So you definitiely positive it is a moonstone. Tell me what you have observed since obtaining this stone.

As with the other stories, I really do not believe this one... And not because I disbelieve such things can occur, but because these stories just have the air of fraud about them.
If you could, just tell us the address of this home, or the fire department next to it, so those interested could go see the area or look it up online (they could talk to the firemen who claimed to have seen the evil flames and maybe they remembered you asking them about it).
The more proof you have of an event, the more others will lean in favour of believing your story.
Like I always say, I come to this sight for true ghost stories... Big or small, but I really do believe this seems like a made up story (something a kid would tell at a camp fire).
Since so many seem to feel along those lines, perhaps your next story might have more details people can actually look up and see.

"This brother that was blocked? In THIS story you do not say, but is HE the Shaman that you introduced in the latter part of the first part of this tale?"
Yes
"The amulet that this being was trying to snatch from you. Any clue as to WHY?"
No
"The power is WITHIN, and NOT in the stone. The stone shows "properties" of... But the POWER comes from the holder.
WHY would this being WANT a stone?"
The stone amplifies my power as well as stores more similar to a battery. It was also blessed as a protection against evil.
My best guess would be that without the stone I would not have had the protection I needed.

It is white, I use moonstones a lot to store and amplify my power. I use other stones as well not all of them crystals but moonstones and I seem to work best together.

At least your giving me the benefit of the doubt and are open minded about it being true. You arent just rejecting my experience out of hand because it is not like everyone elses.

Forgive me, I do not read through other comments first. WHO wants a carbon copy thought?

Amber, I am truly sorry that the scepticism of some of the readers have dampend your desire to post your experiences. Please understand I am not saying that they are wrong and I am not saying that you did not experience this. I am saying that no one other than you and your brother were present in your retelling of this experience so "Judge not lest ye be judged" comes to mind. I have read all of the comments and both sides make valid arguments BUT you and your brother are the only ones who can say yes it did or no it didn't happen.
As to how a house next to a fire station can burn down, that's easy to explain, if the department has responded to another call then there will be no one there to see the house burning until it's too late. I don't know if this is the case but it is a possibility 😊. I read all of the experiences with an open mind, if you wish to talk about the other experiences you have had please feel free to get my e-mail address from my profile and I will be more than happy to help/talk with you about any and all of them 😊. God bless.

Was that Utah Skinwalker Ranch the place you told the story about? I want to find information regarding the house, the history, anything I can find.
I would like to further discuss this with you in depth if you'll have it. You can contact me at NGMatrix (at) msn (.) com and we can discuss this further at your convenience. If not, so be it.

"Have you ever watched the movie Poltergeist? You seriously sound with the second half of your story like you're copying that movie."
Yes I have seen the movie and it has no bearing on my story and from what I remember it is very different from my story.
November 1st is officially Day of the Dead.
I know that. I was there on Oct 31 AND Nov 1, I walked into the house about midnight. That's the way we planned it.
The blessings are all general blessings for protection. "may the Holy Spirit guide and protect you in your mission." for example by being so generic it doesn't matter the religion behind the blessing.
"I still don't see how you really did anything that would be counted as "saving" anyone or anything with your actions."
I don't know how I saved any one either, nothing thanked me for saving them but for setting them free, maybe the spirit had to stand up to whatever was in the house and she did that by saving me I don't know.
"I don't think anyone here has a problem with you posting your stories, but try to think about it from a outsider's perspective."
I do that's why I made the comment I did I have been through several incidents similar to this one but I don't want to deal with all the disbelief and negativity over each one.
"If it sounds like a movie so many people have seen... Wouldn't that give you pause in believing that story?"
Having been through what I have no it wouldnt. I have seen too much to disbelieve.
"Please don't take this as me being mean, I just have a very factual mind."
Too factual/sceptical of a mind closes the doors to so much in life.
"I'd like to know how to reach any plane other than the one we're in and the Astral plane."
There is much information online and in books about this try starting here,
Www.lobsangrampa.org
"Have there been other occurrences?"
There are many many stories about the house I have not been able to verify most of them but I have been able to verify that there were some bodies found in the house. One or two a year and never finding any hint of who did it.
"I'd love to see this house. If it's not standing any more, at least the grounds it was once on."
The house burned down in 1997. This itself is odd because the house was next to the fire station yet no one saw the fire until it was too late. Some of the firemen also said they saw women of fire dancing in the flames.
"Have you researched this location online?"
I have.
"Someone would have to know something about it."
I spoke to several people who had various experiences two of which were similar to mine.
"Check to find out if the house was built over a burial ground of some sort."
That is unknown I have looked and looked and there are no official records of a burial in that area but there are rumors of it being an Indian Burial ground or other Holy site.
"I'm not trying to patronize you, but I'd like very precise details so I can do my research."
What type of details? If you have been reading all the posts I believe I have repeated most of this information several times.
"I don't think it's fair that anyone (let alone myself) should be questioning your word without finding information for themselves on the location itself."
I agree, as well as research on anything else I have said they want to question.
"If you have any links or anything I'd love to take a look for myself and I may recant everything I've said. Please understand where we're coming from and know we're interested in your stories. Don't be shy because one story makes so many people skeptical."
There are a couple of sites who are starting to record Utahs ghostly history but they arent very exstensive yet but heres a good one, Utah Skinwalker Ranch. Its not the skepticism I am shy of it is the negativity and outright disbelief, the constant repeated " your a lier there is no way this could have happened." I would simply like the benifit of the doubt considering since this story was posted then the moderators must have believed it since they make such a big deal of Only posting True stories.

