White Buffalo, I read essiej's stories before yours, to tell the truth. I really like getting the different angles on this experience! An amendment to my last post: On top of burning white sage; frankencense resin made into popouri with bilberry blossums, heather, and lavender in every room may help. Just some suggestions I've been reading about. Sorry abouth the typos!

Thank you, jwhitfi. I feel a little deceptive every time I look at this story. This is all completely true from MY point of view. At the time of the writing though, I did not know there was sooo much more to the story. I have convinced my daughter to write her experiences at the same houses that I did and was in total amazement. She would not let me proof read any of it, and I believe I was as shocked as what it appeared some other readers were. If you would like the story from her point of view it is essiej 's My beginning. There are two parts, and they are not yet complete, but I feel better letting people know that this was just MY point of view.

White Buffalo,
I always seem to be a little late in the game... Well here is what I can throw into the pot: Whilr I cannot completely discredit the possibility of carbon monoxide and mold poisoning, I get a gut feeling that that's not the problem here. I DO agree with Shane charged crystals are a great help, I don't know what I would do without mine! You could also try glass orbs painted with silver paint and holy water at every entrance to your home(windows included). Whole bayleaves on window and door ledges/frames and blessed salt in the same places. On top of burning white safe frankencense resin made into popouri with bilberry blossums, heather, and lavender in every room may help. Just some suggestions I've been reading about.

And as a sidenote, I just got back from Orlando where I had dinner with Shamu, and several trainers, the degree they want most for animal trainers is Psychology. I was surprised by that, but, they said it was ture for ALL animal trainers, not just the trainers for killer whales. Hope this helps!

My daughter has very strong beliefs and is not the type to align herself with the dark side, she respects the spirits and souls of those that have gone before, so demons are out. She has done, and seen enough in her short life that she knows that there is a fine line that must be walked, but not crossed.

maybe it's your daughter, maybe she agreed to bind herself with the demon

There are a few ways to check for this. I'd start with a mental inventory of the symptoms and what was around when they happened. What was in the room/area and also what was above and below the area.

For example, with the toddler that became ill you mention a desk that she sat at to eat lunch. The obvious first question is: has that desk been in the area (or directly above/below) in any of the other instances? If not, then what was in the area near the desk when the baby was there?

Also, try asking your daughter and son if there is anything in the house that makes them feel uncomfortable. Working that into your feelings and what was around during the instances may help you locate the item (if it is an item) quicker.

Once you have an idea what may be causing it, you can test this by temporarily removing the item or having that specific item blessed by a clergyman of your faith. The better of these methods, in my mind, would be temporarily removing it for a while and see if the atmosphere of the home lightens. With you, your daughter and your son sensitive it shouldn't take too long to notice a change.

Confusing thing happened last night. We are in the process of moving, so therefore I had a good hold of my daughters dresser. It is empty as everything has been boxed up. I could not pick up the dresser. I tried several times before giving up. Granted dressers are not light objects, but I carried it down to the basement alone when we moved in. A freak thing or something else?

Hi do you think your psychometry can help to "look" at the energy of the items? Hope to read more from you dia, good point!

Interesting Dia. Actually, our family was going through a rough time financially while in the first home. She received an outpouring of items from the community. Mostly clothing items, a few nicknack's, dolls and a four piece bedroom set. As far as I know, with the exception of clothing that she has grown out of, all of these items have followed us to the other two homes. Is there any "safe test" or anything I can safely do to test this theory?

Great suggestion about checking CO and radon levels in the home. It appears, from your post, that the symptoms (dizziness and vomiting) have occurred in more than one house but it's possible that both had the same problem. Never hurts to check.

One other possibility came to mind as I read through the story - article affinity or possession (where an entity attaches itself to a thing, not a person.) Did you or your daughter receive any clothes, furniture, or toys/knickknacks at the time this all began that might be the source? Given that most activity seems to center around females, it may be something that feminine in nature but not necessarily so.

I am with girlscoutcookies and Ohiowatha. I don't know of, and really other than the movies have never seen anyone become physically ill from a spirit/entity. CO2 and mold can cause some of the symptoms. Mold usually causes respitory problems, while CO2 could cause the passing out and vomiting. Poltergeist activity usually does surround teenage girls, that are going through puberty and have or are experiencing troubling times. Though from your comment it doesn't sound as if she is too terribly stressed or worried about anything. Some of what you experienced does sound quite paranormal, but without being able to do a full investigation, I don't think anyone can say with a certainty that, that is what is happening. I am glad that you are using your faith to help you in these matters, but and I mean no offense, sometimes religion doesn't hold all the answers. Some times you have to be willing to go outside the box and find alternative means of help, such as you have done here. A native american medicine man/woman. Using charged crystals worn somewhere on the body. Something like clear or smokey quartz, which would work for all of your family. It is sometimes the little things that can make a big difference. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Peace, Love, and Luck be with you.

