Hi Hagi, I'm a fellow Muslim, from London, England. I must profess that it is always a joy to read your posts, sometimes I read fellow site members slating you off and feel that you are trying your best to help, and make people understand your point of view. I feel you are a very sincere brother, and you are a credit to this awesome site. I love this site and feel a connection with all the members. Anyway, my main point is the Jinn, when non-muslims hear the word jinn, one of two things eneter their mind; Sinbad or Aladdin movies! In the west their is a romaticised view of the jinn, but what we fail to understand is that the jinn is very real indeed! You can caall them by any name, satan, devil, spirits, demon, bulzebub, incubus - all are correct in one way or another. And sorry, I also feel aliens also fall into this category also. I am a strong believer of there being life in other worlds, i.e, aliens existing, but some visittions on earth by them I would equate with the jinn. In fact Islam expalins this, from what I kniw there are three types of jinns, and one of them flies through the air! So strange lights could well in fact be them. Remember, jinns are experts at misleading people. I am also fascinated by the bermuda triangle, and I have a theory that this place may infact be some sort of portal, or a door to another dimension, or a path way to the kingdom of the otherworldly beings! I remember a teaching from islam, wherin it is mentioned that the throne of Iblis, who is the original father of the jinns, the fallen one who was cast oyut of paradise by god - he's throne is situated over the sea! I.e, his kingdom - and my belief is that the bermuda triangle may in fact be he's location!? Only God in his infinite wisdom knows thr truth! But I have always been fascinated by this subjest of the jinn/ spirits. I would love to say so much more, but Hagi, could you please tell me of how you first had the encounter with the jinn, and why do you think they are so visisble/ drawn to you? Bro, you are like a well full of info on the jinn, and I would love to hear your detailed encounters! Thanks a lot. Take care.

elvisrockin,
You must forgive me, it is 2 am and I need to go to sleep for work tomorrow. I will write this very fast. It is a huge topic.
There are a few states people go through when they die. It is quite a bit of detail but I'll try to keep it short. Also, I am not sure how authentic some of this information is, but it should give you a pretty good idea of what's to come as far as I believe. If you really care for all the details I can find that out for you, but it will take a long time. The main states are here though, but again the details could be wrong as I have not confirmed any of the sources and the last time I studied this was about 5 years ago.
When you first die you're soul is in your body and angels come to take it out. Forcefully and very painfully if needed. Any pain after death is a purification of sins still left over from life. For bad people, whose souls are afraid to come out, their souls come out as if you are pulling a thorn bush out from wet wool wrapped around it, major purification, but still much to come... For good people it pores out easily, although it too is hesitant to come out.
After that, two angels, come and ask you three questions: Who is your Lord? What is your religion? And what do you think of the man Muhammad? They ask very directly and in a frightful way.
After this you are put in a coffin of quality based upon how good a person you were (how good you answered the 3 questions? The angels may also have this info about you ahead of time) and taken up to the 2nd Heaven (I believe). If you were a good person than your spot in paradise may be shown to you and the angels fight over carrying your coffin, but if you were bad than you are rejected to enter into the higher Heavens and are quickly taken back and beaten by angels on the way down. After going up in the coffin you are returned to Earth where you can still hear what is going on the outside, i.e. Your family members morning you and burying you.
If you are buried the ground squeezes you and you from every side (If you were cremated I don't know, you probably feel the burning). If you were a good person than your good deeds such as giving charity will protect you from one side of the earth squeezing you, and praying to God will protect you from another side, and so on. Then a person will come and visit you. If you were a good person this person is very pleasant and smells very nice, these are you good deeds to keep you company. But if you were a bad person it is someone that is very ugly and smells bad. So the only thing you take in the grave with you is your deeds.
Now if you had some sins left over from the world you are purified inside the grave by all kinds of different punishments depending on what your sins were. If you don't have any sins that need to be purified I believe you go to a buffer waiting zone where you wait for the Day of Judgement with other people.
If you have sins than you continue to have them purified, via pain until they are all gone.
If you have not been purified by the time of the Day of Judgement than you will suffer on this very long day too (thousands and thousands of years). If you are not purified by the end of the time than you may go to hell where you will be purified there. If you were good then on the Day of Judgement, also known as the Day of Rising because everyone is standing the whole time, you will have shade, otherwise you will be sweating. You don't have the freedom to walk around that day, you are standing there watching the events. It is said the poor, will enter paradise first since they had a harder life.
During the Day of Judgement everyone is tried, even the animals who go first than turn into dust. If you did an atoms weight of good you will see it there and if you did an atoms weight of bad you will see it there. It is up to God if he will enter you into Paradise or go to Hell. Each nation is tried and asked questions. God judges any disputes people had in their life. If anyone wronged you in life you will see them, and if you wronged anyone than they will get their rights back from you.
There are all kinds of details on the Day of Judgement and certain things that will take place. God is the Most Merciful, the Most Beneficent, it is said that he will be so merciful on that day that even the Devil himself will think he is going to heaven, but he is not.
Moving on, there are different levels of Paradise and different levels of Hell. God is sever in punishment and has no problem filling hell with wrong doers. God, also hates to put in a believer into hell even more than a mother would hate to throw her baby into a fire. The last person into heaven after being purified in the hell fire, yes even some believer will go to hell first, will have the land equal to the size of ten Earths. Once you get into the higher levels of Heaven you start measuring the land in light years. Many people will never leave hell. God will take hands full of people out of hell and put them in Heaven and even create people on the Day of Judgement to fill heaven with people, since it is so grand.
An animal will be brought out and slaughtered than it will be said that this animal was Death. This means that those in Hell cannot die and they will feel great regret since they will have to suffer the great pain they are in now forever. And the people in Heaven will feel great joy because their great environment and favor from God will also never end for them.
The people of paradise will be able to see those in hell and say things like, "See did I not warn you of this day?"... Consider this my warning.
Coming back to the topic. It is said that in Paradise humans will be more like jinn, i.e. The invisible ones and jinn will be the ones visible to us. So although they have the creepy factor on us in this life, we may have the more fun factor on them in Heaven.

