You may or may not be aware of the fact that I do a lot of EVP research. If I don't have a location to investigate, I investigate cemeteries. At least 4 times per week (more or less). On several occasions, I have brought home some ghostly visitors. However, the situation in this video is unique. I have heard of this happening before, but it has never happened to me until now.
On 06-12-2009 at 12:10 AM (midnight), our phone rang. I jumped out of bed to answer the phone. My 15 year old son was still awake and playing X Box with his cousin. His cousin (my nephew) lives several towns away. They were playing together and talking over headsets through X Box Live. I went to get the phone and my son said "don't bother it is XXX" (his cousin). I held the phone for a second then decided to answer to tell him to not call so late. By the time I answered, the incoming call went to voice mail. I did not listen to it, I just went back to bed.
The next day, my wife and I listened to the voice mail. It was NOT my nephew! It sounds like an older man. A creepy EVP type of voice that only says one word. SPOILER ALERT *********
"Hancock". The odd thing is that I live in "Hancock" county. With all of my research, have I attracted someone's attention? Not sure what all of this means, but I will keep you posted if we have more activity!
