Jim, I really doubt it's coincidence. To me, it sounds like an occupational hazard. You work with some very nasty entities who hold grudges. Not surprising that you get followed home.
Do what you have to do to protect your home and family. You have the respect of a lot of people here, and you and your loved ones will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Just out of curiosity, when was the last time you took some time off? You may need a little break to recharge. It sounds like you've been very busy lately. You can't be in fight mode all the time, you will burn out and become an easy target. Take some time after the holidays to relax and recharge. You can't be at your best when you're exhausted.

Hey Jiim D, I will pray for you. In your preperation you must pray to God to build a strong hedge of protection over yourself and your family, every day not just before a case and pray that He protect your family and you before during and after a case. You can also ask God to bind the evil from attacking you, your family, and those that you are helping. You must know that if your ministry is effective, which I think your's certainly is that you and your family will come under attack as well to a certain extent, just for helping the targets the and making it hard on the enemy. Do this and prepare for your family and yourself just as diligently as you do for the case. I think you already know that if you surrender it all to Him that He will fight all your battles for you. Make sure that all of your spiritual armour is on and in tact so that you can stand while He secures the victory. Also sometimes we must remember that it is always about Him and nothing else. Not me, you, or those you are helping. It is about what we allow Him to do through us that counts. When you get to feeling bad and things break loose at home just say out loud, Jesus rebuke you and the Blood of Christ rebuke you, and pray outloud that God send them straight to the foot of Jesus' cross to be sent where they belong. Ikatsu, I read your disclaimer and your post hear to the OP. You seem to discount real help and just give your own opinion of what you thought happened. We passed the ouija board and where the entity may have come from a while back. If you are going to come on here and try to discount real spiritual help just because you don't believe in it, at least have the courtesy to give some sort of proven help or advice yourself. We have enough people that come on here with their opinion and speculations with no tangible information or actual useful help to offer. If you do not believe that Jesus (not religeon) can help to end this type of disturbance, take the time to read through all the archives at this site and all other sites like it and you will not be able to ingnore all of the first hand witnesses and victims that were saved from torment and pain from evil entities just like this one by trusting in Christ to fight the battle for them. Instantly and permanently. It cannot be denied except by people who refuse to look at the evidence and those that look at it and still refuse to acknowledge it. What I am saying is do no harm. So you don't like religeon. I don't either, but we know He can do it, He does it every day and has for over 2000 years.

I have a comment to the poster, and then I'd like the counsel of my brothers and sisters (yes, even those with whom I disagree).

First, the comment: Three is the calling card of the demonic because it mocks / inverts the Holy Trinity; ergo, 100% demonic. The Ouija Board opened the door and they'll exercise their "legal" rights to harass you. Please consider using Catholic Holy water on the beds, especially at night, and the phrase "Jesus and Mary help me". It'll push them back, at least initially. Please pray for me tomrrow, as I'm assisting a client at a confirmed demonically infested home. The couple is in their late 60s and are being hit, assaulted, ringing in ears whenever in prayer which stops when the prayer does, etc.

Now, my question, which I ask in all sincerity. I've noticed that before I go on a case, I'm hit with a bad sinus infection or a pulled muscle, out of nowhere, etc. I've noticed, also, that in the few days after a successful exorcism, my own home erupts in chaos. This does appear to be a very reliable pattern. Any thoughts? Am I being paranoid or is there something to this? Is it simple coincidence?

Hi there Tailitus, let me say that I'm not going to tell you to welcome God into your heart or push religion on you as some people here are doing rather than real advice about your specific issue here.

Obviously the ouija board set off flags for most people reading your story, and 3 is a common number among evil things, and the pattern is always the same. (3 A.M., 3 objects, 3 scratches). I'd say it's demonic if a blessing has not worked and that it has the power to make things fly across the room and harm/push/shove you. You don't seem very bothered at all and find it amusing, or did I just get my impression incorrect? You certainly did open a world of things into your home by playing with a ouija board, and should never do so again because things like this occur. This could end up killing you for all you know, so I suggest you get very very serious about getting rid of it which requires a lot of will power and showing it you're not afraid. Going to get an exorcism as many others mentioned is the right path to go, and ridding yourself of the board and cleansing it should also close the portal. It's said that if you burn or break it the portal stays around permanently, so I wouldn't advise that.

Anyway, I hope you stay safe and understand that ouija boards are extremely volatile. Us as humans shouldn't tamper with the spiritual world with constant communication and welcome everything in our homes so openly, when you're unaware of the unknown or what you might attract. I hope you take everyone's advice and rid this demon for good, because it can progress to something even more serious than voices, banging, and scratching. I'm sorry, but I'm with robertar on this one, you were fairly inexperienced with this kind of thing BUT at the end your Oh, by the way attitude and declaration of dabbling in the occult offer a whole new slant to your narrative. You even had a "special" name chosen for you dabbling days. And the QUIJA BOARD? Nice touch with that one. No your not fairly inexperienced at all. As a matter of fact, I'd venture to guess that you're very experienced. This is too out there for my taste, later. 🤔 🤔 🤔

I wouldn't call it an adventure as far as an interesting prediciment but I see what you mean.

