I've read a number of accounts on YGS where really nasty things have happened to cyclists when they have either given lifts to ghosts or simply found them riding pillion behind them.

One thing for sure, I would turn grey overnight.

Like Jubeele, I've got the impression that her life tragically ended crossing the tracks, rather than just making her ghostly way home.

I'm thinking this way because your father apparently only saw her and gave her a lift once. Almost as if she needed to tell her story to somebody kind and decent before moving on.

Ajay, I wonder if that young girl met a tragic end crossing the tracks to get home. Does the bridal red saree mean she died on her wedding day or was she buried in her best clothes?

Your Dad was obviously a good and caring gentleman. I liked how he waited to make sure the girl got safely home. I think that's why her spirit approached him for a lift - she sensed that he was a kind person.
