Ok, this is a little unrelated, but I feel since WB is a mod, and the rest of you are long time users, I should bring this up, more so to get information out to other mods and whomever. Has anyone noticed how the comments these days on some stories seem like a way of posting their own stories, without going through the verification process?
I've given examples of my own experiences, but I've followed it up with advice, and even the example was used to exchange similar accounts for different possibilities.
Just asking if anyone had been wondering about this. 😊

Anyway, I'll definitely be sending WB some extra scizzortails, and crows, as this does seem a result of good vibes. Especially the crows. I definitely have a few I could spare. 😆

Granny, never would have thought of that, but you may have hit on something. Maybe our furry and feathered friends are sending our messages of love, prayers, positive energy and strength that way too. Wow. That's really cool.

Yeah, It got pretty bad. I stepped away for awhile and just read, and believe you me it got bad. Every thing was a demon or an incubus/succubus and if it wasn't a 'church' solution it wouldn't work... Sorry, I'll climb down off MY soap box now (this is not the place to vent)...

I came back because of a dream and it seems as if that dream was a 'klaxon call' seeing as WB needed help.

Please don't read to much into that, it was just a dream that made me think about the site so I dropped in for a check. Or perhaps there was more to it, let me check my journal.

Autumn: Just a random thought here, but: The animals, could they ALL be carrying the good vibes that we Loonies are sending your way?...My random thought is, some of us love Cats (BJJ, Miracles, Cosmo), some of us love dogs (Aussie, Karigan, me, DARKNESS), some of us love birds (me, FRAWIN, possibly others)...Do you see where I'm headed?...We all talk to our animals as we would our best friends, our confidants... They are the only ones who truely know our hearts...

Trust me, I've been around that soapbox a time or two with other forums. Eventually we, the mods, got tired of some people and gave them their own board. Either that, or we encrypted our boards to the max.
I'm sorry to hear that this site took a turn for the worse. Lately, however, it does seem that its gotten better. I've been reading these stories for a while, and recently decided to join, mostly to sort out experiences I've had. Especially now, with the certain "Lady Gaga" issue. (Still need to submit that... 😳)

And thank you for the welcome! I'm happy to help anyone in need, seeing as how I have such a long break before college starts, and nothing to do, except for all of the art pieces I've seemed to finish and accumulate out of boredom. 😆

Shinigami0, it had gotten really bad. Lots of juvenile crap going on (in both age and mentality). I'm only speaking for myself here, but am welcoming the rest of the LBC to chime in if they feel inclined! I was only a reader for a long time, didn't participate until this year as a matter of fact. But within the last 6-8 months I, as well as the rest of us, watched what once was a great source of education and sometimes entertainment 😆 quickly start heading down the toilet.

I honestly quit reading the stories until just recently. Thank goodness most of the Loonies didn't give up on the site. Through them I realized there are still a lot of "true" people here with real stories they need to share. Not those who are just wasting everyone's time.

Okay, I'm off my soapbox now! But I, for one, welcome you and am glad you answered WB's call. Thank you.

Ergh, so how bad did the site get? I'm a new member, but from what I saw before I joined, it seemed like there were a lot of arguments on certain subjects.
Its nice that we're able to provide an example to others, though, about how to provide a helping hand. Hopefully WB will be able to get a helping floatie soon. (Sorry, reference to Rookdygin's comment about swimmers 😜 😊)

THIS is what this site is for. I think I can safely say that some of us were getting a bit worried when the site seemed to be heading in a somewhat different direction.

What I'm 'feeling/seeing' is less like a Dam and more like an area of a river bend where the current flows into the 'corner', swirls around creating a 'loop, eddy, back flow'... Dropping any sand/sediment or other debris (creating a 'sandbar' before eventually rejoining the main flow. If the river flows strongly this situation can cause swimmers or boaters to get 'stuck' and or sucked down.

If this theory is applied to 'energy' then this particular 'eddy' had allowed energy to build up and the 'influx' that attached itself to WB allowed the 'bank to be breached' and it all flowed towards her and hers instead of slowly working it's way back into the 'flow'... If this is the case then any wards/protections/shields were overwhelmed by simply the amount of energy that is now flowing towards the Household.

Anyway, I'll keep on looking for answers. Long live the Loonies!

Rookdygin seemed to have hit a bullseye on something. It actually makes a lot of sense for a flowing water source to carry energy, maybe recycling it through those who are spriritually sensitive, if that makes sense. If so, then this energy may stay for a while, but eventually carry on through the Lay Lines. Perhaps tense emotions (regarding the weirdness and past emotions) are making whatever negative energy that was currently flowing stop, like how debri stops the flow of a stream.

Less to do with the 'story' that started this, but seemingly may be more connected than previously, if ever, thought of...

You sent me the 'map' picture of your homes location... Did you realize you live by a very natural 'eddy'? Follow me here... Energy flows and like water it can and often does, follow certain patterns. Think Lay Lines...

