Hi all, I did do some changes on the site yesterday (ex: a new ordering menu for stories in certain sections, like "stories by countries", etc) I doubt very much anyone of you have been hacked or infected, try and check pages on the site without a cache version that may have been corrupted.
Usually it's the key combination Control - F5 to reload a fresh copy of a page on Windows, for others:

Tweed, Val & Miracles-
My problem seems to have cleared up. I have a hunch it may have something to do with some of the ads Martin is running. When they keep trying to load, like the "Magik Ability Test", it messes with my browser. Course, it could be a hacker to. I am stick stupid when it comes to this computer stuff! 😆
Val-
This is a great read. I have no doubt the twins were having a "visitor" but not of the boogeyman type. Grandma did good. When all else fails, chase 'em with a broom and send 'em to the river! 😆

val - very cool story:) I wonder where and when the thought occurred to someone to salt openings in order to try and keep evil out? Which leads me to wonder if Eric Kripke knew about this method first-hand or if he had someone like Aunt Sylvie?
As for Grandma drowning a man, that made me laugh 😆 It's funny how details in stories can get turned around LOL
I know a lot of people could and would say the twins were feeding off each other's fear, but I don't discount things children say they see/hear just because they are children. Sometimes children are far more reliable than adults 😐

Anyone else experiencing problems?
Tweed, since this is my story, don't worry about posting in the comments.
Try the suggestions I emailed you. Assuming you can read them.
Yes the 'contact thingy' goes to Martin. I'm sure he'll be looking into it shortly.

I've cleared the cache, switched browsers, same crap. I believe this is a personal attack. He may be doing it to other members too. I've sent a message to the site admin (I think that's what I did, the 'contact' page message box thingy)
Things were fine until I logged into YGS, now email and ygs is playing up. This, the day after a threat to hack, I don't think it's a coincidence.

Tweed, It's Val. I think the problem is on your end, as everything seems fine on this side. I can click your name and see your stories.
Have you tried refreshing the site? Clearing your cache of cookies? Rebooting?

Sorry to the author of this experience (Whowever you are I can't read your name, it's not showing) I'd post this on my own experiences but I can't click on them, or find them.

Hi this site has been hacked, either that or my account has. Could someone please click on my name because it's not showing for me, also my email account is behaving the same.
MOnty, BloodEMan, Donut, hwatever the F you want to call him. I really wish this site took a no tolerance approach. None of this needed to happen.

I particularly enjoyed your very evocative writing style. It brought to my mind the novel The Education of Little Tree by Forrest Carter. That book and author have a big following even though there has been controversy regarding the writer. To my mind his book was an atonement for his past. At any rate, that book is comprised of many incredibly moving/funny/intense vignettes and your beautifully told story was just as well written.
You should consider compiling some of your childhood stories and lore into a memoir or novel. I would certainly read it!