that is the explanation I got from my brother on what happened to him. I do not know exactly what happened to him but he has never lied to me and I can't imagine he would just stand and watch the fight.
He didn't even make it into the house he said he was stopped at the backdoor.

I was given the moonstone by my greatgrandmother, the one in my otheer stories. It was given too me simply because it is my birthstone.
I did my own research on stones and discovered moonstones work like batteries for storing power. Moonstones store power very well whether it is good or bad, I just happen to use it to store good power.

I am not saying that I don't believe you about your story. It just seems a little far fetched is all. I try to keep an open mind despite what everyone else says. But honestly... Have you ever watched the movie Poltergeist? You seriously sound with the second half of your story like you're copying that movie.
November 1st is officially Day of the Dead.
I understand the idea of the religions being similar at their core. And I can give you that much. But if it was blessed (for example) by Christians (according to the Bible) "thou shall have no Gods before me or after me" (I didn't have my Bible handy, so I know this isn't the exact wording) so would that not negate any other blessings? And I apologize to anyone who takes offense to my Christian comment, it was not meant as a stab, I couldn't figure out any other way to word my question.
I still don't see how you really did anything that would be counted as "saving" anyone or anything with your actions. You didn't fight back much, there was no epic battle of good and evil... Seems like whoever that was that came to save you saved you rather than you saving "her".
I don't think anyone here has a problem with you posting your stories, but try to think about it from a outsider's perspective. If it sounds like a movie so many people have seen... Wouldn't that give you pause in believing that story? I think (again) the first part of your story was believable and quite eerie. The second part just really says to me "reminiscent of Poltergeist". Please don't take this as me being mean, I just have a very factual mind.
I'd like to know how to reach any plane other than the one we're in and the Astral plane. I understand there could be (and probably are) other realms, but why would a spirit choose to manifest itself to you (and not your brother) or anyone else who has gone in there? Have there been other occurrences? I'd love to see this house. If it's not standing any more, at least the grounds it was once on. Have you researched this location online? An event the caliber you're talking would have to have had another event at some time. Or residual energy. Something to back the story, right? Someone would have to know something about it. Check to find out if the house was built over a burial ground of some sort. I'm not trying to patronize you, but I'd like very precise details so I can do my research. I hate feeling like I'm just being mean to someone for no reason. I don't know you from anyone, and I don't think it's fair that anyone (let alone myself) should be questioning your word without finding information for themselves on the location itself. If you have any links or anything I'd love to take a look for myself and I may recant everything I've said. Please understand where we're coming from and know we're interested in your stories. I am always looking to obtain higher knowledge, so please enlighten me. I hate being left in the dark.