The Stream (River/Large Creek) near (very near) Is a great example and if you look it has a large bend that forms a place where the water can slow down, swirl around, deposit things before continuing on it's Journey.

I 'feel' that energy is doing the same thing and your Family being 'open /aware /sensitive' to the other side see's and feels this 'eddy influence' more than your neighbors. If the energy is positive then good feelings pervade, if neutral they may go unnoticed and if negative then negative feelings pervade.

Lets now look at the current situation... A Large piece of negative energy has 'come home' with you. If the natural 'eddy' already had negative energy swirling in it then what 'followed' you home provided a conduit so that the 'eddy' emptied towards your household. That being the path of least resistance (seems simple I know, but sometimes simple is the answer) This large amount of negative energy is overwhelming your normal shields and defenses and therefore things keep happening. I hope that makes sense. More as I keep pushing forward seeking answers.

Our "shut down" or our decision to "go (ing) full Native here and doing a clean sweep on all fronts" (as was pointed out earlier) has been put on a short hold as to the atmospheric pressure around here.
We have a guest in our house (purely live, this one is, People) who is a Non-believer. THAT in itself seems to have caused a few issues... Perhaps I will share them as well, as I feel they are directly associated with what WE have encountered (our family was away for an entire weekend, and our Non-believing guest had NUMEROUS oddities happen while in our house). I am not all that sure though, and do not want to make this experience seem more... Problematic than what it already IS.
I could be wrong. It could be totally NONrelated. Could merely be an uber strange coincidence...
I just think it is SO unfair that we HUMANS have to wait on certain conditions, and the Others have no such Guidelines. <pouting and pretending to be aggrivated> No fair!

I also want to thank you for coming forward and "admitting" your personal involvement 😊. Unless someone straight up tells me I can, I will never divulge my sources. 😉

And you are right, in your "read between the lines" way of writing. This situation is more than just at my house. This has been "felt" ALL over the place as it appears to be "reaching out". Friends and acquaintances from different sites have e-mailed, or messaged saying things like "Guess what just happened to me that made me think of you?" The majority of these communications would never have happened BEFORE this experience. It IS "rippling out".
And I truly do not understand it.
What I AM thankful, and eternally grateful for, is that Creator placed in our lives a few select people. With those relationships, we were able to gain more. These seemingly unlinked, unrelated friendships have become our... Oh, WHAT did you call it? Oh, Our "validation of love and support". I can not tell you when I last felt that, and in an all consuming way. NOW it hits me every so often, and I just KNOW.
Some of my research team, support group, and fellow experiencers in this experience will probably never step up. And that is OK. The fact that FOUR, oh wait... FIVE of you have already claimed your personal involvements, from ALL OVER the world... That means SO much to us, as that means this is REAL. This is REALLY happening.
And you know? ALL these people CAME to assist us, quite literally, as you know. People we did not even KNOW. We had never met them before, but there was a "pull" that they just could not ignore. THAT was also validation.
I do not know WHY, and I can not explain much of this, but OUR part in this is getting a mite clearer, the more people that get involved.

I think your birdie friends are rubbing off on me. I went for a walk, and not only did the mass of crows stay where they usually were, but I also had a high amount of scizzortails, morning doves, and robins around. A tiny one even followed me by hopping and fluttering around.

Hmmm. You know ME, Rook. I went in search of the meaning of the Goat. I did this for several reasons. One is that I THINK I know what a goat represents, the other is, I could be wrong.

Truth be told. I should say that sums up the life of Dan pretty well. Even down to the devil occasionally appearing. Again, you KNOW me, the "devil" does NOT mean what some others call Satan, but "demons", both personal and Spiritual.
But while I was looking into DAN'S animals, I stumbled across some information that would pertain to ME. It would SEEM (I jumped around the net. I visited MANY a site, but did not document. For that I apologize.) What I found, through the research of each, individual bird that showed up, there are a few "common" characteristics. THOSE common things are Majic, messengers, strength, and protectiveness.
I do not know if this is going to post the way it SHOULD, but uh... I just e-mailed you an aerial view.

Yeah, I'm having similar thoughts about what we're learning from her house, and I would also like to see a map. This is really interesting.

Also, as I'm having a weird experience with animals in my situation right now, I understand what you meant. I've noticed that when things get weird, my dogs congregate towards me, and the crows arive in multitudes.

Rookdygin's theory on the birds and cats, I like it. Nature herself is trying to whittle this thing down to more manageable proportions.
And, Shinigami0's description of dealing with the emotion, I couldn't agree more. I'm pretty sure still that it will come down to a one-on-one, but Shinigami has given a solid battle plan.

I went back and read the other posts AFTER I posted my last one. I'd love to see a map and or drawing of how the homes and streets relate to each other. The more WB posts about her home and the things happening in and about the place has me wondering...