Hi Hagi, thanks for putting some light on the jinn subject, it is very interesting. I must say I will understand the meaning of your comments on stories much more from now on. I would like to know how do they get born and what happens to them when they die I don't understand that part yet, and how can they benefit from your food what do they do with your food? Is that where pray before you eat comes in? How do you feel its presence? Sorry for all the questions. Trix.

I am glad you guys have enjoyed the descriptions of jinn. I will post my detailed stories up one by one as time goes by.
Darkness,
That is a great question. As I was writing this it made me think quite deeply.
I don't think they visit me too much more than anyone else. I do tend to see them more, but all people get these bad dreams and here some evil whispers in their head from time to time. Just look at all the stories on this website, many people experience this stuff to a worse degree than me.
I think a couple of the times were due to special circumstances which I'll explain in detail in my stories I'll post up, but most of the times I have seen them were when I was in bed.
I might be lucky (or unlucky depending how you look at it) since I have seen them more than most others. That may be because I know their signs and where to look and most importantly, I am not afraid to look at them. It is like a 98% chance that if I don't say my protective prayers they will come to me that night, for sure. That is alarming when I tell it to my friends, because that is not normal. I don't need to test it because every night I forget my prayers it happens, test enough. I really think they are just having fun and not out to harm me physically. They want to say this to their friends, "I gave Hagi the worst dream last night, he tried to grab me again but couldn't. Look at me I am the best dream giver!" And I think that is funny, they get so much fun out of this activity.
I have seen them most of the time in bed. I am a pretty light sleeper and I can wake up easier than most. I also can sense when they are giving me a bad dream. I feel them there, something very close to you. I only got the presence of pure evil one time, other than that it is more an uncomfortable feeling than anything. Also, when in a dream my mind feels very cloudy and heavy, like the feeling you get when you are very sleepy with heavy eyelids and a mushy brain. Like that but much deeper and heavier. The dream is usually something ugly and doesn't make much logical sense too. When I try and wake up out of it they sometimes put me in and out of different visions as I try to wake up. Like I'll wake up look around the room, then see nothings there and go back to sleep. But then the same things start happening and I realize that me waking up and looking around was just another vision they gave and I never woke up. Then I really wake up, turn over in bed, and go back to sleep. I find if I turn over my mind feels much more at ease afterwards. The tiredness goes away.
I may also see them more because I have a hyperactive mind and can jump between different thoughts and conclusions rapidly. It could be somehow that I can activate my mind more than most people so when the jinns put me in this dream state I am more alert than others and can make better judgments to what is happening to me (WAKE UP AND GRAB THAT JINN IF YOU CAN!)
Lastly, I'll mention this. Some people, can see these sorts of things all the time. They are usually very pious people or psychics. I am far from being a saint or psychic but I do try to avoid as many sins as I can and keep my heart pure.

