I live near Verona, Ohio. I own a 70 acre farm I bought in 1994. Old farm buildings were built in late 1800's. The one barn was for drying tobacco, and had a tobacco stripping shed attached to the barn. From the time I lived there, it always seemed like weird happenings would go on in the tobacco barn. It got so strange I ended up hanging a old crucifixion picture, and it is still there today.
I converted the stripping shed to a work shop. Couple years ago I was restoring an old tricycle and had the frame in a vise that was left at the farm from years ago. Went to the house and came back to the shed. I went to the vice to work on the tricycle, looked up and there was a wood dowel pin hanging mid air. I look at it, and the dowel pin dropped to the floor.
I was shocked. I left the barn to collect my thoughts. I told myself I have to face whatever this is. I went back in and looked around. I tried putting a CD in the player, it would not operate. I finally got it to work, and I just set in there listening to music. I called it out to see if it would show itself, but nothing happened.
I was still shook-up that night at work. I could not believe what happened. Got home at 4:00 pm and went to bed. Didn't sleep very good. The next morning I decided I would go out in the barn, and try to figure out what happened.
Went into the shed, and I asked whatever it was to leave. I seen a figure out of the corner of my eye, but facing I could not see it. I went out into the barnyard and I seen a figure move across the yard heading to the northwest.
On and off over the past couple years I catch a glimpse out of the corner of my eye of something. I don't have the fears like I use to about ghost. I go out to the barn all the time. And I always think about some of the things that I have encountered out there. One time I even sprinkled Holy Water for Exorcism. It left a relaxing feeling out there.
Not too many people believed what happened. They asked me what was I drinking. Local farmer thought it was someone that lived on the farm in the 50's. My mom asked if they tried to hurt me.

I too would love to hear any more stories you have Gfitz! Any more info might shed some light on who or what was responsible for the goings on at your property.
