Real Ghost Stories

A Ouija Board Prediction - True Or False?

This story starts back to day before yesterday, my best friend Chris and I were hanging out with some of our buddies. We were all sitting around the TV being bored and trying to find something to do, so randomly Chris starts to talk about this ghost/spirit living in his closet. At first I was a real skeptic but then he said he had a way to talk to it with a pendulum, so out of natural curiosity we started to use the pendulum he had made. We started to ask it simple questions like "are you male?" etc. And the pendulum seemingly worked with yes or no questions. But I still doubted until we started to try and reword questions and the pendulum would not move at all only on those certain questions, we basically spent our entire night messing with this pendulum.

In my mind the pendulum only brought curiosity, so I started to research ways to contact spirits (Ouija, etc.) and decided to buy a board to see if it would really contact spirits. I went to Toys R' Us and bought a board and brought it back to Chris' house (I had already researched the precautions to use, while using a Ouija board.) We sat down with the board in his room with the lights turned off, a white candle, and a pure silver coin (to put on the board). I started off trying to be the medium and tried contacting a spirit but it didn't work; we had forgotten to warm up the board and we decided to step it up a notch (since it was day-time) and try using the board in his pitch black closet. So the session started in the closet and for the first time we had the planchett moved... We asked:

Question-"Is there any spirits among us that would be willing to speak with us?"

Answer-"Yes."

Question-"What is your name?"

Answer-"Bradley."

Question-"How old are you?"

Answer-"34."

Question-"What would you like to talk to us about?"

Answer-"Dea..."

I immediately stopped the planchett thinking it was a demon, and said: "Now I want to say goodbye and would like for you to say goodbye also." The planchett then moved to "goodbye".

Our first encounter was creepy we kept asking "are you moving the planchett" and the answer was always "Nah dude, I'm not, I swear." After the encounter we cleansed the planchett (I feel more comfortable when we do that) like always.

Later that day we decided to give it another go and this time a spirit that happened to be female named Gabe contacted us. Chris and I went threw the motions asking it questions about itself (the spirit announced itself as a good spirit but it could have been lying) and finally got to the question: "is there something specific you would like to talk to us about?" The letters rang out like a bullet D E A T H, I was sick of death coming up in the conversations so we went with it... We asked:

Question-"Whose death would you like to talk about?"

Answer -"Steven." (That's me)

I then left the room and left my friend to find out the rest because I was nervous at first I did not want to know these answers. Finally the curiosity got the best of me and I asked my friend what it said.

He asked:

Question-"What about Stevens's death?"

Answer-"Horrifying."

Question-"How?"

Answer-"Car Crash."

Question-"When?"

Answer-"48 years."

We went back in to the closet and shut down the board but when we asked the spirit to say goodbye it responded with "NO" so we had to close the board up without the spirits cooperation and cleansed the planchett.

This session left me with many questions:

Was it a demon? Will it come true?

Did it have other things to say?

These things are still floating around in my head and I can't figure it out;

I want it to have been a demon just screwing with me, but I guess we will never know until the day I die.

Don't be frightened. Not all spirits are truth tellers. There are a lot of those who are not nice spirits and like to lie just to frighten people. Our future is not ours to see, so take it easy and don't do stupid things like drinking and driving and hope for the best 😁

Ouija boards seem to attract spirit with a lower vibration overall. I was curious myself as a teen & it told me & my friends lots of scenarios that would play out in our lives (all negative) & not one of them came true. I personally feel like it draws you in & plays on your fear as your giving it a platform. A platform for it to play with you in any way it chooses. Our future is never set in stone. If I were you I would put it down to experience. As your curiosity should now be satisfied. Nothing good can come from using a spirit/ouija board. Hope your experience hasn't had a long lasting negative affect.Peace

Smull

I know this sounds totally insane but my advice is do not worry about it. Ultimately it could very well be wrong and simply an attempt to frighten you. Even if it is right and I hate to say this a car crash may simply be how you were meant to leave this world.

I don't know for sure so I'm not saying that for sure.
But no one knows how their time on Earth is going to come to an end. Worrying about it could speed things up and if that's what is meant to happen.

It can not be changed so do not waste the energy by dwelling on it. Live your life while you still have time. Focus on enjoying the time you do have since the future is NOT written in stone well at least not when some one is meant to pass on it's not.

If it's meant to happen then it will. But I do not see that happening. I get the feeling you will be around long after the 48 years pass.

As far as people knowing when someone will die I disagree with the poster who said that. As I predicted my grandmothers death. My father's mother that is a day before she passed which was the last time I saw her alive

Most Indians in your situation would use a Mantra Known as Mahamrityunjaya Mantra. This mantra is a prayer to Lord Shiva - a Hindu God, to protect oneself against untimely death.
You can download & chant Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, which is supposed to protect against untimely death.