WB, may I continue to 'look into' things. Anything you can add would be helpful, or we can leave things as they are as the energy seems to be draining off, albeit slowly, but it is draining off.

You mentioned your house had 5 renters? I have no clue how we're having similar experiences, but I guess the world is big and there are a lot of coincidences.
Anyway, my friend lives in a house that was rented for some time, then became a non-rented house. Lets just say there were shinanigans that went down that we just don't talk about. 😨
When she moved in, she stripped the walls down to paint, and found the word "hell". The renters, as well as the owners, all wanted to leave as soon as possible, without any explanation. Did you ever have anything interacting in the house that may be feeding off of this incident?

I don't mean to offend anyone, but if this is affecting multiple homes, is it possible that things in the area could be using the energy and somehow creating more turbulance? (increasing the energy and making it as negative as possible?).

I have a possible theory on how to accept these emotions, however. If you've looked into chakras, one of the keys to opening them is to understand a certain negative emotion to unlock a positive one. My mind is fuzzy on the exact order of emotions, but I get the gist of how it works:
In order to accept an emotion, you must first think back to a time where you felt that emotion, embrace it as a factor in life, also as an unavoidable factor at times, then let it go (hopefully this makes sense).

Hopefully this can help in the current theory and solution everyone is formulating. 😊

Well here goes nothing...

Please excuse the rambling that follows and the 'controversial' nature of what it contains, It came as a form of 'Spirit Writing' while I 'worked' on behalf of WB to try and figure out what has been happening...

Dan-goat guide-wandering spirit- DREAMS... Conflict caused negative energy build up, Conflict between mortal body and wandering spirit being joined.

Wandering Spirit connects with Dan just before/during birth because it needs human experience to grow... Dan's lifetime experiences were more like the lifetime of 3-4 people and when the Wandering Spirit felt it was time to go it discovered that it could not 'untangle' itself from Dan's 'mortal coil'. This is where the negative energy, conflict and depression came from in Dan's life. It was from the knowledge that in order to be 'itself' the Wandering Spirit needed to 'slough off' the Mortal Shell that was Dan this made neither happy but to be free... It is what the Wandering Spirit 'needed'.

The Mortal part of Dan wasn't happy with this and thus depression and negative energy resulted. The Wandering Spirit, not happy with the how it needed to free itself, this added to the negative energy as well... But that need to be free eventually won out and upon its release that negative energy/depression that had built up between the two spirits (Dan's and the Wanderer) has attempted to bond/anchor itself on the 'energy' that was closest to it at the time of Dan's passing. Namely you and or yours... This is not a negative entity; no it is simply a massive build up of emotions and negative energy. The dog's react because they 'feel' something different around/in your house.

I believe the cats and birds have been sent buy the 'Goat' from Dan's dreams (Wandering Spirit) to help draw away this negativity. They come, they hang out they depart with a small part of the negative energy so that it might be scattered and cleansed by Nature Herself.

Wandering Spirits are not evil, they intend no harm but somehow, some way this one was so 'entwined' with Dan's Spirit it couldn't get away once it had what it needed from a connection to a human life. I have no answer for this, perhaps it was 'when' the Wandering Spirit 'joined' Dan's... Just before? During? Just after birth? I do not see the 'when'. Somehow though the only release it could find was...

I'll leave it at that, I know there is going to be a lot of feed back from this one... But I stand by my 'findings/feelings'.

I'm still letting ideas on how to safely do this simmer in my brain.
All I know is that it's imperative to stand united as a family. Any internal stress, and let's face it, we all have some, has to be worked through and forgiven. I have a sneaking suspicion that this will come down to a one-on-one battle between one of you, whoever is the most strong and determined, and this emotion, while the rest of the family supplies emotional back up. Like any other emotional upheaval in a family. I'll keep thinking. And keep praying for you all.

Interesting how we should both be thinking about the past few MONTHS and not only this incident. I am almost wanting to toy with the idea of since we arrived. Perhaps even before that.
See? This house stood empty for two years. When we had to leave the house by the school, it was through no ones "fault". The Landlord was hit by the recession, that we are not having, and needed to move back into his own rental. You know of the stories about THAT house, as they are all in my stories here (well, the ones I shared). When we moved, we were granted two weeks to find a place, secure it, get everything packed up and go. The landlord had very strict deadlines. Christmas was just a day after we HAD to be out.
Our very first "incident" HERE was an "extra" package delivered that had questionable origins, but familiar (if misleading) "clues".
But the house had stood empty. The Landlord HERE advertised it in numerous papers, locally and state wide. We never saw a single ONE of those advertisements. In a coincidental meeting, my LP met the man, and a house was offered for rent. This one.
It was perfect. We could move in right away, no long term contract- in fact, none really to speak of (we were just looking for an "out", we would find our home later when the threat of homelessness had passed) He had had five renters, in the further past, that had stayed here, no more than two months a piece. Different lengths of time, mind you, but they would never REALLY say why it is that they left. After THEM, no one was even asking about the house until WE did, two years later. No one had even STEPPED inside until the day he met us out here...

