Do you know what 3:00 AM is? It's the devil's hour, when really evil spirits, ghosts, and demons come out.

That was one fascinating and really a spine-chilling story. I too believe that dogs barking means evil spirits are coming.

Btw, this would go great if I make a video about it! 😜

Dogs barking isn't always about the paranormal. We have people who are still up and walking around in the neighborhoods late at night, doing who knows what and the dogs can hear these strangers in the neighborhood. Dogs get scared too and will bark at just about anything unusual in the neighborhood at night. Maybe they could hear a thief breaking into a car or some other disturbance. Even the sound of other Dogs barking in the distance can make dogs closer to you bark.

Dogs can also howl if they hear sirens from fire engines in the distance. Now, someone in your house who did go to bed, could have gotten up and used the bathroom when you didn't notice. It happens. Also toilets can leak and sometimes seem to flush on their own because they fill up with too much water. But I think you may have had an over active imagination in this case. Hehe, using the bathroom seems too be something only the living find necessary. 😜

Very interesting... Did you see anything besides hearing the dogs bark? When a dog barks it means a evil spirit is near but when you hear a dog howl it means someone has died. things happen around 3 am because that's was when the "demon prince" awaken. His name for some people if Lucifer but, him and the devil are diffrent things. God = Heaven: Devil = Hell: Iasok = Spirte world: (not sure 100% for this one) Pon-sudi = Dream world

hi all. I am really wondering... Why do weird things happen mostly at 3am? When reading ghost stories, they usually dwell on 12mn. But for personal experience, most often it is at 3am.

Wow! The same thing happened to me but this was a long time ago like when I was 11. I am an internet freak too but I did not stay up late I was already asleep. The dogs woke me up like around 3:30am, Out of no where I herd walking into the bathroom then a flush of the toilet but no one came out. The next morning for breakfast I asked every one is they went to the bathroom but the all said no. It doesn't really happen to me anymore but I always stay up late anyway.

wow, sure is creepy. I've once sleep late because I'm a online-freak like you so I experience it at 4a.m. It's really creepy, so I understand. Now, like you too, I didn't dare sleep so late anymore. 😐

somtimes It's just you're imagination 😕.But It's a real ghost cause' the dogs bark. 😁 oh and by the way becareful of the number 666 (devil's number)

Well it is hard to understand why spirits show themselves more often at that time then at a different time. Some call it the dead hour. Others believe it to be the oppisite time of the death of Christ. I on the other hand believe this is when things are the most silent. Some spirits can not fully manifest because something is diturbing it. But since it is usually silent at this time nothing can bother when it manifests. This may be a dumb explanation and I know there is a lot of people who don't agree with me but hey! Its possible. I hope to hear from you soon and take care

wow, that use to happen to me, but I'm use to those things when I stay up late. When I was 10 I use to stay up until 8am because I was too scared to sleep in my own room. And one day I asked my brother why dogs barked at 3 or 4am in the morning and he said that spirits or evil spirits are around. Or in the neighborhood. And it was true.
One day I was upstairs looking out the window and it was 8 pm in the night (this happened last year) and as I was heading down I heard a dog barking, I thought a person was walking by and decided to look because I want to see who it is. Anyways as I looked I saw nobody there. And when I heard my mother call me I jumped so hard that I fell backwards and hit my head.

Wow Thats cool. I have a haunted house too. It gets scary at times. But I'm used to it. You should write more stories you experienced I would love to read them. 😊

I experienced that before! But its not at 3 am. Its a around 6.30am in the morning, when I'm in the living room eating my breakfast, preparing for school. I heard some noise from the bathroom too! Like people brushing their teeth, and the water tap opening and closing, and also the sound of somebody putting down the mug (for rinsing the mouth). The whole family was asleep, and because there is a need to walk through the living room to reach the bathroom, so I'm sure no one had woke up and went to the bathroom! I was scared the living daylights out of me! I also smelt some fragrance of a kind of flower. As a Chinese, we believe that plants are some time associated to spirits. I quickly burn some incense, and prayed. After that, the sound and smell had gone. It was a scary experience...

I go on the internet a lot too, but I also go outside a lot too, lol! Yeah and Francois is right, on the website a lot of people write down, this happened around 3 o'clock or 4.So yeah, I guess that's the dead hour!

I am also an internet freak but I don't stay up that late because if I do, my bigger brother will kill me! Haha! Anyway, this was a scary experience you had! I would have been scared a lot! Good to know you learned you lesson! Keep us updated if anything else happens!

I am also on the net at the wee hours of the morning. While I have heard of 3 am being the dead hour or witching hour I have yet to have anything happen at this time of the morning. Could you have some poltergeist activity in your house? Possibly. Don't know about the dog thing because dogs bark for all sorts of reasons. What amazes me is that it didn't wake up other people in the family. Toilets can flush on their own if the water is going above the fill level. Faucets running on their own can also be a pressure thing within the pipes. Not trying to debunk your event but there are normal reasons that can be valid before thinking it's something paranormal.

I too stay up late until 5am in the morning, thankfully I have never experienced anything. I believe you do have a resident ghost in your house. And since 3am is called the "dead hour" or "dead time", spirits increase in power in that time and that is why I guess you heard a ghost.

Wow!...Now that's scary... You know even I am an internet freak and I too stay up until late... Well where I stay, there's a big open ground behind... And few days back I used to hear a lot of dogs crying & howling exactly after 1.30a.m. Everyday!😐...And it continued for 20-30 minutes!...That used to scare the hell outta me!😨...But thankfully now it has stopped... And now I sleep peacefully...😁
