Just to put in my two cents...

Saying hard ink can't be rewritten is like saying the mosquito always flies in a straight line. The bible has been rewritten more than once. It was nowhere near quite as sexist as it is now, as it had been rewritten to format society more strongly. For example, the original bible never said anything about discrimination against women. The oldest versions actually say to -respect- women. And yet, the bible we all know now insinuates that they are treated like cattle.

I know it doesn't defer to ghosts, but it's still a valid point; it HAS been changed over time, between constant translations and developments to the social norm at the time.

Scbsd: I in no way am attempting to start a fight, I am simply asking for a clarification from you, I understand what you say but I am going to pick at it. Are you saying, "the written word" doesn't change? Even though any person at the printing press could have changed it?, the monks of old could have written it to their own liking, "interpretation" of what they didn't quiet understand couldn't have been written into the black and white? I appreciate your attention to detail, and as you said, I have studied, and read the bible multiple times, and i, like you, "I don't believe in any of the Bible" the part that caught my attention was Satan's children, the... What did you call them? I guess "deceivers" or those that practice deception, so. Would every single, breathing person in the world, be the children of Satan?

Also, Javelina, why the f*** are you even talking to me? I wasn't talking to you. I had nothing to say to you.

I have nothing to say to you, unless you jump in and throw a bunch of your feces at me, in which case I will defend myself.

I advise you to keep your counsel and quit talking to me, and we'll both be fine on this site. As long as you keep on throwing turds at me, I will defend myself. Keep the turds in your hand and I won't even bother to think of you.

It seems pretty simple to me.

Javelina, you don't know anything about me and my relationship with any church.

I have studied the Bible, and it's not about "interpretation", it's about what is actually said. It's all there in black and white, and since the printed word never changes, it's not that hard to read it thoroughly enough to know what it says.

What the Bible says is that when people die they go to "sleep" until the resurrection. If you want I can give you chapter and verse on this.

Nowhere in the Bible does it ever say that Human Spirits wander or are active in any way. Other than the one passage in Samuel, where King Saul has Samuel summoned by a witch.

As follows:

28:6 And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.

28:7 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.

28:8 And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.

28:9 And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die?

28:10 And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.

28:11 Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.

28:12 And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? For thou art Saul.

28:13 And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.

28:14 And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.

28:15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up?

In other words, Samuel was asking Saul why he bothered him to "bring him up" (wake him up).

I don't believe in any of the Bible, but I do know it by heart, and nowhere in the Bible does it say that Human Spirits are restless or wandering around or causing the sort of mischief--childish or no--that the OP described in his story.

If you can quote the verse that contradicts what I am saying here, then please do. If not, then accept that it's not about "interpretation"; it's in black and white, and my assertion is valid.

According to the Bible, the Beings that interacted with Jesus-soldier in this story are not Human Spirits, and according to the same Bible, if they are not the Spirits of Human Children, and are acting like it, then they are intentionally deceptive, and according to the Bible, the father of all deception is Satan, and those who practice deception are his children.

Jesus_soldier... I think you FEEL that connection for a reason (I'm all about the guts) and after reading your comment "they were showing some love towards me" that's what got me thinking... There has to be a connection somewhere...

Cliney: Thank you for the input. I agree with Jav, that's a beautiful way to explain it. Our spirits are very special and different from our flesh. That could be true, because it feels like we have a close relationship.

Thank You Javelina...there's kind of another reason I thought it... I work with children and looked after a very special little girl. At Christmas she was taken illegally by her father to an eastern country leaving her mum in the UK devastated and fighting for this little girls return home. I think about this child often and a few weeks ago I dreamt I'd gone to visit her... (I knew in my dream it was a spiritual visit) I was reassurring her that she would be with her Mummy soon and that everything was going to be ok I gave her a big hug and she kissed my cheek when I woke I could smell her... And feel the kiss she gave me! I have since been told her Mum has gone to collect her. I'm hoping that when I return to work in September I'm going to see her again ❤

I like the way you think cliney. Nothing could be as sweet a thought as the one you just proposed.