All coincidence?

WB - gotta back up BJJ's theory here. We know you are going full Native here and doing a clean sweep on all fronts. With everything that has gone on over the last several months that not everyone is privy too, emotions are and have been at an all-time high. So all things are way off kilter.

I, personally, think BadJuuJuu has a solid theory. She normally does, doesn't she? 😆

Displaced emotions, whether in people, animals, inanimate objects, whatever can create havoc. It's going to take some doing to figure out where this "emotion" is coming from, but if you can and you can "center" this and regain peace, you might be standing on solid ground again. The thing is, there are so many factors to take into consideration. And sometimes there are hidden factors that we don't even realize could contribute.

No, no... I was talking about the past comment that had caused me a personal issue. I could not understand how someone could get offended by the SERIOUS use of a Super Soaker- Blessed, mind you,- filled with Holy Water, in a Spiritual War. It was as if the reasoning WAS that ONLY certain persons... Oh, I am NOT going to get into THAT again. It was resolved, and all a misunderstanding on BOTH parts. What it boiled down to was Personal Belief Systems, and Ours was just not the same. <shrug> No issue there. The world IS a "melting pot", and I learned something new. So, it was a great thing.
As for the story submission being down. Here, just very recently, more stories were posted. This one right here (tapping the monitor) is a new one. Posted just the 18th of this month. It is a lengthy process at times, and we all work different shifts in REAL life, as well. We are NOT a large "staff", but we do an awesome job. You just have to be patient. Any number of things could be holding it up. Our site is run by humans. ❤ And I LOVE you GUYS!

See, How I think is that AS they are carriers, they are what WE call Guides. Guides are sometimes "little more" than an Usher. Ushers "simply" escort a being who has REDEEMED itself to The Other Side.
Guides, though. Guides can communicate with their charge and form a kind of friendship, of sorts. And SOMEtimes they will meet up in another life in that same relationship if it "clicks". If it does NOT "click", they are used as an Advisor. An Advisor works in the capacity of a Counselor at school. One is "used" for just about the whole gamut of things from personal issues to career choice (in this case Life choices) shifting. They are a permanent fixture while you are on The Other Side, second only to the Spirit chosen to be your Assistant. An assistant... Oh, you did not ask all of that. I am just "breaking it down" a bit more than necessary.

Yes. There WAS an arson, just "up the block" so to speak, and RIGHT next to where we lived just eight short months ago. Literally. Our house sat next to a school who "shared" a front lawn WITH this State Park (a short space of land later is a HUGE fence... So the state was not THAT generous. But it is the thought that matters). That IS a possibility, and it COULD make a lot of sense.
Not only because THAT area is under construction, but the road just over the tracks has been since the weather broke this year, a few miles to the OTHER side of that road is MORE construction, down that same road on into the next city there is construction. I would almost wager a bet that if one were to sky map the area, all they would see is the color orange.

Was are hanging on the idea of a massive energy as well. There are several reasons for that, and one I shared in another place a bit ago. Right after my LP's issue (which, he IS still battling, but it is not NEAR as crippling as it was then), the gentleman who lives a few doors to the left of the house attempted suicide. We were having a party for my son, at the time, when all kinds of emergency vehicles pulled up and blocked off the whole block. Halted OUR whole party, let me tell you WHAT. Thankfully, he survived, but... Gave us all quite a chill.
Before that even, a few months ago, in fact, there was a stabbing at the house next door. Let me tell YOU some interesting things have developed from THAT as well. But that was all BEFORE any of OUR issues seem to have been...issues.
I do not know. It is just the whole area in a three "bubble L shaped" block area. Once you get past that barrier, it is almost as if the feeling just..."lifts".

THAT is one of the MAIN reasons I believe this to be an ENERGY and little more. Still; quite a challenge.

We all seem to be of the same opinion that what you all are dealing with is an emotion that has taken on a "life" of it's own. I'm still thinking this through as I type, so bear with me a little on this.
Emotions are a natural part of our make-up as humans. All emotions. We all may be looking at this a little off. Maybe instead of fighting it off, as an enemy, it has to be looked at as a simple part of existence, a part of being a human person with feelings.
Maybe, try understanding the feeling? Depression, sorrow, sadness, all these are simply part of being a human. All emotions have their place in a well-balanced person's heart. Maybe the way to overcome this thing, is to put it back in it's proper emotional place.
Ok, just a random thought that popped into my mind.

When you think about it, they do make a lot of sense to use, because they're at a further distance from whatever you're using them on. I don't feel as odd now, considering that multiple people have discussed using them in a serious matter.