I first want to thank everyone who gave explanations and thought to this post. Nine years has been a long time to get some feedback from people "outside". Radon or CO seriously never crossed my mind. We've been to many doctors after bouts of illnesses and have sent a couple of guests too, but I am almost positive our bodies were not tested for these two things, nor our homes. "justknow" our pastor is in our home frequently for support, prayers and advice and has witnessed some small things. We have stayed in his home for protection on several occasions. The Bible is read frequently in our home and prayers are an almost hourly thing some days. When we have no clue what is going on, our Higher Power IS the first One we ask. Thank you all for your words for thought. Also, my daughter is working towards scholarships for college wanting to be a Marine Biologist with a minor in Art. Her plans are to open a tattoo and piercing shop while training dolphins.

I'd like to thank girlscoutcookies and Ohiowatha for pointing out that it is always preferable to find rational explanations first before jumping to paranormal conclusions. With all the paranormal content in the stories of this site, sometimes we actually forget about keeping our feet on the ground. I agree that ghost making people sick is a very rare things, and when it happens, it seems to be related to some demonic activities (which is *extremely* rare in itself).

That being said, I don't think whitebuffalo's problems are of the garden variety type. People being haunted seems to be a more complicated matter that places being haunted.

While I don't want to discredit your story at all, WhiteBuffalo, because I cannot speak to you and get greater detail, I must say that, like Girlscoutcookies, my first thought was that people simply passing out seems more like CO2 or radon poisoning or something. I maintain that you could be experiencing paranormal activity, as well, but I've never heard of "ghosts" making people pass out. Gas leaks and living near polluted areas does, though.

All in all, the only things in your story that I thought could not be explained by natural causes is your large husband being pushed UP the stairs by something. Fans turning SLOWLY, doors opening SLOWLY happen in even the must UN-haunted places. An insurance man asking who lives in the attic in no way suggests supernatural activity, for example. Cold rooms and electrical malfunctions are also not really solid enough to convince me.

I do, however, know what it's like to be so bogged-down with myriad details that, when written, they just sort of splurge out onto the page and don't carry as much weight when written as they do in your memory. That is to say, I believe you that something strange is going on, but it's sometimes hard to relay those sentiments in writing.

I would be very interested to hear more specific details about a few things rather than glossing over EVERYthing.

Thanks for the story and I hope your daughter is doing well.

Happy Halloween!

I've abandoned lurking to strongly recommend that you have your house tested for both carbon monoxide and mold.
The children getting ill in the house could be caused by higher sensitivity to CO or mold, which can occur in even new-ish homes.

Here are links to symptoms of exposure to CO and mold, not all of which manifest at once.
http://www.mold-survivor.com/symptoms.html

http://www.carbon-monoxide-poisoning.com/symptoms.html

It scares me a little that no one has yet mentioned this. I can't deny your creepy experiences, and I don't deny that there might be paranormal activity in your home. You've experienced some very odd and interesting things. But *please* check for mold and CO as well, just as a precaution. 😕

Further to the last post I would agree that you should try to take out the feelings of `stress` with your current situation. Maybe your daughter has or had been having stressful feelings in regard to her personal life... Possibly the stress caused by your current domestic situation and these occurrences has made any earlier underlying stressful feelings even more pronounced and that may only exacerbate the current malevolent activity.

Poltergeists thrive on the energies that are prevalent when people experience `stressful` feelings. Indeed malevolent spirits can feed off of such energies in order to `create` supernatural activities and disturbances. Taking the `stress` out of your situation can be like turning a tap off and you could well see an end to these disturbances. I hope so and I wish you all the best.

Hi WhiteBuffalo, It was great reading your story! I'm glad you already contacted me with the details, because it could have turned my hair white!

O' only your husband is the one without the "gift". You three must look like a landing-base to beings. I bet they want to make contact.