"I'm not too keen on Shamanism, but I have a few observations: It doesn't strike you as odd that a "professional shaman" got stuck behind a door and couldn't escape and render aid?"
I only have my brothers word this is what happened, but I believe him.
"For people who are as adept as you claim your brother and yourself are, neither of you seemed to really know what you were doing when you got there. I'd question your credentials, but it's none of my business."
I was not as well trained as then as I am now, I was only 18 and up until that time did not truly believe anything could hurt me. The full arrogance of the newly adult.
Were you wearing this "amulet" the first time you went into this house?"
No I was not, I kept it in a special box on my altar.
"And wouldn't the different religious blessings kind of counter each other? I'm no professional, so I'd like to know for my own purposes."
No because deep down all religions are fundamentally the same or at least complimentary as long as they are of the same path.
I don't see how you getting grabbed by the vines and some woman coming out of nowhere to save you merits you "saving" anyone or anything. Comes across to me as you were at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people."
My thought would be that I started the fight that helped set things right. I don't fully understand what was meant but sometimes one never does.
"I am giving you the benefit of the doubt about this story, but to be honest I really feel like you've watched the Poltergeist movies one too many times (or read the books). It's also very reminiscent of a few other stories I've seen in the movies. Take it for what it is... An amature's perspective of a story that comes across utterly cliched. I'm not trying to be mean, I just have a VERY hard time believing this story as anything more than that: a story."
Whatever you choose is your right I am personally getting tired of defending myself so unless there is something meaningfull in the post, something more than just disbelief and negativity I will no longer be responding to them.

"Just why was it that you were compelled to as you so colorfully stated in a comment on the previous half of your story, "PLAY" with an evil spirit? Are you daft or just arrogant? There's never a good reason to "PLAY" with evil spirits (which you should know as a 'professional') unless you're looking for trouble, which is exactly what you supposedly found. Wish granted, I guess."
It is very hard to explain it to others but something draws me to these types of places like a magnet draws iron. Daft Arrogant I have been called both, crazy? That too maybe its all of the above and maybe its a higher power working through me to take care of things others are too afraid to deal with or too dense to believe in.

ominous I truly don't care if anyone believes it or not I know the truth and that's all that matters.
No matter how many times you beat someone over the head with a fish if all they want to see is a rabbit then they will only see a rabbit.
It has proven to me that my Sis was right I can't post the truly interesting stuff that has happened to me or others. I can only post the "normal" run of the mill encounters otherwise there's too much crap and negativity.

I have to go with the others and say this seems to be made up. It just doesn't sound real... More like a bad show on TV or something.
I cannot apologize for my belief since I come here to read about true events and this one just has no feel whatsoever as to being true.
If I am wrong, then I guess I am missing out on the average Hollywood scene.

"In the first story, the dog is referred to as both he and she so I'm confused as to the gender of Blackjack."
A simple keyboard malfunction, until I replaced it some of the keys didn't always work in particular the s a w and d.
"Also, in the first story, it says that you went back the next night to do battle, yet in the second story, it says that you went back a week later. When was it that you went back, a day or a week later?"
It was a week later. I intended to go back the next night but life made it difficult. I am sorry I didn't make that clearer.

"You're right about spirits being particularly active and troublesome on that night, except which day are you speaking of? October 31st? Because November 1st is All Hallow's Eve."
All Hallows Eve does not always fall on the same day, it comes on the fall equinox, and I am talking of Oct 31st. The day of The Dead, However you want to word it.
"There are many strong sensitives that I know both in person and on this site, and the level of violence and activity in your story sounds far overkilled in comparison to their stories."
Maybe they just haven't run into the same types of things I have or else they don't want to share it if they have because they don't want all the negative crap like I have gotten.
"If you don't mind me asking, how old are you and your brother?"
I am 29 until june, I was 18 at the time of the incident. He is 39 until August, he was 28 at the time of the incident."
"What professional training have you received? I'm not being scrutinizing or anything, I'm just curious as to what brands you "professionals." "
I have been taught about spirits and laying them to rest and magic and other things since I was 5 years old. I have studied everything and studied with several teachers both of this world and of others.
"Also, the Amityville story is a hoax."
According to one group, according to others it was not a hoax, the recanting of the story was forced upon them.
"Also, the Astral Planes may be reached through quiet meditation and entering a "between" sleep and awakeness realm; not in the heat of battling evil ghosts. I may not be a professional but I do my research."
Their are many planes of existence. I used Astral planes as one example, people give them many names heaven, hell, hades, valhalla, and others.

