It's been awhile since I've posted here, mostly because life has gotten in the way. But it seems no matter how busy I get, I still find time to be haunted.
See, I used to be terrified of ghosts. And I'm not going to lie, they still frighten me. But recently I've found peace with the deceased, and instead of being terrified of them, I've learned how to coexistent with the paranormal.
For a long time now I've felt uneasy being in my laundry room, or in our garage. And I figured it was nothing, because most the time my imagination can run away with itself. And I was convinced that was actually what was going on, me just being paranoid, until something happened.
One night while I was doing some laundry I felt something weird, like someone was watching me. I ignored it, trying not to freak myself out. But while I was throwing some clothes in the dryer I dropped something, and when I turned to pick it up I saw something actually was behind me.
We have a small bathroom in a laundry room that has a sliding door. The door was open part way, and from within the darkness I saw a crouched, broken looking man, with twisted dark limps and bright silver eyes staring at me. Startled, I left the room, and tried to convince myself that I was just imagining things.
After that I've felt a presence from within the bathroom, and sometimes the laundry room. The laundry room door will open by itself, and if you're standing near the hall near the room something will stomp up behind you or tug on your clothing. To be honest I feel that this is not a nice entity.
I'll also hear noises coming from in there, and see a shadow creeping out from around the door at night when I'm alone. Once my mother got fed up with me complaining about it and stormed into the laundry room and demanded that whatever was in there leave. But all that happened was creepy occurrences happening in other places in the house. It holed up in my room for awhile before eventually returning the laundry room where it still resides.
This had been going on for a few months now, and I'm not worried about it harming anyone, because it's had plenty of chances and never acted on it. I don't know what it's goal is. Maybe it just liked my house and decided the out-of-order bathroom that it stays in is dark and empty enough to stay in.
That's not saying I wouldn't mind it leaving. I'm tired of getting up at night for a glass of water and being chased back into my room by a broken mangle of shadowy limps. So I guess if anyone has any practical ideas for how to get rid of something like that let me know. I'm not into the dramatics, like getting a priest of yelling verses from the bible. If there's a simple fix it'd be lovely to hear.
Thank You!