Onto the crows. I think I might have been the one who didn't phrase something right. I am happy to recieve crows, however, the fact that they're there because of something else worries me.

Oh, I noticed you were a mod, so I have a question: I've heard that the site isn't taking any more stories as of late. Is this true? I have a story typed up for my Lady Gaga issue, and need assisstance from the site's lovely contributers.

Now, you mentioned an arson in your area. Is it possible that the spirits and other nature entities may be angered by that, as well as the construction?

Also, I agree with Rookdygin about it possibly being a huge mass of energy. The more I re-read it and research, the more it makes sense. Either that, or your cleansing and spiritual strengthening is working against whatever it is, if indeed it is an entity building energy or something.

A few weeks back someone burned down the observation tower in one of the State Parks. That is the park that was right next door to our last house. Remember?
Well, anyway. There is all kinds of construction going on down there in that park. The tower is "on hold" as it WAS arson, and construction has already been underway. They are giving the entrance a face lift and fixing a few of the moss covered bridges. Gonna cost close to a Million (?!?!) to rebuild the tower... Best place to get a GOOD close up of hawks in flight... You know, the WHOLE ball of wax.
Anyway- my whole point in sharing THAT was to point out that there have been HUNDREDS of people in that park. It is usually a bit "sleepy" right now what with school back in session, and all.
There was just a write up in the locals about bird migration. I am going to have to see if I can send you that. There is some kind of "odd migration" of various birds. Honestly, I did not read the story. It did not catch my interest then, but NOW... Time to change the "horses" for the remainder of the journey? That is about five- maybe seven mile away.

The Gentleman who was spotted near our Prayer Rock is a personal friend of mine. I would trust him with more than I would most. In fact, I already have. My Life Partner had never met him, as this friendship is a rather new one (I call anything within a five year time frame "new"). We ALL believe that he was there as a witness of sorts, for any number of logical reasons. The fact that it was HIM to have been there... THAT is the majic of that moment.
I never suspected a thing.

And the Super Soakers? Oh yeah, that fueled an all out war of words here on site a while back, but let me TELL you... We have USED them. Just as effective as that little glass jug or gallon pickle jar, let me assure you. I do not make fun of using the Powers. And it thoroughly offended me that when it was brought to Internet light, someone ELSE took offence. I just could not understand...
As long as the VESSEL is blessed and cleansed, ANY vessel is worthy to hold Holy Water.

First things first... I am going to post some points for validation, that way I know I was in the 'right place' or at least 'in touch' with the correct energies...

Proof its energy and not entity: Your daughter was not attacked nor hurt by the exploding plastic board (you never said if she was hurt, I do not feel she was)... Pieces embedding in the ceiling, dented appliances and all that, but she was not hurt? An attack by an entity would have been more 'directed', this also shows the love and protection that surround your children...

Your LP and the sudden bout/fight with 'Her'. Negative Entities want to 'feed' off the process, the long slow process involved with someone arriving at that point... To suddenly be there... Well somehow defenses were down, possibly because of energy expended to cleanse the house, and that's how it found a foothold... Which of course was 'pushed out/away' quickly because it was not 'His' energy and therefore easily spotted and 'removed' from Him...

Dan's experiences would have been enough for 3-4 lifetimes. Many things happened to him, more than an average person, but as sad as the outcome was his life was very full and he touched many, many lives.

If I am correct in all of this I will post the rest of my 'findings' or if you prefer I will send them directly to you... Let me know either way. Be Safe and Blessed Be.

Yes, ripple effect describes it very well, just ensure you and yours visualize your whole home being 'covered'... I find that if I concentrate on negative energies being 'pushed' out by this energy expanding it helps create a 'shell' that only let's positive energy in. You may find that some people have a hard time finding your house after doing this. This is not because of 'bad/negative' intent towards you, but more to the fact that they have negative energy attached to them in some way.

Hmm, I've heard that about crows. Thank you for the information, because that actually gives me insight into my own problem. Although, the knowledge I'm gaining only leads me to believe that Lady Gaga is something to worry about, as most of his activity is done in the dark.

For the time being, I would just continue with what you're currently doing and see if this weirdness passes. The shut down would still be a wise idea however, seeing as how the entity would have one less energy source to draw from.

In MY belief system, a crow is NOT a bad thing, but a very GOOD thing. Crow is the carrier of beings from the darkness into the light. They guard against the FEAR of the dark, they are mischievous and the keeper of Spiritual Law. Not at all the scavengers that MOST people seem to think them as.
We HAVE done the Holy water spritzer, too. In fact we just about drowned the house. What I am thinking, about the salts, is that the salt is "full" and needs to be replaced. Nothing really all that odd about that, it has happened to us before.