The Mantra is believed to have been given by Maharishi Markandeya, who was destined to die at the age of 16 but he prayed to Lord Shiva, to protect him against an untimely death. He finally escapes death.

hMmmmMMMmM... That's interesting to read... And creepy to know lol
I don't know I should use the ouija board or not... I have been reading ouija experiences and I think I should not play with that ever. Thanks for sharing your experience. And please never ask about yourself or your future to that spirit. ❤

PlaydoughMaster - "Let me start off by saying your the smartest person I know with the board. I'm an expert with the board so I know by your story your the smartest. You did everything a good amateur should have done BUT you apparently have yourself your own demon."

Pure and simple no expert true exists using the Ouija Board. Simply because there are many option in the spirit world for thing to happen.

My opinion of this story is that its the "spirit" as no name for the demon was provided and if anyone can prove to me hence forth it was a demon of any status ill be corrected. But its the Spirit messing with your mind.

I don't care what people say about that board. What it told her happened. I have the dates and all, its not a joke. I believe firmly they work and the people that knew about it as well. What it is. I don't know. I do know the day it happened for several days while I was in the hospital and afterwards, we lived in the city limits and there were 3 owls side by side, and this is the only time they have ever been seen. We have them on video. I learned 3 owls were a sign of an omen. My friend also had a little girl, she was 3 years old. My mother ran a daycare and kept this little girl. After the accident she would come in and get a pink chair and go to the end of the fence and talk for like an hour. I finally asked her who she was talking too and she told me her mom. This was an experience I have yet to forget. I currently got married and the guy I married, his ex wife died in this house. Last year my 9 year old niece told me she saw her in my bedroom. I am terrified of seeing a ghost. He also wants to use a board and like you I printed all those safety instructions and made him read them. I am still afraid even though it says you can do it safely, I'm just not sure after that happened.

I don't want to scare you, but this happened to my best friend. I am now 34 at the time I was 15 and she was 18 and she had been playing a board with a friend. She had told me the board told her she would die at 19 in a car crash. She died at age 19 in a motor cycle wreck with myself, she died in my arms. After this happened because I didn't believe in any of this. It scared me to death, I finally told my parents what she had told me and it was almost 6 months before I would even be alone. My parents worked and I made them have someone with me at all times because that part did happen and she had also told me she would be coming back and for years that has haunted me.

Let me start off by saying your the smartest person I know with the board. I'm an expert with the board so I know by your story your the smartest. You did everything a good amateur should have done BUT you apparently have yourself your own demon. This demon confronted you from the begging and when you didn't trust it. It lied so that you would. The fact that it broke through all of your strategies tells me that its very powerful. And could most likely come after you in the future. I'm sorry. They seem to say stuff like that a lot. My old friend, Courtney, used to play with a Ouija board. And it told her she was going to die in a car crash when she was 16. It so didn't happen. They just like to screw with your mind like that. No one knows when anyone is going to die, no matter how much they might like you to think otherwise.

Definately don't believe what the Ouija says.
It could of been tricking you, just for some fun.
I'd say to get rid of the board though, and cleanse yourself and the house it was used in.
Take care

Predicting the Future...
I've been told 3 different times that something horrible would happen and I would be murdered. Scary I know.
The first was a psychic friend in high school when I was in 9th grade. She was reading palms. When she grabbed my hand to read, she got a scary aweful look like she was having visions, she walked away, stood in a corner of the wall crying and whispering
To one of my other friends. I freaked out.
I was like What?!
She claimed I had a short life line and saw me being murdered. After she saw how Scared
I was, she claimed she made a mistake and said my life line was longer, but I think
She was just saying that out of sympathy.
Same Prediction Number 2 - My great grandmother who was really into spirits, divination, rituals, ceremonies, wicca, spells, conjuring and stuff her whole life,
Did a Reading for me. She told me lots of
Things of the future that time has proven accurate. She also told me flat out, straight up she saw me being murdered.
Same Prediction number 3- my cousin and his friends were playing with the ouija. It told them I was going to be murdered. Now I did Not ask. Did not play, Never said a word.
My crazy cousin was asking inappropriate
Questions without my permission or knowledge
Until he told me what happened. This cousin
Could Not have known what my great grandmother said, because this is a cousin
On a Different side of the family. He never
Knew my great grandmother from my Fathers side.
Anyway its really creepy and I'm freaked out.
I didn't ask for any of this. The first prediction - maybe teens just trying to scare me? No she was not the type. She was always serious and not the one to pull jokes at all.
Its really creepy and crazy to hear it from your great grandmother. What am I suppose to say? Thanks Grandma?
Then the ouija with the cousins and friends.
Also creepy.
Im nervous to say the least. Always looking over my shoulder, looking out the window
Before I go outside. I don't know. What do you do with information of this nature?
All I know to do is pray and leave it to God. But here lately I have been really discouraged with prayer. I feel like my prayers are just not answered or heard.
So I stopped praying. I really need God and Jesus's Help. But how can I get it when they never answer my prayers? I feel abandoned by God because prayers are not answered. I feel drawn to get a ouija board
Even though I have not dealt with those things since I was a teenager and didn't know any better. I really didn't deal with it much then, it was mainly my cousin. When I did use it, it only spelled out a name and
Murder over and over that's it. Then Jesus appeared to my Husband and we stopped the whole thing. I was feeling since God does not answer maybe ouija will? No I should not be thinking that. That's a bad thing to say. And I'm not bad. I don't want to be bad.
I just want God and Jesus and I need my prayers answered. I need them answered badly. I have looked for Jesus to answer but still nothing and its frusterating. I need it answered Now or like Yesterday.
I need God and Jesus to Help. Where are they? I'm waiting and need them Now.

