Ghosts or spirits write on walls maybe to try to communicate with us and tell us things, because some people aren't the type of people that can listen or speak to ghosts or spirits. 😊

Thank you for your comforting words. I have not experienced a spirit writing on the wall. Although, I have experimented with automatic writing through the Ouija board at a very young age. I found that it was not accurate and it spelled out words that I couldn't comprehend. That is the closest to the writing on the wall I can get. I'm sorry I can't help you with that incident. However, I noticed that in your story you spoke of a bath mat, even though nobody used it, it was soaking wet. In Asia they say that if a house is wet or has water coming out of nowhere and there is no identifiable source, spirits linger in the house. Regardless, if a house is brand new it can still have spirits or attract them to it. I built my house 5 years ago and I have many spirits who occupy my place one being the Guardian of my house (House Keeper or Caretaker) whom I met 2 years in the middle of the night. It has only made one appearance to me. Not your typical spirit I can tell you that much. It has not ever done anything rather frightening in the house. Every house whether new or old has one. The spirit in your situation is letting itself be known to you guys, I'm not saying that it is the Guardian. They are known to do things if they are unhappy with the occupants. For instance the walls in your house are white and one day you decide that you want to paint them red. So you paint the wall red and they disapprove, they will either move objects in the house around, make the rooms cold, etc... These are some of the signs. Here is something to think about... Think back to when the strange episodes happened, is it possible your actions angered a spirit or Guardian without you knowing it? I have experienced many sinister things to an extent but nothing evil of the late since I have lived here. To me it is as much their house as it is ours. They are our Guardians and our Keepers. In the meantime I pray all is well with you and hope you figure things out. 😊

hey katie just read your 2 stories there very interesting I'm hoping to write up another story on here regarding when I lived back in my parents house and it was a tall man with a long hooded black cloak on much like the grim reaper my mom seen him full on walking down the stairs very weird note to all this house was also built by my dad... And in my time in that house we all went through hell really and one night when I was asleep I got awoken by a chewing sound on my headboard and when I looked back at it there was a pure black tarantula on my headboard it. I ran to my moms room and the spider had disappeared the next day not a trace I could write a book on this one to much really to go into. One day I will type it up on this site though if you or anyone else has an idea why something would scare me like that comment me.

And belissima thank you for your comment it is terrifying I'm hoping I can come over the other side of it... ,the writing on the wall is defo the most concern of ours I maen it seemed like such a horrid thing to do I don't know wether its trying to tell me something or scare the hell outta me which it has succeeded as with my fiance. sarahk, I'm sorry for what you are going through. It sounds really terrifying. The wet mat and footsteps themselves don't seem cause for such concern but when the writing appeared on the wall while you were away, that seems a lot more threatening. I'll be waiting to see if Shane can decipher what was written and what it means. I'm hoping for an update soon. ❤

This kind of thing happened in a film about a girl who had a imaginary friend and he wouldn't leave her alone and when she wanted to be left alone he did bad things. Like killing the cat and put the cat in the bath and writing on the wall and the little girl dad kept blaming her. She kept saying it wasn't me.

just writing this comment to saint patricks son hi its sarah thanks for youe commment I just really want to know who this spirit is or what it is if anyone out there knows how I can do this please let me know I don't want to go back to the house as I or my fiance would never feel comfortable in it again I would just like to get someone to contact it to see if it wants something from me or whatever it has to say keep posting your comments with any help or ideas you have for me as I do be on this site every day

I finally got the hang of using this site 😊

If it was your dad, and well known people, I'm afraid it's hard to tell.
Try checking on the history of the house.
But if by any chance there were some people fooling around while you're dad was building the house, they could have put charms, charms are very powerful! Its normally hidden between walls or one floor to another, they're tiny bottles filled with finger nails, hair of dead bodies, which are quite harmful "at times". Or they are just trying to make sure that you know that they are present;If that's the case, just put some salt and pepper in bottles an nail them to the walls, it helps, A LOT. If you can put up a picture of the writing I might be able to hand it over to my aunt who might be able to read it. She likes helping pople out with spirits.
Sounds weird, I know, but it's not that hard, I would read it myself but I'm still in the process of learning. If anyone knows how to put up pictures here, PLEASE HELP ME 😢

I'm curious about your fiance's reaction to the things that happened in your home. What was his opinion about these events? I'm not exactly a lionhearted individual, but it would take more than footsteps, a weird feeling, wet bath mats, and mysterious writing to run me out of my house. Probably. Also, a doctor told me that feelings of dread, or of being watched, can sometimes be symptoms of heart disease, especially in women. So a medical checkup might not be a bad idea. 😐

its probably a relative trying to reach out to you pray for that deceased person and it will leave you alone. Then again the nightcrawler is famous for writings on walls so be careful. He could of come from Leap Castle in munster- one hell of a dangerous demon/elemental.

It is absolutely terrifying when things are occuring in your home, the place that is ssupposed to be your safe haven in the world is invaded and your privacy taken away.

If you have a picture of the writing, perhaps it could be deciphered. Do not let the entitys control your situation, they can certainly feed on raw emotion such as fear.

Hey, Now that I know that this was a new house, I maybe able to help you, I just need to know if the people that built were well known or just some people you found?

My house is haunted I go through more than that I tell you. You should of taken pictures.
I have seen 2 ghost in this house and the 3rd I just heard her she was a little girl. I just put up with it I'm not bothered. Where else are they going to live. If you have bad spirits then put salt on your walls and say please leave. Talk to a priest and fill half of glass of holy water put it at the side of you at night and don't drink it. That's what I go told. I enjoyed reading your story it was interesting. I go through things like that. 😊

I know things like this freak people out, but I can not understand why people leave their own homes because of it. If it is a bad entity, something can be done. I do not like it that these bad spirits win and you are left wondering. I would do what Shane has wrote. Good luck.

If you could provide a photo of the writing, I may be able to help you decipher it and what may be an effective way of dealing with the entities you may or may not have within your home. Otherwise I would say try a smudge ceremony on the home as this helps to remove any trapped negative energies. I have directions for one here on the site in the articles section. Let us know if you are able to get those photos.