We did have a gathering last weekend of a few close, personal friends in which we fellowship-ed with shared experiences, cleansings, smudgings and the like. You must know me well. I have been "tapping" the Elders of the area since this whole ordeal began. The house seems to have a bit of history, but other than that, I think I am going to have to hook up with the Heritage, instead of the Neighborhood.

No. I do not get any bad feelings out of these animals. Not even when the big dogs behind us start in to whining, I do not even get the start of a feeling of unease. It is just as if they are SUPPOSED to be there, and I just accept it.

It seems that whatever you're dealing with is strong. I haven't heard much of entities and demons who aren't affected by charged salts. I think your decision to "go native" is very wise, as a lot of entities feed off of electrical appliances, if that makes sense.
I'm still baffled by the animals. I've still had a massive amount of crows in my area, and its at the point where they don't fly away. Perhaps multiple "portals" have opened? Then again... I'm pretty sure my town itself is a portal...
The multitude of cats could be coming from that house, but for some reason, they may be attracted to the happenings at your house.
In addition to the charged salts, I would also sprinkle some holy water on any entrances, as well as the perimeter of the yard.
I somehow get the feeling that whatever this entity is may be on the nasty side, as it is determined to harrass you. Its also one of those feelings I get. Hard to explain, but I can get a feel if something is bad or not. Right now I have an uneasy feeling, although my own entity/demon (Lady Gaga; anytime I say Lady Gaga, I'm talking about the entity in my house, who weirdly knows of her songs and likes them) may be causing said feelings.

Interesting about Moon Phases. Truly. I will have to check around in the neighborhood to see if anything odd happened in other peoples homes. Just as a curiosity, you understand. I am a bit of a geek for the trivia. Trivia leads into research, after all.
Well, I tell you, the Salts do not seem to really be doing all that much now. We are in the process of scheduling a few days to "go Native" (as we joke at home), and lose all electricity in order to FULLY cleanse the home. As of right now, I plan to sweep the salt in the morning and recharge the house.
Everyone who looks towards our direction, can see the animals. They are not ethereal. They ARE fully physical. As far as we have SEEN, and believe me, we have LOOKED, no one else has been overrun by animals at any point in time. Of any breed.
No, nope. Animal dumping is not too prevalent to the area. MOST people around here seem to cherish their pets. Not too many strays about. Though there IS one house, two doors down, that a LOT of cats seem to begin life at.

For SOME danged reason, NOTHING in my life can come easy. I seem to be a magnet for the "interesting".
No, Dan was not Native, but he often told of dreams in which he spoke, high on a mountain top with a goat. Now, some may laugh, but a goat, in our way of thinking means wanderer. Like as in you never feel like you fit in. I would say, as for the outcome, that that was pretty accurate for him.
Of course you hit things right on tack, I believe, as I do not believe this to be a ghost either. I know it is SOMEthing, but it is NOT Dan.
Now that you question it, it IS peaceful when the animals arrive in mass. To be honest, all I really remember hearing was their songs, an occasional flap of a wing and my own heartbeat. Which is odd, as I am inner city.
As I trust you, we will do as you suggest. If I get you right, the energy should flow outward in a ripple effect, right? Am I to think the energy shift should be noticed immediately?

I had a sudden thought: Is it possible that any neighbors who are also sensitive may be experiencing similar happenings, including the animal appearances?
Also, does your area have a large number of animal dumpings, or lack of people who spay and neuter their animals? I'm trying to explore any possibility, although having that many birds that close to a group of people is indeed strange.
On to another possibility: I've noticed that people who are less sensitive tend to notice less. Is it possible that your neighbors have animals come to their yards, maybe late at night, but don't really notice or think anything of it? Perhaps the animals feel the need to flee from an entity that doesn't belong.

I had to look "My Brother" up & read it. It was so sweet! As an older sis to 5 half & step siblings, I know where she's coming from. I'm glad you approve of my choice. I think its the most beautiful story. Also, it makes me think about how different my life could be if my family hadn't denied their tribal heritage for so long. No one even remembers what tribes we are decended from now, which makes me so sad. My husband knows he has a lot of Cherokee & Creole in him, so I make up for my lack of history by making sure our kids know the stories & such from his heritage. Please keep the stories coming. I enjoy them so much. Also, do you get a bad feeling from your furry & feathered guards, or what? And check out the elders in your area, the library & the internet. There really is no set time for the "changing of the guards". I know that late at night, all we hear are the dogs and the cats. We do not so much as even glimpse a bird, but then, birds are NOT nocturnal. Not trying to point out superior knowledge at all, just saying that I have not LOOKED for a bird at night.
BUT- it IS birds in the evening, dogs at around dusk, cats twenty four hours a day, and ALL night (though not continuously). This is not to sound..."Let us keep this story rolling", but we even had VERY young kittens (seemingly JUST weened) showing up on the porch as of last night.
We HAVE spoken to him about the meanings. Canines indicate faithfulness, loyalty, guidance, protection (But THESE dogs do not sound...confident). Felines show detachment, mystery, magic, independence. Birds (depending on their breed) are messengers, caring, devoted... Nothing really "related" to make the connections as to why they come, in turn, to make our neighbors give themselves the sign of the cross and kiss their fingertips. It is just (it seems) a bunch of unrelated things "hitting" on each other.
Maybe that is why I am so frustrated at this point.

