The only reason the Police did not call me was because they were trying to contact David's family. There was no family that cared about David. David always cried on my shoulder when my sister and him were in this crazy situation. As far as my sister and my hair standing up on my head, please realize that I called her after I saw David lying on a slab of cement that they pulled out for me to identify him. There is something about watching someone that died naturally or from an illness. But it's another experience to see someone that died because they had no reason to keep on living and took their life. By the way, I don't appreciate him leaving his girls behind. At first, it was his girls that kept him alive. But once my sister took the girls to Detroit, that's where he gave up.

And as far as my sister, I was so angry with her after seeing his body on that cement slab, I didn't care about her seeing him on Christmas Eve.
It wasn't until days later that it connected in my head. Even then, I kept asking her: "Were you drinking?" To the day she died, she swore he was there that Christmas Eve.

Thank you for your concern. Thank God they were so young to grasp the reality. But it took a few years for my sister to deal with the questions about when they asked when is "Daddy" coming home?
As much as I've seen and experienced in life, when it comes to children, cats, dogs, and animals, I am a complete WUS!

Thank you. I'm torn between his care for his girls, and his selfishness. During the time he was here in Phoenix without my sister, his entire life was his girls. Then one day he takes his life away from his girls. But, only he knows what personal pain he was going through.

Danny: WOW!...I think it was decent of the police not to contact you on Christmas day... That must have been a tough phone call to your sister... Specially with her telling you that she'd seen him... I bet the hair on your head stood straight up!...

That was such a heartbreaking tragic story. I am so sorry that you and your family had to endure that. I hope your sisters children are doing well.
