No wonder your brother freaked out that last day in there! What can be more disturbing than having your house invaded by sth unseen and smelly 😊.

Then again, it's possible you were the ones invading so, good choice to pack and leave.

Great story and I totally believe it. The way you told this story just sounds veritable to me. I especially liked the part where Chris gets frustrated with the thing and yells out, "Oh Hell no! I'm getting so F***ing sick and tired of this S***!" This is EXACTLY how my stepfather reacted towards the end of our stay in a haunted house in Columbus, Ohio. One night, he saw a large black shadow looming over his bed and it was just the last straw in a string of recent supernatural intrusions and he just got really angry and yelled "what the hell is going on here?!?!"

I have felt at a few points in my life when dealing with this sort of thing, too. Recently, I've been having really intense and vivid dreams that something's grabbing my hands and feet and pulling me a few inches out of bed at night. I'm often awakened by what I feel to be a slap in the face, usually. I awake and can still feel my face tingling. Now, I canNOT be POSITIVE that these aren't JUST dreams and I'm accidentally hitting myself in the face while thrashing around in bed, but there seems to be a pretty obvious trend that these dreams end in pressure to my face. I suspect self-inflicted flailing could not ALWAYS be the case and that I'm being toyed with at night. ANYway, I recently got really sick of this and awoke yelling "Enough is enough!" So I relate to this feeling of frustration and, oddly enough, empowerment.

That is sooooooooooooo creepy beyond belief! It sounds like a story my friend's friend experienced once. What do you think the odor was? Was it something dying or was it someone trying to creep you out by coming into your house at night and living in the basement to scare you? 😨

That was a creepy story Metalhead! I bet your parents did see or feel something to but they didn't want to talk about it. I bet Chris was going crazy in that house.
