This happened at my fiancé's parent's house in Johannesburg, 2003. Now when they bought the house it was really dilapidated and vandalized, but it is what they love doing so slowly but surly they started fixing it up and building rooms on and so on.
Now this house to me is still very creepy even worse than when I first went in there, I don't know what it is about this house but its creepy, now I don't know how many of you have seen the movie "Rose Red" well I called this house just that because every time we went to visit there they had broken down one wall and rebuilt it in a different place so if any of you have seen the movie you will know what I mean.
That's enough history let me carry on with it. Please under stand this happened to a very close friend of mine, who never believed in ghosts and things like that... Until this happened.
Any way while waiting for my fiancé's brother to finish in the bathroom she was standing in the kitchen playing with the dog, the house was quiet, no one was around, it was a lovely summers evening so what could go wrong right? So she was playing with the dog in the kitchen when all of a sudden the dog went running to my fiancé's bed room, so my friend went after the dog scared that he needed to go out and that he would mess in the house or that my fiancé's brother was trying to scare her.
As you come around the wall near the bedroom there is just complete blackness so being a little creeped out she stood by the door and called the dog... She bent down and called "Zeus, come here boy" and with that there came a voice back from the darkness that sounded like a small child, and the voice repeated what she just said then giggled. She ran so fast to the flatlet on the other end of the house that by the time she had gotten there she was snow white and out of breath, my fiancé's brother come out of the bathroom (still soaking wet) after he herd her scream.
After a few minutes he calmed her down only for her to tell him that she didn't scream, but she did tell him about the voice in the dark. He said it was a blood curdling scream he thought some one was trying to hurt her. But still to this day she is adamant that she didn't scream.
We have told my fiancé's parents about this but they say we are talking rubbish and there is nothing to be afraid of, now I don't know if this has anything to do with what happened but a few months later the dog got spooked and jumped through a window and ran away, we have never ever found him and he was never like that, he was a lovable dog with good nature, and still we were told we are dreaming.
And he just "ran away" (know that he had never done anything like this before)
My fiancé's parents still live there and when we go visit there I still get shivers down my spine. I am also very sure that animals can feel and see things that we some times can't.
Thank you for reading my story I hope that some one can back me up on the animal part.
God bless
