My Cat Kari

This happened just last night, and I don't know how to explain it. So I have a cat named Kari (pronounced CAR-ee) and sometimes she likes to play in the bathtub. (I don't know why, she just does.) So here is what happened.

Last night I was reading some books, and I had to go to the bathroom. So I went into my bathroom, and while I was on the toilet, I heard some scratching next to me in the bathtub... The same scratching sounds Kari makes when she plays in there. When I was done doing my business (but before I had washed my hands), the scratching sounds were still there. I decided to try and scare Kari, so I quietly grabbed the shower curtain waited a few seconds. Then I quickly whipped back the shower curtain and said,"Gotcha!" But there was nothing there. AT ALL. Kari wasn't in there.

I just stood there, staring at the empty bathtub. I ran out of the bathroom, looked around and found Kari sleeping on the couch. "What's wrong?" My mom asked, seeing the confused look on my face. "Ummm...Well, I just heard Kari in tub, but when I pulled back the curtain, she wasn't there..." I said, staring at Kari. "Well, I don't know what to tell you." My mom said. My mom is a sceptic and doesn't believe in ghosts or other dimensions or anything.

So I really don't know what happened. If you have any ideas, then PLEASE put it in your comments. If this helps, I am one of those people who believes that cats can travel through different dimensions and back into ours. So, again, if you have ideas on what happened, PLEASE PUT IT IN YOUR COMMENTS. Thanks! -bumblebee55

You know, I sorta experienced something like that with my cat Laila. Maybe its just me, but sometimes even though I could have sworn I put her outside my room and closed the door
With her right in front of me, but when I turn around, she's sitting on my bed! I'm telling you, cats are not your average creatures.

Two words for you: Playful Ghost.

Definitely not evil though otherwise Kari would of been hissing and going crazy and scratching the air and kinking her back up like a black cat and hissing alot

Well it sort of means that when a strong energy like playfulness is around the behavior is somehow copied. Check out the story 'Can a Living Person Create a Ghost?' it will make a bit more sense. You can see it from this link. If it doesn't copy this web address. Http://www.yourghoststories.com/real-ghost-story.php?story=208

Hey book_luver123, I was just reading some of the old comments on my story and the first comment, by book_luver123 said the scratching could be an imprint of the area, so I was wondering... What do you mean an "imprint"? 😕

Yup, Kari IS having fun! And it would be cool to read cat's minds - then we would know what the heck they're doing! 😁

It'd be nice if we could read cats' minds. Then this could be easily solved. My cat Chuck used to sit in the bathtub all the time. He's an outside cat now. My lil sis tried to cut his ear... Well, I hope you can figure this out, and I hope your kitty is having fun! Haha 😁

God bless 😊

Awesomerific-
No, I don't remember the name of the book, because I read it like, two years ago...sorry. By the way, Kari is running around the house and meowing like in my last comment as I'm typing.

Nope, no mice in the walls. But I thought I might include this in my comment-
About half an hour ago, I was watching TV and Kari was sitting next to me, sleeping. But then, just all of a sudden, she wakes up and startes looking around like when I'm playing with her, as if she was watching something moving even though there was nothing there. And then she jumps off the couch and acts like she had pounced on something, then startes rolling around on the floor and running around the house- It was weird. 😕

I agree that it could be mice in the walls. There are some in the walls in my house that seem to enjoy scratching around the tub in my bathroom. It sounds just like it's coming from inside the tub. I think they wait to start scratching until a time when I'm least expecting it just so they can freak me out. 😢 I just think you should check for mice first. It could be any of the other suggestions, too. You never know. Do you remember the name of the book where you read the cat... Dimension... Thingy? You know what I mean! I'd like to read it, too! Enough typing for now.

God Bless 😁

Do you think it's possible that mouses can be in the wall, simply, and scratch from the other side of the bathtub? I had this kind of trouble once... And my cats (I have 2) like to follow the sound... In the walls.

Ya sure you can. Thats a good way. And maybe the dead cat will also try to eat it or do something about those cat treats. Try putting something else like milk or something, and leave it overnight and see what happens?

Biemaster-
Instead of picking up Kari and taking her to the tub (Kari squirms when picked up and she's heavy) do you think I could put some cat treats in the tub?

Oh, that's a very big thing! Guess that was your dead cat scratching and Kari likes to play with your dead cat. Next time, take Kari and go to the bathtub with a camera or video camera and try capturing the spirit. Best of luck and keep us posted!

By the way-
I think cats can travel through different dimensions because I read it in some books. And I believe it. So don't judge me.

Biemaster-
Yes, I did have a cat that had to be put down because she had cancer, and she did like to play in the tub as Kari does... Also, sometimes I see my dead cat sitting in the tub out of the corner of my eye, but when I look she's gone...

Hey bumblebee55, great story. I agree with everyone here, maybe an old cat died there in your house, and it's spirit is still there. Maybe your cat Kari likes playing with the cat. Have you seen anything else unusual that can prove there's something in your house? Why don't you try putting Kari in the bathtub and watch if Kari does some reaction or meows or something unusual. Best of luck and keep us posted!

Probably just something under your house.
P.S. Why do you think cats can travel to different dimensions? (no offense)

Yes, I agree, there could have been another cat there, that had died, and it might have been playing with your cat. So that's probably the reason why your cat does that a lot, its nothing to be scared of though, its kind of cute:)

this can also be an idea of what happened: the reason your cat plays in the bathtub (which you said you don't know) could be because it is playing with another cat that used to play in this bathtub in the house while it was still alive. Also, if there is a ghost cat in your house, some of its feelings may have imprinted on your cat, such as playfulness and such, making it feel like being playful and wanting to go and play on the bathtub. I have witnessed feelings imprint on others from ghosts before.

hey stuffedanimal321 the cat was sleeping on the couch.

I have heard the cats traveling through dimensions before, would explain a lot about the furball I used to own. But I agree with book_luver123 on it being an imprint

wooooooooooow you think cats can travel through dimensions? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! But I think the cat could have just been scratching the wall and you heard it from the tub. 😕

Yes Hopeful23 has said exactly what I was thinking. But because of Kari scratching I think it could be an imprint in that area of her behavior. It does happen. ❤

Could it possibly be another cat doing this? Such as one you had in the past that died. If so, it might just be your old cat doing what Kari does to get attention. For now I really have no other suggestions as to what it was. Good luck.
