Hi FRAWIN,
Could you do me a favor, please, and tell your wife she is one lucky lady?
No offence was taken to the warpaint remark. I was taken aback by the picture it created as I thought the same thing 😁.
Larry, one of the guys, said the image was just sitting on the top step, feet flat on the sidewalk (He was 6'2", that would be possible even though there are three tall steps out there) looking directly ahead, no turning of his head side to side. When Dad was in "fight mode" he became very still while he prayed for strength from the Great Spirit. We accidentally interrupted him on occasion and it was as if his mind was not where we were, he did not, or chose not too, hear us.
The most odd thing about the sighting of him is the fact that NO ONE uses our front door. All the people that come to our house use the back door or the sliding door as that is closer to the drive way. When first told about him, I was skeptical as why would he be there and not guarding one of the doors that are used? I still wonder about his choice of doors, but I figure he had a bit of help in deciding where he needed to be. 😊

For the record, we are fond of saying that we "put on the warpaint" in times of Fight or Flight. For some reason, we are not smart enough to run most of the time. I also am guilty of telling the children that I am going to send them back to the Indians when they are being... Well... (shrug) kids. 😆

Hi Shelby,
Whew, told you crazy things happen to us all the time 😉. I, too, think that G1 talked to G3 (in our home we have three with the same name, even though one is in Spirit form, so we just add the numbers to clarify who we are talking to and about) and told him that he needed to warn me. Or rather that he needed to warn his Daddy, G2. I will be totally honest here, my MIND jumped to something illegal, but perhaps the warning was just about the ghosties that enjoy our home and stayed on when the investigators left. All the information that we gained pointed towards accusations, not really anything concrete.
What I find most disturbing (well, aside from the fact that I now see things) is that all this time I have been impatient and wanting Dad to communicate with me, when all the time he may have been here already.
Just remembering that he firmly believed that once he would pass he would head to the Land of Many Summers and NOT return (He thought the world was too "cold" and there would be no reason for him to WANT to come back) had me imploring the Spirits to please let me see him just one more time.

You know what, though? Maybe in the future, and after checking someone out extensively, we may have another investigative team here. But I am under the impression it is no longer necessary. MY reasons for asking them in was to have proof that there WAS something here. They did agree that the house was active. But then, we have guests that will come in and tell us the same thing, so I do not know. At least now I know to be more cautious 😊

Once again whitebuffalo, howdy! Thanks for the clarification on that one. I felt out of the loop! I was so confused and now I'm not. Thanks for the speedy reply, amd I get it now! 😊

Hello again WB. I just wanted to say that I meant no offense with the "going on the warpath" remark. I merely meant that he was there to protect you all and if he had to kick butt on his side of the veil he was prepared to. We have Cherokee on my mothers side of the family and when she got fighting mad Dad would say she was on the warpath. In my family that was a figure of speech, nothing negative intended. Again if I offened you I`m sorry.

FRAWIN ❤ 😊

Hi Buffy. WOW! Thanks for sharing that info about investigators. I am always suspicious of everyone until you give me a reason not to be. 😆I guess being a single Mother for five years makes you leary of anyone. Mother's are very protective! I also would guess being married to a sheriff's deputy would make me this way too! But it was good of you to let us know about this happening and to be cautious if we were to ever have a paranormal investigator come into our home. I highly doubt that will ever be needed in my case. I definitely do not have as much activity, or as frequent of activity as you and your family does. I remember you saying a while ago in one of your stories the relationship between your Father-In-Law and your son. Your son is the one who warned you and I'll bet you anything it was your Father-In-Law who told your little boy to tell you. That's why his image was there on that day. To protect you. Unfortunately, you got more than you bargained for. We all make mistakes. This is how we learn not to make the same mistakes again. I believe in time and with the right people, things will get better or at the least settle down. I surely hope that things get better for you. Also, I do not believe your Father-In-Law to be a residual haunting at all. My daughter has seen her Papa a few times since he died of cancer and he looked just like he did before he got sick. She has even spoken with him in her dreams. Spirits do visit you in your dreams and what they say or do is just as important as if they were to tell you or show you something while you are awake. Thanks for sharing your story. ~Shelby ❤

Hello again Belle.
First we called the guys that were here (we nicknamed them "Three Guys and a bunch of Ghosties") and informed them that they left some things at our house. The one man that we talked to said that this kind of thing happens all the time...
With that red flag flying, we called the team that the one man came from. They are not listed with the Better Business Bureau, so we also called the first team of investigators as they could probably stop him.
My clue that something possibly illegal may occur was simply that my son had said a man with shades on his eyes would make it hard for us. To tell you the truth, I had this picture of a man with blinders on figuratively speaking, but then when I saw the sunglasses...
Maybe sometime in the future we will allow another team to come here, but I can assure you that we will not go into it this time blind!

Hi whitebuffalo, 😕 Wires crossed I think, my wires anyway! - You got in touch with the team that your investigator had moved away from, is this because the guys who were in your home crooked somehow, or you had an idea they were? Did your investigators come into your home knowing something bad could happen? In my first comment I wondered if you got a hold of the guys who actually came into your house to let them know that they had brought spirits into your home with them, sort of warn them of what had happened to you or could happen to the next clients. I thought the whole thing was an innocent mistake, something they weren't aware of. It sounds like the guys who investigated your house have liability for the way things ended up. What a bunch of rats. Maybe that's neither here nor there now, but it boggles my mind how nasty some people are. (My husband says I have too much faith in people, they're not all good souls and I shouldn't trust that all people have good intentions. After 20 years of being with him I'm starting to understand what he means.) Will you ever trust anyone to come in again, any other investigators? You are NOT selfish for wanting peace for your family and in your home. Best of luck to you. 😊

Hi WB, I would definitely disagree that he was a risidual. It is my understanding that if he were a residual he would be seen in the house you left in his cancerous form. He died the first day there and if he did appear in THIS house as a residual, I believe he would also be in his cancerous form. I am not a psychic and I claim no special abilities but I see him as a Protector. I believe that he knew or sensed what was about to happen (the team bringing in the "tagalongs")and he was there, ready to "go on the warpath" if he needed to. Take Care.