I'm glad that's over. I don't think I could really leave you alone anyway. You're like a little brother around here. And you must know how I am about sticking up for family. I mean, you see how I am here, right? You can just imagine how I am in a face to face situation, especially involving family. I am hard wired in that sense. If you have ever noticed, most of my confrontations are in the defense of someone or something else, it's just my nature. That's about as simply as I can say it. I just want to throw an idea out there and it just came to me so perhaps I'm miles off but here goes... So obviously our spirit self is separate from our human self... What if these children spirits know you spiritually maybe remember you from a previous life and your spirit has come to this plain for a human experience and they visit/guide/love you from their spiritual plain... Hmmmm just a thought to ponder on! 😉

Jav: You have misunderstood me. I've read your comment multiple times, so I wouldn't misinterpret you. I have to say, your views of me are quite shocking, but I understand it's hard to read people over the text sometimes. I try to always state that my answers or questions are MY opinions and what I got from the bible when I read it. I bring honesty and if people want to shake their head or roll their eyes, then shake and roll. It's impossible to please everybody, I just try to keep it real no matter what. Don't mean to be intrusive here. However...

Just once it would be nice to see someone say what is, in all honesty, the real truth about what they are saying is in the Bible. It would be a refreshing break from the claims of absolute knowledge that so many are convinced they possess. These not so humble, and oh so clenched up, self proclaimed experts on all that is Biblical, have done nothing to provide proof for their claims of superior knowledge. No Doctorate of Theology needed when all you need do is state that you are right and others are woefully mistaken.
You want the real deal? Try using the honest approach. It is, quite simply, the best policy. Say something that won't cause other readers to roll their eyes and shake their heads for once.

~EXAMPLE:

"I've read the Bible and here is MY interpretation of what it says."

It may not sound as gloriously unbelievable as the alternative you have been using thus far, but at least it honest. And considering the claims made, a little honesty couldn't hurt.

Scbsd - guess I was way off the mark there and for that I apologize. I thought your remark would have created a lot more conversation than it did. Funny how that works out LOL.

Miracles, I wasn't trying to open any canned worms or otherwise stir things up with my question.

I asked, because up until that time, I was under the impression that Jesus_Soldier was a strict follower of a faith based on a literal interpretation of the Bible, and I wanted to see how that faith squared up with what was going on in this story.

I used to be a follower of that faith, and I read and reread the Bible in order to study it. According to the Bible there no Human Spirits wandering around on the other side of the veil, children or otherwise (the only Ghost mentioned is Samuel, and he had to be summoned by a witch at the behest of King Saul) and so according to the Bible any invisible Beings that interact with Humans are Non-Human Spirits of one sort or another. If they claim to be Human Spirits, then they are lying, and according to the Bible, any Spirit that tells lies is evil.

Jesus_soldier, thank you for answering my question.

Scbsd: I used to think like that. I thought the spirit world was black and white. I also thought a lot of stuff in the world was black and white. I finally realized that both worlds are not that simple. I'm not trying to say that the Bible is a lie, not at all, but I do know that God plans or ways are not 100% predictable. There is no telling what is going on in the spirit world or God head for that matter. God could have placed these children and other positive spirits around me, to cheer me up and keep me from beinb lonely. The point am trying to make, is that their are a lot of things that can't be fully defined in the spirit world or in the Word of God, unless your the Creator Himself. Thanks for reading though.

Jav: Haha, just a little bit. I have 2 nieces, a 1 year old and 5 year old. I don't get to see the 1 year old that much, but she finally got used to me. The 5 year old?, Oh yeah, She always lays on me when I watch tv. She will also ask my brother if she can go in the store with me. She will say " Can I go into the store with Uncle B?" haha. Don't get me started on random kids. They always smile at me, and a couple times, i've been hugged by them. I get caught off gaurd haha, and their parents would apologize and stuff. I don't mind though. I haven't had my hand grabbed too many times, but they sure do ask me a lot of questions. You know it's funny how kids come to me when i'm sad,mad, or whatever, because they always cheer me up. The neighborhood kids really like to interact as well. I can understand why I have children spirits with me. Thanks for reading my story though. 😁

JS: Great story, I really enjoyed this. Perhaps these little girls feel comfortable around you and enjoy your company. The way you described your arm being stroked or your hand being held makes me think they are really attracted to you and your kind nature.

And I also agree that there is absolutely nothing evil or 'demonic' going on here. They are simply two little girls having a little fun and seem to be quite happy around you.

Scbsd - you knew this was going to open a can of worms, didn't you? I guess I'll be one of the first, if not the first, to say how I feel about this.

