went on for a month straight and then stopped. At the same time while she was driving to work mysterious headlights would follow her and bounce off into the sky. Maybe she was just overtired and imagined the lights. They didn't co hearse with the house. Whatever it was, was trying to gain her attention. But she thought it was the neighbors! And maybe at that point, who knows, maybe just maybe it was...

Are you ready for the final detail? It's coming up next!

Thank you Karen for your kind words. Yes I write a lot and would love to actually authorize something but I have a hard time finishing anything. I did however finish this actual story as in a statement above somewhere, but some weasel erased it off my computer. I have since wrote different articles but I have a hard time focusing on anything before finishing it. Part of my problem nowadays. Probably paranoia more then anything it will somehow be erased again. Anyway thanks once again for reminding me of my writing abilities. I appreciate it greatly. 😊

i know this is old, but...

I was going to pose the same question that another person noted, checking for poisonings from the mold or any other toxin. I am sifting through the original posts to discern whether any physical evidence was left other than eye-witness testimony of the residents who might be halucinating.

Another good installment. Reading about the headlights following your mother made me think about the people in the cars watching your house. That's weird.

It's been posted and let me tell you all that I've had a couple strange experiences while rehearsing this story! Probably why I didn't want to write it, but its done. 😕

I agree with Vox, this does seem to be more of a TV series than a story, but it is interesting

I love the comments everyone but I'm not giving away any details until I finish. I have to wait until the posting opens up again that's what's taking the time. I'll answer all the questions when I get it finished. Stay tuned!

A side note on this one: I have to write it in sections because it's too long. Besides ain't ghost stories more interesting in sequels? I think so, I'm always excitingly waiting the next chapter to see why people do what they do! Living through it though I know why they do what they do. It's easy to say one thing when you've never experienced it. Once you been through it and someone has a strange tale, it's all very obvious why it appears that the people surely didn't know what they were doing! One basic reason people don't leave their haunted houses are is simply because what entity has the right to take your home? We are living mortals, no ghost is going to chase you out of your house! Well that's one excuse anyway. Lol Now I await the rest of my posting. 😊

This story isn't passing the sniff test. Why are you doing this like a TV series?

I am awfully relieved to know your not living in that house anymore. Atleast I can read your experience in peace...:)

Definitely looking forward to hear the finale to this dark patch in your life.

Regards & Prayers,
Logan

Yep I'm trying to make this all make sense without ALL the details yet not leaving any important factors out which makes the three year staying there quite extensive but also not trying to make a book out of it. LOL I actually did write a book about it once and my last story about the crazy kid erased it off my computer. Even words being erased don't erase memories. Alright I'm onto the last section!

Ummmm, WOW! I don;t say that very often, but after reading part one and now part two, that is about the best I can come up woth at this time, except to state that I still believe to be both light and dark at work in that house with your family in the middle.

I can't wait to read part 3.

God Bless!
