Thank you for sharing, because of you I have posted mine thank you for helping me and I hope everything is going alright now.

You're not at all insane. These things are very real, and VERY dangerous. If you're going to go after it, make sure you kill it before it kills you. Make sure you know everything that's needed to know, then strike when the time is right. Watch that show Supernatural if you wish. I find that they actually do their homework. But if you're researching online, make sure it's real. I found quite a few sites that just make stuff up.

A lot of you seem to be demon hunters and none of you seems to be mages. Well I guess talking from a magickal perspective, you guys seem to be ill-equipped if you don't know even a little bit of psychic defense or magick as a whole. How are you going to make sure that you've killed the demon, what if you can't kill them with phisical weapons and only hurt them with magick.

For All those wishing to be a demon hunter, find a mage to give demon hunting a well-rounded approach.

That must have been the weekest demon I've ever heard off to kill a demon you must be an angel or god himself but we can banish them from this world but there are not meny that can do that there are some that studdy and hunt demons but there are not meny of them that survive or have there sanity left after to years. To hunt a demon you have to be born whit the gift and if you have that gift you woud have been contakted by the demon hunter sosiety before the age of 10

hey once I bet a demons... A shodowish black colored with black hooded jacket... It was so shadowish and black smoke everywhere... And you flash him with my flash light and I bet him to death, he was trying to get away but he couldnt, the lights would grab him everytime he trys to get away... So I bet him and he turns into fire... My house almost got burn down... This happen during the nights.

If you are truly persuing 'demon hunting' and this is not just an 'I'll get even with who ever or what ever is messing with my family', then I woul like to caution you. I am certain you have read some of the horror stories about those who begin to study demons or evil spirits, the occult, satanism, etc. That can then become drawn into the very subject you are studying and want to prevent or gain further knowledge of.

I have heard that some of the demons that haunt us still have been around for thousands of years. Keep in mind, the 'entit, or spirit' that can survive that long must be very powerful.

I don't think he means he's a professional demon hunter, more like he's trying to snuff whatever scared his family. I'd do the same thing. By the way, Paggark's comment, about your strength being your weakness, reminds me of Beowulf.

I never knew there were real life demon hunters before, I just thought they were in movies and shows but in real life never heard of it. I only know about shamans, wiccan, things like that. I don't mind becomeing one but my fears are the ones I cannot see unless I want to see what is there. My brother and I are sensitive mostly my brother he see lot of things that no one else can. Be careful with your demon hunting, because something stronger will endanger your family. Be strong your weakness can also be your strength.

Some people don't believe in demons, but they're real. If you're a christian like me, you know what I'm talking about. My family prays a lot so nothing evil ever happens in our home. It sounds like a lot of evil is going on in your home... So be careful.

Well shut my mouth! I had no idea that there were real life demon hunters. What a fascinating job! I'm going to go and do some research now, I never knew such people exsisted. Thanks for your reply, as wise and helpful as ever!

Lian, there are demonologist in the world still. Ed and Lorain Warren being the last I knew of that was sanctioned by the catholic church as such. Ed has since past.
A lot of people claim to be demonologist, but in truth they just claim a title for which they truely have no understanding. It takes more than reading a book or two to be a demonologist or angelologist for that matter. Years of study and a solid faith are also a part of becoming one. That is why I fail to see this young man as a true demon hunter. He claims he started hunting them after his very first run in with one. Not a wise choice to make as a true demon could do serious damage to ones mind and body should it choose to do so. Sorry again Joseph. I just do not believe it to be so. JMHO.

I would be very careful when hunting for things we do not fully understand. I would not go and search for demons or ghosts. It is too dangerous to experiment with the supernatural. Bad things could happen. I am not trying to scare anyone but these things are seriously not something to mess with. Stay safe. God Bless.

Hmmmm...You're a demon hunter? How do you know they are demons? If you've been hunting them for 7 years, don't you think it's about time you gave up? I have so many questions about this story, but I don't think any will make me believe what you do.
Really sorry, but if this story had no mention of demons, I might think it was just a normal ghost story (if there is such a thing?!), but I'm afraid I find it very 'sketchy'. Basically, not enough detail on the important stuff, but too much on the demon stuff.
On a seperate note, do demon hunters actually exsist? Can't imagine there is much of a demand for them? Especially not since the 15th Century!

Diabolus fecit, ut id facerem! Sorry Joseph, I only know of a couple of Demonologist who are knowledgeable and capable enough of hunting demons and I don't believe you are one of them. The Warrens were, but I do believe that one of them has since past and the other is in retirement. The other fellows name eludes me.