I've had a little girl spirit/ghost in every home I have lived in for over 15 years. I've experienced evil a couple of times. I've been scared several times (those stories are on here). But these babies, these little girls, at least the ones that I've shared my home with, are not demons.

I've also been told by family members, friends, acquaintances, and people that I won't place in any of those categories that all children's souls go to Heaven. They do not stay here. You and a multitude of others on this site can sit here all day and tell me what you "speculate" and some can quote all the Bible verses they want. But you, and they, are not going to change my mind. You may change other's minds, but not mine. I've felt evil, Scbsd. I felt it in my soul. There is nothing like it. It's not a feeling that is forgotten or mistaken.

These little girls that I've lived with? I lived with them each for more than a day or two, or even a month or two. It was years.

I think there is a reason they are still here. Maybe it's a reason that is as individual as the person they share their home with. But they are here for a reason. Some of them do cross over. Others? I can't answer that. But the little girl in my home now? Evil? No 😆

JS, these are some amazing experiences. It really does seem like they are attached to you and like getting your attention. I don't think they are evil either, and I agree with granny about the nosebleeds. I used to get them all the time. Had my nose quarterized 4 times but it didn't help. Thank-you for sharing this with us and I look forward to any other experiences you may have. 😊

I can only speculate, but it seems to me, that according to the Bible, there are no Child souls adrift, and any encounters that you may have are demonic.

This is so sweet! Do you have any nieces and/or nephews? And do they hang on you like you were a jungle gym? Wait! Here's a good question. When you are out somewhere like a movie or amusement park, anywhere there are bound to be lots of families with small children, have you ever just been standing there in line when all of a sudden you feel a child's hand grasp yours? They don't even realize you aren't their dad or big brother at first. Something they sensed about you was safe and nice, so they just found your hand thinking you were someone else?
I ask because it happens to David all the time, ever since I've known him.
It shows a comfort level they sense in your presence, they don't even bother looking up, they just put their little hand in yours like it's always been that way.

This is just to sweet for words. ❤

Hey JS Quick question, you ever feel like you are not in your body yet you are awake and lucid? I know what you are feeling at times. Like the story, now I know what the criticism and fun was all about. I am not a strong writer but thanks for the critique. Miracles: I know right! It's always little girls for me and most people. I bet the little boy wanted Dalton to be his buddy. That's the only time I hear about little boys, is when they interact with other boys their age.

I understand what your saying. I don't sense any evil from these children. I think it may just be one of them with me now, but i've felt evil before, and it's very easy to tell the difference. I have no problem with them. I've thought about helping spirits before. I love to help people, so this wouldn't be any different. I'm comfortable with spirits now, and i'm cool with helping them move on. I almost put up a wall between me and the spirits 2 years ago, because I was always getting messed with. Granny: lol It really seems like it. I think they are pretty hard to help cross over also, because after I published my story, I asked her if she was still there and to please move on. I saw that same mist with orbs infront of me right after I asked. It was the size of a child. I got the feeling that she doesn't want to go, and the feeling that this little child really loves me. I haven't done an evp, but I think it may help me figure out what she wants and where she came from.

JS - oh wow, you could be reading from my Journal LOL. Little girl spirits, what is it about them anyway? Why little girls and not little boys? At least in my experience, since I've never interacted with a little boy. But Dalton has... A couple of times.

This is my opinion based only on the feelings from my heart and what I've experienced, okay? For what it's worth, and again my opinion only, I do not believe these children are demons. (Even though I was scared to death once before, but that's another story 😉) I've been told by many different people, of varying religions, that when children die their souls go to Heaven. They don't linger here on earth. I've been told that "we" can't cross ghosts over. I've been told all ghosts/spirits are evil, demons and are just tricking us. I've been told a lot of stuff. Some from people on this site, some from my friends and family members. I believe in what I know in my heart and what I feel from them.

I guess my first question to you, Brandon, is how you feel about crossing them over. Is this something you are thinking of doing and are comfortable with?

JS: I think you may be a child-ghost-magnet 😆...From some of the stories I've read and heard, child spirits are the most difficult to get to move on... And really, no spirit will cross unless they want to, in my opinion... Have you ever tried to do an EVP session?...You may be able to gather some info about why they don't want to go...

About the nosebleeds: I think that has to do with the raise in blood pressure as a result of the sudden adrenelin rush... Since you've become more comfortable with the paranormal, your fear of the unknown has disipated...