I'm not too keen on Shamanism, but I have a few observations: It doesn't strike you as odd that a "professional shaman" got stuck behind a door and couldn't escape and render aid? For people who are as adept as you claim your brother and yourself are, neither of you seemed to really know what you were doing when you got there. I'd question your credentials, but it's none of my business.
Were you wearing this "amulet" the first time you went into this house? And wouldn't the different religious blessings kind of counter each other? I'm no professional, so I'd like to know for my own purposes.
I don't see how you getting grabbed by the vines and some woman coming out of nowhere to save you merits you "saving" anyone or anything. Comes across to me as you were at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people.
I am giving you the benefit of the doubt about this story, but to be honest I really feel like you've watched the Poltergeist movies one too many times (or read the books). It's also very reminiscent of a few other stories I've seen in the movies. Take it for what it is... An amature's perspective of a story that comes across utterly cliched. I'm not trying to be mean, I just have a VERY hard time believing this story as anything more than that: a story.

ominousnyxx, I am in 100% agreement. It sounds like the movie Poltergeist.
Also, I agree on wondering what the time frame is. Did you go back the next day or the next week? You seem very detail-oriented in your stories which is great, but I mean...that's kind of an important detail to get mixed up.
Just why was it that you were compelled to go back and, as you so colorfully stated in a comment on the previous half of your story, "PLAY" with an evil spirit? Are you daft or just arrogant? There's never a good reason to "PLAY" with evil spirits (which you should know as a 'professional') unless you're looking for trouble, which is exactly what you supposedly found. Wish granted, I guess.
Blessings,
DA

What the hell? O_O"
This reminds me of the movie "Poltergiest" with the T.V show "Charmed".
"Evil wind that blows, which may form below, no longer may you dwell - Death takes you with this spell" KA-BOOOSSSH! 😆
Seriously... I do not expect anyone to believe this event had actually occured, your first story was believable but this just ruined it.

Well if this is real than I must say that I am very jealous! 😉 I would have gone back in a heart beat to be honest. Actually, I think I have changed my mind, I believe you. The story may sound like its made up, but its not impossible. I never like to walk away from anything paranormal either, so I don't blame you from going back.

it sounds like a very very interesting story, but I highly doubt it happened to you. I'm sorry but I have to agree with some other people that that sounds like something out of a movie. If it happened to you, then it happened to you. Very interesting story though. And good luck with everything.

Hello again,
I will relent what I said on the comment about spirits drawing energy from you. It's also possible that the spirit could have drawn energy from your brother, who was afraid for your safety at the time, or from the land itself, etc. Given that...
You're right about spirits being particularly active and troublesome on that night, except which day are you speaking of? October 31st? Because November 1st is All Hallow's Eve.
There are many strong sensitives that I know both in person and on this site, and the level of violence and activity in your story sounds far overkilled in comparison to their stories.
If you don't mind me asking, how old are you and your brother? What professional training have you received? I'm not being scrutinizing or anything, I'm just curious as to what brands you "professionals."
Also, the Amityville story is a hoax. Weber, DeFeo's lawyer, specifically came on a radio show and stated that he and the Lutz's concocted the story for their own ends. Weber wanted to get DeFeo an insanity pardon and Lutz wanted to get out of a mortgage crisis. I hardly think that's a basis for evidence.
Also, the Astral Planes may be reached through quiet meditation and entering a "between" sleep and awakeness realm; not in the heat of battling evil ghosts. I may not be a professional but I do my research.
Blessings,
DA

You are entitled to your belief. I don't care if I am believed or not, I know many of the things I have experienced are hard to believe if you have never been through something like it.
I tend to go into many situations most people would avoid, or never return to if they had been there before but I cant, I am called to these situations to solve them.
Thank you for the compliment on my writing.

Devious
I will answer everything as best I can.
First of all how many really strong sensitives do you know? I know at least 5 who have had similar experiences to mine. One of them my Grandfather.
"I have a few reasons why I don't believe this."
"Spirits draw energy from those around them in order to manifest."
Not all of them. They can draw energy from anywhere. Some spirits can draw energy from, heat, pain, hatred, or from anything else. The land itself can store energy that spirits can use.
"Needless to say, it would take a maelstrom of energy to drag you across the floor and throw you around, so therefore, you would be so incredibly exhausted during this confrontation that you probably would have passed out."
Only if it was me the spirit was drawing energy from.
"Do you even know the actual origins of Halloween?"
Yes I know very well what All Hallows Eve is about and it is a night when ALL spirits are free to roam the earth and have more power than at any other time. Do you understand the reasons behind some All Hallows Eve traditions such as the dressing up and wearing of masks? It was originaly done to scare Evil spirits away. Same with carving pumpkins.
"The fact that you knowingly went back to a place where you had previously been attacked by a spirit, without a team and without a professional, was incredibly stupid."
I did go back with a Professional Shaman and Ghost Layer, my brother. The spirit locked him out of the house. I also am a Professional Ghost Layer.
"If there were evil spirits, they would feed off of fear, and if you really weren't showing any fear, this manifestation would have ceased to be."
I answered this earlier, they can feed off more than fear.
"I find it excrutiatingly hard to believe that someone could experience any of these things and be brave enough to smile, laugh, and fight back like you. You're either very brave, very careless, or a liar."
Its a combination of brave and careless. I was afraid I admit that. Ny additude is a defensive response, the worse things get the smarter I get. It does tend to get me in trouble.
Before you make a judgment call of making me a liar maybe you should do a tiny bit of research there are many many many people who have had experiences like mine. Ammittyville for one place to start. Take a peek into Native American religion for one. There are many spirits who cause harm or kill people.
"I would recommend staying away from spirit-infested places in case you don't get so lucky as to be helped by a benevolent spirit."
I can't I am drawn to these places to help those there who need it or encourage those who refuse to leave to move on.
"Before you would be sucked into this strange red mist which would ultimately have no effect on you because you're a living person and you cannot be drawn into the spirit world unless you're dead."
Do you know nothing of Portals to Alternate worlds/demensions, also known as Astral planes? There are many Planes other than the one we exist on and travel between them is possible and not all of them have nice things in them.