Well you have not completely rescinded your invitation if you find its antics entertaining. It's like saying, "well you need to leave, but I still kind of like having you around." That is sending mixed messages. Another possibility is that when trying to do spirit communication; you have inadvertently opened yourself up to other spirits coming into your life, or created a type of open door or portal in your house. All I can say is just be very careful with what you are doing. I am not here to judge the choices that you make, but eventually you will probably tire of it being around. The only thing that worries me is that it is showing up in some ways to others around you, such as your grandparents. In some ways you are possibly putting your grandparents at the same kind of risk you are taking with your own life. Just keep that in mind as you are having your little "adventure". ❤ ❤ ❤

If you are not catholic you can get some of the paranormal demonologist that can usually dislodge it and they have much experience with ouja board incidents just like yours. They will first bind the board so that it is closed off and they take the board with them. It will not cost you anything. Google North American Demonic Paranormal investigations. They are very experienced in this. It sounds like something that he may be able to help you with over the phone or he would know someone in Texas that could help you. I would google it and call right away. I also know a crew in Oklahoma that are catholic but they help anyone. They are awesome and not far from you. Google Agape paranormal in OK. You will need help to get this straight. Pray for God's protection in Jesus name as often as you can, read the Bible, open it to scripture and leave it on your nightstand. Let us know how it is going. If you want it gone, take my advice and timing is important. The longer you don't get it out the worsr it will be to get out.

Ok here's what I think... I think you made something angry when you stopped playing with the Ouija board. At the end of the post you said you played with it until recently. Try this if you still have the same board, take it somewhere away from your house and say out loud, "I take back any invitations I gave to spirit communication/invitation. Any spirits still bound to the board or me, go back to where you came from. You are no longer welcome around me, my house, my family, etc... And tell it to go in peace and leave you alone." Then take the board and throw it away, bury it, or give it away. Go back to your house where you feel its presence the strongest and tell it that it is no longer bound to you or the board and it must leave you alone and go back to where it came from. I have a feeling you bound something to you or the board when doing the spirit communication. Once you stopped talking to it and giving it attention... Well it got pretty peeved to say the least, and it is possible you trapped it here and it couldn't leave. This may or may not work, because each person and situation is unique but it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. ❤ ❤ ❤

Talitus: I have not read any of the other comments so I'm sorry if I am repeating what someone already said. I believe this entity was invited in by you. Your involvment with the occult opened a door and now you must close it. You definitely need the help of a professional. Do a search of paranormal invgestigators in your area and see if someone in that group has experience with this type of problem. I wish you luck, and keep us posted.

And almost every other night somthing (not always scratches though that is common) happens it ranges from being grabbed or pushed, activity DOES happen every night though its not always a physical attack somtimes I just here the voice I spoke of earlier (its not in my head my grandmother claimed to hear it as well one night) and EVERY night the noises happen

2 sets are in the middle of my back. Another on my left arm. Another on my thigh and the most recent is on my lower back (I can't reach the middle of my back) and my nails are clipped I couldn't manage scratches like this

It sounds evil in nature, but I can't be sure. Have you tried telling it to leave? Has anyone else (friends, relatives) that visit your house experienced these things? I'm not sure if you might be hurting yourself in your sleep, but you could try videotaping yourself one night while you sleep to rule that out as a cause. All of the things you mentioned however seem to point to a negative spirit, possibly brought on by your dabblings.

By playing with an Ouija board you opened up your home to things coming in and probably attracted a bad spirit. Possibly a demon. The only stories I've read/heard with three scratches have been demonic. Although thebee raises a good point in saying that (s) he scratches themselves without realizing that could be a possible answer. But where are the scratches located? Places you can't reach? Angle's you can't manage? Take some photos of the scratches, keep them on hand as it might prove to be helpful.

Cleansing your house won't work for very long if its a strong spirit or demon. Get rid of the ouija board if you still have it, but don't burn it. Give it away. Thats the best way to get rid of them, because even if you leave them somewhere, sometimes they follow you. (example in my story Dad's Ouija)

If you have any friends who are mediums, have them do a walk through of your house. That would be your best bet, even a friend who has prophetic dreams might be able to help. For some relief (few days or so) repeat the priest coming in until you can figure out something else. Or use a smudge stick.

Also, this being sounds like its getting stronger, whatever it may be. How often are the attacks? Nightly? Every other night? Once a week?

I think by playing with the ouija board, you invited either the negative spirit or a demon to your house and it does attach to you. Just spray some holy water sometimes is not enough, if it is a demon (at least I think this way), you need an exorcist.

I thought that too but 3 nights ago I stayed awake. (being the workaholic I am I was studying for the asvab) and sure enough around 2AM I went to take a shower and noticed a fresh set of scratches (still in 3's) still bleeding slightly

Scary buisness best of luck to you and granparents and I scratch myself in my sleep even whilst awake without realizing... Just a thought

I have already tried that. A priest came and sprinkled holy water in the corner of each room. It stopped for that night but the next day it came back. Seemingly worse than before 😐

Probly demon because demons usally scratch you. You should call an exorcist or priest 😲

The three scratches make me think it's demonic but I can't tell you for sure what it is or isn't. I think you should have someone bless the house and see if that helps.
