let me deduce it. Your work is on the bais of your belief and you have presented it beautifully by mixing it up with the incidents which changed your way of thinking to a certain extent if i'm not wrong.
In Torcher 1, a demon, maybe an incubus tormented everyone who came to stay in the quarter. He ultimately torched it to kill the inmates. You were destined to visit that quarter next year on that very day, in a way you were willing to go there. With sudden twist of fate you found yourself confronting a similar situation like all other victims. The demon came for you and attacked you but his efforts went in vain when the puppet master, God himself, who does all the talking by deciding every events in past, present and future, as rightly said by the priest in kamakhya templ, sends the mystique Agni who's name means fire to the rescue. A dog, in some cultures is often regarded as a creature who is bestowed with the capability to fight evil forces trying to harm it's owner. So, in the judgement day, Agni is the torcher who devours the sinful demon.
In the process, justice is done to Suhasini and the other victims and that's why later-on she shows herself to you only to thank you since certain steps of yours were responsible for the justice served. It taught you to have faith and high opinion of the puppet master and become a dog lover.

I absolutely loved reading both of these narratives. You have a wonderful style of writing and it was refreshing to read both accounts.
I would have thought it was a dream as well. But to have the dog show up on the back porch? And from 6 kilometers away? Having never been to the home previously? I am a crazy dog lover, and that is the type of thing a dog would do. Mysterious as it was, it makes perfect sense to me. And since it is pretty much agreed that animals do have a better nose for the paranormal, I see no reason not to believe he showed up to protect and defend you. It's what they do. Me? I am happy to hear you finally got past your dislike of that beautiful beast and realized what he was about. 15 years is an almost unheard of age for a dog that size. However, we had a Great Dane that lived to the age of 12 years, so it isn't impossible.
The tragedy of those deaths and the appearance of the burnt man do seem hopelessly entwined. I am also certain your dog was fated to be with your family in order to be there on that fateful night.

A lot of stuffs keep me occupied in my life and sometimes a person inevitably deals with server issues but somehow I did come back only to reply to your queries... Let me make it clear to you, actually I referred to it briefly that I felt like the whole state of affairs was just a bad dream after I woke up next day, I mean each and everything I percieved the night before seemed a bit unreal in the morning. So before freshening up or anything else the first thing that came to my mind was to call up rishi and co. And tell them to comeback as the dare game was suppose to be over by then. I took the reciever of the telephone and was about to dial the numbers and it was only that jiffy when I saw something out there in the verandah, it was Agni, I noticed him in the verandah, roaming about which left me baffled... Your next question, I don't know who it is, absolutely no idea regarding the guy... It wasn't satyajeet for sure since, if you read the narrative properly it has been mentioned clearly that he too was incinerated in the blaze.Secondly, Satyajeet was only a sane human and not an incubus of some sort or even a mere organism who could keep mooing like a goddam buffalo and vanish like an apparition. The thing is i'm still don't have answers as to the fact of being who that was or why did he kill suhasini and tried to attack me. The last paragraph I said it, I have many questions in mind that will remain like a conundrum. Lastly, I was sure as hell it was agni... Because my eyes were pretty healthy during those days and I was not at all suffering from prosopagnosia and stuffs like that. A tibetan mastiff is not like a normal indian street dog. It is actually a rare breed ma'am...so I assure you it was agni, my dog. In case you haven't read the stories in the right manner I suggest you to read them again if you like to and clarify your doubts

Bluerose19-Just because someone doesn't answer your question when you think they should, doesn't mean the story isn't true. This one does strikes me as having a bit of grandeur about it, but just because you don't get your question answered, doesn't mean it's automatically fake.

Indrajit: Though I can see you were here but you did not reply my querries! 😐...Hope you know that its a thing followed in here that considering your story as true (as you claimed), you must be having their answers with you. I am actually really surprised when I did not get any response for my questions regarding your story! 😲 Remember, more you try escaping the questions, more the people will doubt the authenticity of your story.Well,and I was genuinely interested and waiting for your answers!

Yep I wrote it little bit in a fantastical manner but everything what I said is a cent percent reality and it's up to you to decide what you think about it but by far my senses of reckoning have made me believe exactly the things I have written. I have tried to indicate fore ordination of all aspects in this sphere of existence stand by it.

This story strikes me as fiction. I may be wrong, but the author has not posted any comments on either his first story or any other stories. The tone of the story and the very content and plot point to that conclusion for me. Granted, it is well written, and the author would do well to write stories on websites meant to host fiction, but this is not the right place for it.

Hello Indrajit, I am from Assam. Loved both your stories, they were extremely interesting. But I have a few questions that weren't made clear in your account-

1.) After the fateful night of your 'daring',you said you found yourself on bed, and it was morning 8 o'clock.Then you decided to call up Rishi, and then you saw Agni there. The account seemed incomplete at this point.

The night before, you had blacked out, and lost your senses in the backyard. And until by the time you were on bed the next morning, if you still haven't been in contact with Rishi (and his other friends), when you said "I woke up to 'find' myself lying on the bed",who brought you to bed...?

2.) Who do you think that half-burned entity was?...From the account, it appears most probably he was suhasini's husband. But why did he attack you and why was he making that mooing sound?...I mean to ask what do you 'think' who that half-burned man was, and why did he attack you...?...

3.) Because later on you yourself had mentioned that---"I knew that my father kept him shackled every night and moreover I was 6 kilometers away from home so there was no way he could come here."...

So the dog that saved your life that night was Agni, or some other dog?...

Would love to know about these points which have actually puzzled me...Nevertheless,Thank you very much for sharing such a touching experience with us here. And I am really happy knowing that both you and Rishi are now doing well in your lives. Stay Blessed!

I LOVED your story mate! Quite frankly its hard to believe...! I love your narration. I could actually visualize everything...! After going through both the Torcher stories I am convinced that it was a demon, an entity that never physically lived. My reasoning is that Ghosts, no matter how powerful they are, have strong connections with their life they once lived. It also limits their activity. Which is not there in this case.
You have survived through fear and dangers that were beyond our imagination and comprehensions...! Once again, a fantastic story and thanks a lot for sharing it with us...! God bless my friend!
