Dancing Orbs

Thank you for reading and commenting on my previous stories.

Today is just a Lazy Durban day, and I thought what better way to pass time, so here I am.

Prior to my parents passing I had never seen orbs, but I did read and watch movies about it.

It was my Mum's 13th day prayer (In Hindu tradition, we believe that the soul begins its journey to their final resting place, or the heavens as many of us know it). My family and I sat down to a quiet lunch after all the prayer rituals were concluded. My eldest son who was 11 at the time suddenly looked up and he moved his head slowly from the end of the table where he was sat to where I was sitting. He then asked us if we could see the light. Everybody said no, then he said, "Mum. Look it is directly above your head". He then said it was a small shiny golden ball. He watched it for a while and after about a minute he said it disappeared from above me.

A few years after both my parents passing, we were sat outside during Loadshedding (this is South Africa and it is full of surprises), Everything was dark and directly in front of us were 2 balls of golden light no bigger than a coin. The light just kept on dancing in front of us. My husband and children saw it. It was then that my son reminded us of what he saw on my Mum's prayer day. It was there for approximately a minute or two. It just disappeared thereafter. We were left gob-smacked. We have not seen it since. Sometimes I wonder if these are little signs to say they are there watching over us.

Thank you for reading and please feel free to comment on any situation similar to this if you have had this experience.
