Baguio's Chills

I learned this story from my cousin. She visited Baguio last year. She told me that Baguio is not only famous and beautiful but also chilly. My cousin Angella visited a very luxurious hotel. I know the name of the hotel but I will not tell since the hotel might lose its publicity.

One day when Angella visited the hotel, she felt something spooky but she didn't tell anyone because maybe all the people there might think she's a freak. That night she slept in one of the most beautiful rooms in the hotel. She heard some noise. She thought it was her roommate Clarisse. "Clarisse could you stop making noises I'm so sleepy", shouted a very sleepy Angella. But Clarisse didn't reply. Suddenly she heard gun shots and people shouting. Angella thought it was just some of the kids in the hallway. Angella was very tired of the noise that she shouted. Clarisse woke up. Finally Clarisse told Angella that she was so scared. She told her that she dreamt that so many people were killing each other.

Unable to stand their fear, they asked some workers about the history. They told them that it was really where the Philippines-Japanese fight was held. It was a bloody one. Sometimes they could see a lady asking if they saw her head. They told Clarisse and Angella everything. Since Angella and Clarisse were so scared they checked out. They promised that they would never go to Baguio.

The lesson from the story is to always learn the history of a certain place.

"Sometimes they could see a lady asking if they saw her head"

Baguio is a place you want to be if you want to experience some spooky and strange happenings. In my opinion, Baguio is one of the haunted places in the Philippines.

wow. That was scary- even though you have company- your the only one heard the weird experience. Yea I heard about the Bagiou but I haven't visit there yet. I wonder why there a lots of spirits wandering around there... I know in 1990s there was an earthquake, many people died, and Wars too. God bless every1. If I'm going to visit there I'm going to sleep with my parents closely and hide in the blanket- what ever weird voices will come around don't answer it, go to sleep and remember the happiest moment...^_^

Well, Baguio is really known for lots of ghost stories due to the tragedies that happened there so far. It's not a wonder you'll really experience a lot of paranormal things there.

Hello! I'm from Baguio and I think I know the hotel that you are telling about. Some ghostly places here in Baguio are the hotels that have been destroyed during 1990 earth quake (I was still in my mother's womb during that time). 😁

Hi Angelli. I have heard about this hotel. Family friends in the philippines have come to australia and told me these stories of Baguio being a nice cold place but have haunted hotels. I thought they were making them up but after going to the philippines and visiting family there and asking around about the baguio stories, they all had told me the same stories. Freaky but cool in a way. I have never been to Baguio but my sister has and she said she didn't like the room she had at a hotel so she slept on the floor in the same room as my parents. She didn't like what she was feeling in her room and didn't want to find out so she went and slept with my parents.

Hi Angelli! I have been to Baguio so many times already and experienced things like that also its a normal thing in Baguio, that's why a lot of people go there just for ghost hunting and I also have a story to tell about an experience there but I just couldn't seem to submit a story because of so many people submitting they don't accept new ones as of the moment... And I swear this one's really creepy! 😁

I know we keep things in silent and we don't want to tell people because they won't believe us. I know the feeling but my boyfriend he did believe me then he got freaked out so he now tells me to keep it to myself and he doesn't want to know. I have heard some hotels are haunted depending on the history of them.
Yeah I always remember that always check out the history before booking it. Thanks for sharing your story it was interesting in a way. 😐

Oh no, you see I seek out the haunted places to spend my vacation. I am an investigator and I am at my most relaxed when I am investigating a place and find that there really is something to the stories that maybe told of the place.

Magandang Umaga Angelli, Kumusta Ka? They say that certain places on earth are able to retain the memory of events that took place there, especially tragic events. Then when conditions are right they are replayed like a video of the past come to life. These are often known as residual hauntings and you really have nothing to fear of them. They just go through a cycle and then stop. They never, that I have noticed, interact with the living, it would almost be like you trying to change the out come of a movie you are watching by trying to reach out to the screen and cause something different to happen. I have been to Baguio and found it to be a very beautiful and peaceful place. But that was back in the mid to late 80's I am sure some of it has changed since then. Good luck to you.