zzsgranny,
Yes, unfortunately some of my comments were misunderstood and taken the wrong way when I was trying to help and offer my opinion. Some might find certain aspects of jinn to be different from what they believe, that is fine. But it is easy to see that there are many more similarities than differences.
Of course every person with faith believes their faith is the "true faith". I actually didn't just mean Islam when I said this, but I also meant to say any person that truly believes in God too. Many times jinn seem to have very little intellect, they seem very stubborn and close minded and cannot see the obvious big picture. They also show a lack of will to pursue their victims after the victim stands firm to their beliefs (be it of any faith) and fights back, i.e. With house cleansing via priests or directly confronting them jinn go away, at least physically. These jinn may just simply get bored, give up, move on to their next victim or can even be killed by other jinn for failing their evil task. Of course I believe that the best defense of jinn is to be a good Muslim, but that doesn't mean we are safe from all their activity either. Even God tested Jesus by sending the Devil to tempt Jesus in the dessert for 40 days as said in the Bible. The Devil in Islam is a jinn and Jesus is a Prophet. So this goes hand in hand with what Muslims believe about how devils try to tempt mankind.
Yes, jinn outnumber humans. They were actually put on Earth before us. They also have the ability to leave Earth and travel throughout the universe, that makes it really easy to have a bigger population wouldn't you say? They can reach all the way to the end of this Universe which is known as the first Heaven/Universe out of 7. Here they try to listen on future events by listening to conversations of Angels inside the 2nd Heaven. They then come back and share this, usually full of half truth, information with soothe-sayers. These jinn can also be what a lot of UFO sitings are.
The reason I said Christians call Jesus God is simple. Most Christians, save a few sects like the Unitarians, say God is three in one, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son here is Jesus, so they are calling Jesus God when they say this. And by worshiping Jesus they are acting as if he is God. Lord and God are also synonyms, they mean the same thing in the Hebrew Bible, English, and all languages so I don't see any difference in calling Jesus God or Lord if you are worshiping both in the same ways (praying to them both, asking them both for help, etc.). The Christian difference between the words Lord and God was not important to what I was saying. What I was trying to say here was to ask God, alone, for help since Christians may pray to Jesus for help, rather than to God. Catholics may invoke some Arch Angels or Saints, Buddhist Buddha, etc... A devil jinn would not mind this so much; I can see how this may be its goal actually, to ascribe partners to God and mislead man from worshiping God alone. So if a person asks God then they are remembering and praying to God which is what the devil jinn can't stand, they hate this. And better than that by asking God for help, He will also surely help you. God is the Most Giving, everything is easy for God and He will surely help and guide you if you ask Him.
Jinn are not a big part of Islam, we barely ever discuss them and they barely ever come up as a topic. So let's not get into a discussion on religions though and try to keep it more on what jinn are and do.

hagi: Thank you very much for your detailed outlook and explanation for these beings it was very interesting.

hagi: I'm so glad you decided to post this account, as some of your comments seem to have been causing a lot of contoversy...It's always good to hear and learn about about other beliefs...
I have a couple of questions for you... First by the "true faith" are you refering to the Islamic faith?...I think that's what followers of Islam believe, and though there are quite a few who will differ with you, it is your belief...
Second, the jinn actually outnumber humans?...That's more than 7 billion of these boogers running around our world then?...No wonder they're so hard to get rid of! 😊...
That's it for the questions, but there's just one point I'd like to clear up, before anybody blasts you for it: Christians don't worship Jesus as "God", they refer to him as "Lord", like you would a prince, the son of a king...
Also, one of these days I WILL get to visit the Winchester House!...It sounds fascinating!
Again, thank you for posting a very interesting and enlightening account. 😊
