RiPA : Research into Paranormal Anomalistics
Based in Milton Keynes, UK, and with over ten years in the field, RiPA was born to examine the paranormal using the Anomalistic techniques.
Anomalistics is the use of scientific methods to evaluate anomalies (phenomena that fall outside of current understanding), with the aim of finding a rational explanation.
Or in other words its the scientific study of anomalies defined as claims of phenomena not generally accepted by the bulk of the scientific community.
RiPA works on the basis that "unexplained phenomena exist," but that most can be explained through the application of scientific scrutiny.
This enables our research studies to be unbiased and true,
Without getting involved in the believer/skeptic argument.
RiPA also works alongside and/or on behalf of academics and universities while remaining fully independent.
