We been living in our house for a mere 9 months or so and immediately upon moving in we knew there was something here. Within about the first week, I was taking a shower, and when I got out and looked in the mirror there was a woman behind me with long, tangled hair, and she was VERY pale.
Most of the activity is in line with the typical ghost story noises and doors opening and closing by themselves although you can actually see the door knobs turning. We have several recordings from over night, the spookiest of which was one where you could hear my husband (who should have been asleep) talking with a man, telling him "not to look in there". He has no memory of this taking place, and I was just in our bedroom so I would know if he had a friend over. All of it has seemed pretty harmless which is why we have had no problem staying here, until recently.
We keep being woken up by screams and slams. Most notably was a few days ago when I was in the garage doing laundry, my kids were in the living room drawing. I heard a little girl yelling and screaming bloody murder. I ran into the house thinking maybe it was my daughter, and my kids had no idea what I was talking about.
The last few weeks my husband has not been able to sleep at all. He wakes me up in the middle of the night talking about having such terrible nightmares he can't get back to sleep, visibly shaking, and how he feels like someone pressing on him. He has started talking about someone named "Cocabel" (sp?). He is starting to get so tired and frustrated, and I have no idea how to help him, this is my main concern.
I am a stay at home mom, I can afford losing sleep. He can't, he works in very dangerous conditions (confined space welding in the water pipes for the city) and needs to get his sleep.