Time to get a peaceful home at last! Babylon had some excellent info. Make your home "light", and do you have a spiritual beliefe in which you feel solace? Those two things could help to empower you! I also hope you look into grounding meditations, and energy recall meditations. That is what ghost-investigators use to 'cleanse' after investigating nasty places. Meditation is like a muscle thought, fullest effectiveness has to do with use and skill.
However, if you listen to guided to meditation taught by someone skilled it can be VERY effective right away.

Have you asked your daughter what she wants to do with her gift? You said she is using it, so maybe she doesn't want to stifle it. If she wants to keep using it. Then look into spiritual mentorship for her. You have a Native American guide 'White Buffalo', so maybe she does too. I bet there are Shamen in your area that could mentor her and you. I hope you tag along too!
If your daughter wants nothing to do with those gifts at all then the only thing she can do is find out what she loves, and does want in her life and for her future, and pour her whole being into it. If she loves animals find a way for her to learn about them then volunteer, so she can get a volunteership/job at the zoo/vet office. If she loves painting then enroll her in an art class. We are looking for someway to challenge her and channel all that amazing energy she has. The more worth-while and fulfilled she feels, along with the decent good-care you give her, this will minimize the activity.

Your four year old. Even if you don't have enough time to write it down for us. Hope you record every detail of what he is saying about how to do "old things". And everytime he gives a prophecy. Keep that record. And make sure to not use your kids as 'counselors' for the issues. That will scare them more and exacerbate the problem for you.

Kids will follow thier parents essential tact on things. If you are overwhelmed and helpless in the face of your gifts and these hauntings then your kids will get REALLY nervous and start acting out. Don't use your kids as a sounding board for your fears.

HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, if you don't do this part then nothing you do will help to end this. You will have to find a way to live a full and productive life, with friends who care about you. Such as your healer-friend, replicate that. Outside of the mess, make your Self as fulfilled and grounded as you possibly can. You will have to grow and thrive despite it. In fact, that might be the only real way of getting it under control.

I hope that my words were clear and you could feel my concern and care.
I am sending good-thoughts your way!😊

It does sound as if your daughter (and perhaps your son as well) have been blessed (and cursed) with a gift. I am not sure what to advise, many of the other members on this site have far mor experience than I. My only suggestion is to try to listen, watch and learn. This to will help them to learn and adjust as well. Love them with, because of and in spite of this gift. They are truly the precious ones in this story and in your life.

I will say a prayer for all of you,
God Bless!

I agree with Martin also. Fifteen is prime age for paramormal activity. Is your daughter aware of the things that are happening? When I was 14 years old things that could not be rationally explained happened to and around me for about a year and a half, then just stopped.
Your case lasting so long seems like it will require a higher power to deal with this phenomena.

Whitebuffalo,
Thank you for sharing your stories with us.
I can't really add to any of the comments that have already been given. But I will tell you that I live very close to you and know the Goshen / Elkhart / LaGrange area very well having grown up in the area. I will find a way to email you my phone number so you can call if you ever need anything.
Martin can you help me with this?

mhmmmm,i agree with Martin, this one is going to need some thought, I really do sympathise with you, I have found that by (and I know it can be annoying) to leave a light on where ever you are it seems to stop their attacks, well it has for me especially at night, and of couse asking for protection from guides, angels or whomever your faith is. I actually turn on my camera when I feel a cold draft and snap pics of them, seems to only capture them when the flash goes off, but they moved out of my room when I did so I guess they don't like being photographed, lol.fear is a major drawcard as well, I know its hard to not be scared but have some faith that you are strong, I myself call on archangel michael, and I always feel empowered and protected. Call on what makes you feel safe. Try to make your house as light as possible, ie open all blinds curtains etc, windows, put fresh roses in every room, make sure you change them often tho. Play happy uplifting music, and just try not to dwell on what is happening or feel doomed, if you are religeous maybe recite "our father"they hate this prayer for some reason, I myself am not overly religeous, but I recite it before going to bed, and will usually hear a few bangings around the walls when saying it, but they eventually stop and leave me in peace for the night. I myself am working through my own "whatever they are"hauntings I know they are not ghosts as they have tried to suffocate me in my sleep many times, and have physically pulled my quilt of me, but they do not attack me when I sleep with the light on, and say the prayer and also ask archangel michael to protect me. Take care 😊

Ooohh this one will require our big guns. It does seem apparent that these hauntings are not tied to specific places, but that your psychic medium daughter is having problems with entities attaching themselves to her. I'll let our resident experts give their advices, and I hope they'll be more fruitful than your "alternative" therapist. Sorry to sound so dramatic, but I do think this will demand more than burning some sage.