Hi FRAWIN.
The man on the porch was actually my Father-in-Laws image. What I am having problems with on that is that the description is precancerous and I was told it is not an intelligent haunting. I think I have to disagree, I think as he was so ill when we moved (He actually passed away on the very first day in this home) if he were to be a residual haunting wouldn't he be in the home we just moved OUT of?
I really did get a lot of answers from this team, but I also got a lot of extras too.

Hi Whitebuffalo. Your story was fascinating. You say that when the investigators checked the outside all they found was an old man sitting on the porch. Was this an actual man or your father-in-law ? I see your father-in-law as a protector. I hope you didn`t let those "investigators" come back.
I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. Take care my friend.

FRAWIN ❤

Hi Belle,
Yes, we actually did contact the research team that he defected from. I know, the word defect gives you a totally different feeling than the words branched off, doesn't it? (I can not, and I have tried to, find an appropriate word for the reasoning's as to his departure from that crew.) We let them know that we were not demanding anything from them, we were just wanting others to be made aware of his practices. We know that there is no way that they should be held accountable as he acted on his own, and with no backing from them whatsoever.
You know, it's just one of those things. We fully research doctors for our children, the insurance man gets a list of questions, when we choose a car we test drive it first. I do not know why I did not think to check him out. I guess I was just being selfish wanting so much.

Hi whitebuffalo. That was fascinating. That's something I bet not many have given consideration to - the paranormal investigators dropping spirits off without even knowing it! There will probably be a lot of people glad to have the heads up on that one, they'll be glad you did submit this. I'm wondering if you contacted the investigators to let them know what happened. You have a great support team to get through this with at home, in your neighborhood and I'm rooting for you, as well as everyone else in your YGS family.

Hello KimSouthO,
Thank you for your comment. 😉 We may band together, but we RUN together too. At times we even run OVER each other trying to get out of situations. I believe strongly that once your life path has been chosen for you, sometimes you just have to throw up your arms and palms to the Heavens and wait. Our blessings may not rain down on us as they did for our ancestors, but they do still come. We need only to wait for the Great Spirits timing.
Hi Ohiowatha,
thank you, too for your comment. You are all making me blush here lately, STOP! 😊 I did forget to say who the man on the front porch was, didn't I?
It would seem as if, since November 4 of last year, I have been waiting for someone to come to me that has never left me. The description was of my Father-in-Law in his pre-cancer years. The most chilling part of all of that is, though, that I took a photo of my husband and son playing horse in the living room. In that photo (I am going to be selfish here and not share) is a recapture of him also. It looks like HE is in that chair. No fog, no mist, it is as if the hands of time were rolled back for that brief moment and he was here in body for one more photo.
Thank you all.

As always, totally credible and intensely interstesting. Please, please keep me posted. Also, who was the "old man on the front porch?"

Thanks!

Whitebuffalo,
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us, and for helping to educate all of us! I am not certain I would know how and who to look for in an investigative team.

I would like to commend you and your family. You are a very blessed family to be able to count on each other, to be tight knit and deal with these 'activities' as a unit. That is a miracle in and of itself in this time.

I do hope that there is resoltuion to the occurancces you are experiencing and have experienced over time. After reading many of your stories as well as your daughters, I am convinced that your family is special and very blessed. I can understand that the blessing of sight and knowledge or preminitions is a very heavy responsibiity, but all of you seem to handle this with dignity and grace, as a unit. I can hear the pride in your family in your stories and descriptions. It is a wonderful revelation for all of you.

Please keep us posted as to what occurs.
We are all here for you at YGS
God Bless! 😁

Thank you Martin. I was not really sure about sending in this story as most of it is in the comments I have made as of late, but if we are trying to find truth in things, I thought perhaps someone else may not think the investigation process through, as we did not fully. I guess I went into it kind of blindly just trying to get a "quick fix" so to speak. Thank you for posting the story.

I hope you do not mind, and if I embarrass any one, I am honestly sorry. I feel I need to thank a few people from this site who I have been in regular communication with about this. I will be honest. I freaked out and started practically begging for help, and wherever I turned, these people appeared eager to help.

Thank you, Athena for your words that brought me to the realization that something was off with this new team. If I had not been so anxious to rid our home with the help of professionals, perhaps I would have waited for your response instead of forging ahead and creating more problems by ignoring the signs. Thank you for showing me how to open all of my eyes and to listen to what all my feelings meant.

Thank you, Anna and Lisa for viewing things for me and keeping up with my e-mails even when they were sent out to you both at two and three in the morning. The way you helped me SLOWLY work through what I was seeing and recording was perhaps the most patient and understanding way of teaching I have experienced in a few years. And I appreciate that you both took into account that my solitary practices did not mean that I had hit the crest of knowledge, just a few brick walls 😊.

Thank you, too Shane, for patiently explaining to me why and how these things happened. Even when I reworded the questions and asked you the same things several times, you still answered with the same understanding that I was struggling with this and needed support and more questions so that I could find some of the answers on my own.

Anyway, this is probably not the place, and I probably should have e-mailed you all, but I wanted to thank those who have so far helped. It was is much appreciated.
