When I was 14 I lived in Pennsylvania. We lived in a ranch house in a small development, where all of the nieghbors knew each other and were friends. We lived on a hill, so our neighbours weren't very close to us. Our front door opened into our living room. We would hear loud stomps walking up our front porch then stopping at the door all the time. It wasn't every once in a while, it was ALL THE TIME. We would look out the window and open the front door and no one was there. Sometimes there would be tiny knocks on the window and no one was there.
One day I was home alone and sitting on the couch in the living room reading. I heard the stomps and waited for a while to hear if anything would happen next. Then I heard whistling, right next to the window. It didn't really have a tune. I looked out the window and no one was there then it stopped. I called my mom in a panic telling her I had heard someone outside, but she didn't believe me, and hung up. About a half hour later, I heard the stomps then the whistling.
I told some of my neighbours about it and one told me that about 50 years ago, someone was stabbed on our front porch. I think these sounds have something to do with that story. Also, why would it be making all those sounds? Are they trying to get our attention?
Thanks for reading and please give me some answers.
But, whenever that happens, don't answer the door if no one is out there. It's not a good sign. I've been dealing with ghosts my whole life, and I know not to answer the door. Do whatever you like about the situation. Just don't do anything that you wouldn't do infront of your grandmother.
