did you copy the description from wikipedia. It is almost word to word. The particular icon is in most hindu homes, so I am a little reluctant to believe this story,

very nice story but at the same time very sad. I feel sad for the 3 lost lives but happy that 3 got rescued because of manish.

That was a very good story. It's horrible that 3 people lost their lives because of the idol, however it's good that they were able to get rid of it before anything worse happened. Thanks for letting us read that.
