Sush never IMPLIED you did not believe your brother either... She was asking about your former step father...

How old were you and your brothers? The nose bleed may have been accidental... And he did not want to tell your step father that... OR perhaps there was enough teen...pre-teen 'angist' and negitive emotions running high that what was experienced was 'Poltergiest' activity... Not an actual spirit but an 'outburst' of psychokenisis that caused both events (your brothers bloody nose and the door slamming open and closed).

Oh and for the record, at least in my book, Building Contractor qualifies as a 'normal job'.

I actually never implied I didn't believe my brother, maybe you need to re-read what I wrote?

I didn't feel obligated to help my step father for multiple reasons:

1. His buisness was actually bankrupting my family and he refused to get a normal job no matter how much my Mother begged.

2. As a retired drill sargent and an alcoholic, he could become unusually cruel to not just me, but beat the hell out of my Mother.

He eventually got a horrible, painful form of cancer and died. It was a relief fot everyone involved. I never visited his grave site after that. It's been at least 20 years.

TL;DR - I hated my step dad, I didn't care for him enough for him to be concerned for him.

Hello DongMaster! It is as odd as it was scary. You let your step father alone to handle the situation. Even when he was dying you remain skeptic. When you interpret the entire incident rationally then why don't you not helped your father when you think it was not the act of ghost and why did you share it here? 🤔
