I wouldn't classify this as a sleep paralysis episode. On the contrary, I think it was a visitation and more specifically, one from a deceased relative. Maybe she saw that you had something in common? Maybe she meant to say she's watching over you? She could be saying much more if, after reading your stories so far, I put two and two together.

Did you ever find out who she is? I'd start from family albums if I were you.

I liked this story... It was a sweet and innocent experience but very believable... As Burnz said it definitely has the same symptoms as sleep paralysis but who knows if it was but the entity that was there had to be some sort of mother or nanny that either you have known, met, or lived there or that area at one time... It just seems to be looking over you and trying to keep you safe, did you ever consider that there was something worse around and this woman spirit was by your side so that this other spirit wouldn't be... Well just something to think about but I loved your story... I hope we can here more of your stories.

Pretty good story! Maybe the woman or female spirit was a mother that lost a child or maybe she's a relative looking over you. I've read and hear in many of these "sleep paralysis" cases all the cases are the same. Not being able to move of talk, but just look around or close your eyes and wish it away. I've only had things like this happen to me either when I wake up or just before I go into snooze mode. I actually had a little encounter this evening before I went into work. And I kept leaving where I had left off in the dream at the exact moment, but I'm sure you don't think this was a dream and what not. Thanks for the story though and God Bless 😁