To answer your question, yes, the moon can dictate how thin the veil between our world and our entity friends' world is. Since it was during the new moon phase, I'm sorry to say that more negative entities are prone to be out. Trust me, this is why my friends and I no longer take late night walks through the neighborhood during this phase.
Also, as I've stated before, if anyone were messing around, the waning moon and new moon is prime for dark spells, and negative entity conjuring.
Anyway, how is the charged salt working on the entrances? I don't really know much about Prayer Rocks, but should it be cleansed? This may seem bizarre, but have you tried spraying holy water around the area? I'd recomend a super soaker, to achieve portability and distance spraying.

I'm sorry if I seem to repeat any information, as this is a tough situation. Usually I wait for them to pass, but in your case, whatever it is seems to want to make some type of attack on your spirituality, understandably because of strong emotions lately and the fact that you are already sensitive to supernatural beings.

Hmm, this may be off topic, but I don't think Lady Gaga (demon/ entity I named to make him sound less terrifying; a long story I should probabably post sometime) wants me commenting. Any time I post on here, I get this heavy, dark feeling like he's behind me, then I hear all sorts of shinanigans in my room. He popped up around the weekend that your circumstances seemed to arise.

I am not sure I can be of much help, here, as July 11 and 12 we were sitting at New Moon Phase. The straight up start of total Moon, meaning that absolutely NONE of the moon was illuminated.
With THAT being said, I should think that to mean we were even MORE "open" to visitation due to lunar phases? And that the moon controls much more than just the tide?

While reading this, I got a few impressions which match up with Rook, Lou and others who posted before:

1. Whatever was attached to Dan sought to attach to you at his passing, without success. It was able to draw enough energy from your grief to follow you home, hoping to find an easier host to attach to but thwarted by the lack of a weakness it could exploit. It is still drawing limited energy from the household, in general, grieving friends who visit and you.

2. The animals are more than merely protecting you. They are keeping the thing held in your house while they try and communicate something to you. If I recall correctly, you follow a Native American tradition so you may want to follow up with what the lore of each animal contains. You may also want to check with any spirit guides you have for clarification of what they are trying to say. (Would also be interested to know if the changing of the guard follows a defined time - like mostly birds during the day and mostly cats at night?)

3. Odd question: have you spoken with your Little Man about the animals and their meaning? I get the impression that he may know something or have some hint for you about what is happening.

(And sorry if this sounds blunt. I'm on a few pain killers and trying to think straight enough to communicate is very hard right now...)

The Rook' is wise. In reading your story, I received the same image of what tormented Dan, leaving his body and looking for another host. No disrespect toward your deceased friend intended, but I think you and your inner circle are too strong for it and it is milling around your home and your friends looking for a weak link. I also got the impression that the animals were either drawn by the energy of this "thing" or situation; or maybe they are a means of protection sent by or invoked by Dan, I do not know... But they will do you and yours no harm.
You know the power of your group, and so does this entity... It found its way to you and your friends, and used Dan to tap into the energy it was attracted by... I think you know this. Guilt, despair, sorrow is weakness...Dan's tormentor is looking for a chink in your armor. That said, your abilities and your energies did not kill Dan; as hard as it is to live life after someone we love departs, you did all you could do for him in life, regardless of how you feel right now... He is better for having you as a friend.
Sidenote: My apologies again, for my comments and sarcasm when this site stopped moving for awhile. None of us knew what you were going through, and did not intend to make things even more difficult.

Aw thank you. I can use all the prayers I can get. My oldest son just started real pre-k & I'm not handling it so well. We've had a rough summer ourselves. Not as rough as yours, but I'm weak right now. I wish I had some answers for you. But this is a very unusual situation, although quite interesting too. I do get the feeling of protection though. Like they're looking out for you (the animals). I don't know why I feel that, but I do. Btw, my favorite story is "The Love of the Ancestors". What's yours?

Thank you for the welcome. I found this forum one night and thought I could put my knowledge and stories to good use.

I'd be happy to have a discussion, as I currently have nothing to do (waiting on college to start; I frequent forums a lot now.)

Anyway, moon phases can dictate the strength of activity and what kind of activity it is. For example, during the full moon or when the moon is waxing, you may have regular spirits and other entities that tend to be benevolent, however, on the waning and new moon phase, more agressive and possibly negative spirits and entities come out. I had a rather unpleasant experience of my own during the waning moon phase, but that's another story.

