I haven't had much experiences with ghost or anything supernatural wise but one encounter that separates itself from the very few is this one that happened about 6 years ago at my mom's ex-boyfriends house. It was short but it scared the hell out of me.
It was Saturday so I slept in until around 10 o'clock. My whole body including my head was underneath the covers when I woke up so I flipped off the covers and what I saw stunned me and I held my breath.
There kneeling at the foot of my bed was some girl in her late teens or early twenties looking up at me with foggy, dark, miserable eyes. She wore a tattered ripped nightgown, which was probably once white but dirty now. Her hair was drenched as if she had maybe drowned since I knew for a fact this was not some human but yet she had the form of one. She looked lost and sad.
I saw this all in the second it took me to throw the covers back over my head. I counted to ten before I reluctantly revealed myself to her once again. But she wasn't there. She was gone. Just vanished or disappeared like she wasn't there to begin with.
I collected myself and unsteadily walked across my room and to the door, but I didn't leave with out one more glance at my room to see if she was maybe hiding. I saw nothing out of the usual and proceeded out of my room.