I can't believe they sell Ouija boards in Toys R' Us. Your story is really creepy and worth thinking about. I'm guessing one of your firends was messing with you or whatever you guys were talking to was trying to scare you. What I'm saying isn't helpful and I would be scared as well like you are. Have you tried to get any help?

I think that whatever it was was messing with you, be it a "spirit" or one of your friends. Demons can't tell the future. They just try to influence you. If it comes true, it's a coincidence. Just don't let it become a self-fulfilling prophecy. I wouldn't worry too much. I would also not mess around with ouija boards. They usually bring trouble.

I have heard of this before in my friend's work for one of her papers. She had to talk about a family's experience that she tried to solve on her own. She did not introduce herself to the family because they said. "We were expecting you Alexis." She said she felt like the whole family were demons. But I think towards the last 2 years of the 48 year mark, you should try to watch out for bad things. Like maybe an interstate with bad traffic from a car crash, etc. Something tells me, that this ghost couldn't have been bad at first, but I think it could have been a warning. Best bet you have, is to go do it again. I know it sounds stupid, but something else tells me it could have been a demon. Most demons either talk about death's, killing, hatred, how they were killed, and stuff like that. Do not know if this wil help you at all. But best bet is, get a cross and if you can, holy water. This can offer more protection from the demonic spirits or bad ghosts.

honestly I don't think its anything to worry about. Weather it was a joke or not its something your going to have to deal with. If you die in a car crash than that's that. Now you just have a heads up:P

Hello,
In my opinion, there is no reason to fear Ouija boards or dub them as "bad news", as long as you do not act on things they tell you, believe all that they say, or invite anything evil into your home. I love speaking to spirits through Ouija boards and have been for quite some time. I am not going to stop, reguardless of peoples' opinions. You shouldnt either if you enjoy it. Take care!

Dear Smullinks,

I'm very glad that you don't worship demons. All I'm saying is just be careful. These beings are supernatural. Which means to me that they are super in strength and super in intelligence thereby making them dangerous.

Oli, I can honestly tell you that I would reather have them sell them like they do instead of not selling them and having people make their own. Those ones are a lot worse then pre bought ones.

Hey smulliniks! Don't fret it. Plus all of these people saying that you are going against God need to realize that not everyone shares your religion. Your god may not be his god. My personal deity is Eris. His could be something different. Anyways, I don't use Ouija boards, I use Tarot cards instead, for that precise reason. I'd rather have vague interpretations than spot on stuff any day! 😆 Also, it's good to see that you are being careful and cleansing the board and stuff like that. Good luck!

For the people out there that commented that I am going against God, I am not seeking advice from these spirits and I deffinitly do not worship them. I am juss curious about these beings I do not trust them or believe all they say. And with the information that was fed to me by the board I have decided not to take to seriously because why would the being come looking specifically for me, why would it try to instill fear and worry in me, the only explanation is that it was a demon trying to screw with my head. Really I'm not going to fret over it because the way I look at it is if I die, I die. There is nothing that can be done about it, God (yes I believe in God) decides when I die, I know this. And I repeat my self I am just curious about these other realms I do not worship them or try necromancy or any of that crap...

I personally don't know to much about the board. I bought one and I don't even know why I did. Because I always felt weird about them and when my kids where younger I didn't have one in the house. I bought it just a couple of months after moving into this house? 😕 It's never been opened. I see ghost or spirits allll the time, I sense things from them I sometimes even know their names etc. I once was told that I was going to die when I was 33yrs old, not by a ghost but by someone I loved very much I was only 10yrs old at the time I was distraught over it until I was around 32yrs old. Only God knows when we will actually die, God has given me a special gift but I gurantee that he has'nt given anyone a gift to tell others when or where they will die. We should all live like today will be are last. Don't fret only God knows he has the book and no one else that I know of, has permission to peek in at his book. I hope I helped you there are things in this world that I don't understand and seem extremely strange, We as humans make mistakes and do things that we don't even know what provoked us to do. We just need to learn from the mistakes that we make and try and be good to others. You know what, who ever answered the questions from the board knows that it has scared you and its probably is laughing. I do not think that the spirit came out of the board I believe it was already there and that's why it said no to leaveing. I say keep faith in God he will be the one to comfort you. Need to ask me anything? I don't know everything but I do know somethings.