Also, if there was the chance that someone was messing around with something they probably shouldn't have in the area, the waxing and waning moon could provide insight into what little ghosties and what not this person tried to conjure or accidentally invoke. In Wiccan beliefs, spells of light are done during the waxing moon, whereas dark spells are done during the waning moon.

Anyway, I hope this can get you more leads on your situation. If you need any more help I'd definitely be happy to join a discussion, as I need something constructive to do with my time, and what better way to do it than help someone in need. 😊

It's never something simple with you is it? 😁 I can see that things have been busy for you sense we last spoke.

I am very sorry to hear of your friend and the circumstances around his passing. Was Dan Native? Did he have / Do you know his Spirit Animal (s)?

My 'gut' feeling is that whatever negitive energy that surounded Dan has tried to attach itself to you... Follow my thoughts through... You were there as he passed, you were very close to him and whatever drove him to that point became freed as he passed and needed another place to anchor and draw energy from. This applies to the opening doors and odd 'winds' that have been happening around you and your house, the dogs and as you pointed out your LP was 'whumped' by feelings not very much like himself.

The animals I feel have been sent to watch and protect. If I'm right when they are gathered, as weird as it looks to you and the neighbors. I hazzard a guess that it's a peaceful feeling over all that prevades the area?

With your permission I'd like to attempt to et a better feel for things, unless you feel I have 'struck things on the head'.

Continue to cleanse your home, continue to visit your Prayer Rock these are all good things. If you have the time get with your life Partner and find a spot closest to the center of your house, burn whatever incense you feel is the best for clensing and then you both should call forth 'pure energy'. Picture it as a ball between the both of you, see it grow, covering every corner of every room of your home, Pray that all negitive energies are pushed aside and out by this light, expand it as much as you feel you need to, have it cover above as well as below and all around your home, then picture it being anchored to the center of your home.

No. The birds are not afraid of the cats, and the cats are not afraid of the dogs. They, in fact, seem to take turns on visiting. There is a definite "break" in the "action", when the "changing of the guards" seems to happen. Occasionally they share the space, and when THAT happens, all they really do is LOOK at one another.
Do not get me wrong, it is not like a scene from Noah's Ark. Watching the animals, you KNOW that they are aware of them being "natural enemies", they just seem to skip over that to be near us for some reason.

I believe the question about "her" that you have is when I referred to Suicide as a female. All that really is, is personifying Life and Death. When WE speak of either, there is a "sex" involved. Death just happens to "be" female and Life, male.
Thank you for the suggestion of the placing of salt. Believe it or not, we have all doors, windows, cracks- ALL ways "in"- outlined with Charged Sea Salts. We have also spritzed with Holy Water and Smudged with Sage and the other Medicinal Herbs as well.

Darn, almost forgot. Take some rock salt or whichever type works best for you and make a salt line on the outside doorways and if you want, window ledges.

Ergh, empty texts like that always creep me out.
I feel extremely empathetic for you, as it is horribly hard to have someone close pass.
Forgive me if I seem to pry, but it seems as if Dan wouldn't want to haunt you, due to your closeness. However, if somehow he is, maybe he's confused in his state or angry about having to leave you alone, although I wouldn't think someone who cared for you that intensely would cause you so much fright and displeasure.
As this is clearly emotionally traumatic for you, your spirituality would understandably be more open, allowing a possible negative entity to take advantage of you.

This is truely strange though, considering the fact that it seems to be happening on a wide scale area. I've had similar instances happen around where I live. It would help to know specifics about what moon phase it was, or any information on people in the area acting strangely. To add on to what was already happening, someone may have been dabbling in something they shouldn't have. Who can say?

On to the outside (?) forces that took an interest to your door. My friend has actually had something try to open her front door, only to succeed in opening the screen door. THAT was interesting on all sorts of levels.

Also, lately as I have had an increased amount of activity, I've noticed an abnormal amount of crows. They are EVERYWHERE where I live, and this has never happened before, except maybe the occasional 2 or so. Has this happened to you yet?

Anyway, I'm sorry I can't give some solid advice, as I'm not sure what's to be done about wide scale happenings, but I would definitely stay alert by keeping the smudging materials, rock salt, holy water, and whatever else you want to throw in there (I've learned its good to keep an arsenal). You might also want to go to the Prayer Rock and try to cleanse it, if need be.

WB I am so sorry for everything you have been going through. I can not understand how or why the passing of your friend would trigger a series of events like this. Thank goodness the signs were noticed before anything happened to your LP. To have the smudging, cleansings, and blessings just fail and almost harm you as well is leading me to think of two things. 1. Your friend realized what he had done was a mistake, and changed his mind too late. Now he is refusing to accept that he is deceased. Or 2. His death somehow opened a door or flood gate of activity. That whole animal situation going on your neighborhood is just plain freaky. Messengers of some sort perhaps. Have you gone to the Prayer Rock yet that you mentioned?