I gave some info on this question in story 1.
The house was built for a man and his 2 children not long after they moved in the baby died of small pox, about a year later the other child was killed in an accident. The mother hung herself from the chandelier in the dining room and the dad killed himself in the bathroom.
There have also been a couple of homless people found dead in the house.
Those sre the only things I could verify. There are many many more rumors I can't verify.

Um...I second hobbyholly. This sounds too much like a movie and completely unlike anything any sensitive, no matter how strong, has ever spoken of.
I have a few reasons why I don't believe this.
1. Spirits draw energy from those around them in order to manifest. It takes a lot of energy to appear to someone, and it takes even more energy for a spirit to make you feel touch and sound, let alone an intelligent voice. Needless to say, it would take a maelstrom of energy to drag you across the floor and throw you around, so therefore, you would be so incredibly exhausted during this confrontation that you probably would have passed out.
2. You put emphasis on the fact that it was a terrible experience because it was on Halloween. Do you even know the actual origins of Halloween? It's a celebration of the harvest and the passing of the season toward winter, or the Yule. It is a time to remember the ancestors and pay homage to them. It's not a time of evil and terrible things. That's all commercialized crap they put on TV and books to scare people.
3. The fact that you knowingly went back to a place where you had previously been attacked by a spirit, without a team and without a professional, was incredibly stupid. If there were evil spirits, they would feed off of fear, and if you really weren't showing any fear, this manifestation would have ceased to be.
4. Furthermore, I find it excrutiatingly hard to believe that someone could experience any of these things and be brave enough to smile, laugh, and fight back like you. You're either very brave, very careless, or a liar.
If your story really is true, which I sincerely doubt, then good for you. I would recommend staying away from spirit-infested places in case you don't get so lucky as to be helped by a benevolent spirit--who would have also drained your energy to manifest, might I add--before you would be sucked into this strange red mist which would ultimately have no effect on you because you're a living person and you cannot be drawn into the spirit world unless you're dead.
Overall, I give this movie a C-rating.
Blessings,
DA

Surya: I did read the first part. I even left a question comment to get a better understanding.
The thing is, this second part is soooo different from the first story. The first part, while I found it hard to believe, could have happened. BUT this... This just reminds me of a movie.
I'm sorry for the babble and long comment

I have to admit I did not read the first part to this story. Having read part 2, I won't deny the images in my mind, I could not help but think of a movie and see the funny side of it, although it must have been very scary for you.

My first question is always, "What's the place's back story?" I suppose it's the part of me that majored in history--I have an insatiable curiosity concerning cause and effect--i.e., if there was something in this abandoned house that created the phenomena you describe.
Of course, the baby crying grabbed me as well, as did the apparently ancient plumbing. As a child, I lived in a house (still standing, BTW, only now converted to apartments) with an old toilet such as you describe on the enclosed back porch. It still worked, too (this was circa 1962, and the house was then probably about 70 or 80 years old).
I wonder just WHAT went on there?

"As it went it took the spirit with it. He wrapped a hand around my ankle dragging me towards the closet with him. I knew if I touched that glowing floor I would be lost forever."
"As I left the house the ivy around the back door briefly gripped my arms and throat and I heard a woman's voice whisper "thank you we are finally free" then the vines let go and I walked away without looking back."
Just my opinion. Please try not to take offense. Although I understand if you do...
This is all very GRAND. It almost sounds like a movie. Maybe it did happen to you... I think most likely not.
