Noises are not quite so difficult to create, and they are attention getter's. Even ghosts that CAN NOT manifest can make noises. It would appear that noises are lower level energy actions, and therefore those who can not make themselves known by SIGHT can make themselves known by NOISE.
There is also another thought that those who do NOT "see" ghosts but can feel or hear their actions, has to do with how open minded an individual IS about encounters. If a person fully believes that there are NO ghosts, they more than likely will never experience one.
But if they do, watch out, because the experience is life changing.
I have SEVERAL questions for EmeraldAngel concerning the experience. As the encounter always happens at the same time, as there are noises as well as blanket tugging, there is the sight of a shadow, and as for her AGE, there are several possibilities as to what is going on there.
I would not rule out a poltergeist by any means. Recurrent Spontaneous Psychokinesis is most common around Emerald's age. However, I will not take a stand without that I have a mite more information.

It is ok whitebuffalo
I myself thought shadows were evil because I only hear evil things about them.
I have never seen one though.
But I have a question though.
If shadows do not have the strength to fully manifest how come this one is strong enough to make noise around EmeraldAngel?

EmeraldAngel, may I interject something here?
Shadow Beings get a bad rep because of their shade. Society has placed meanings with color, and for SOME things, that works out just about right.
Just because shadow people are dark, does NOT mean that they are evil. What it seems to point to is the fact that they simply do not have enough energy to fully manifest themselves.
It is like when you are listening to the radio when it is not completely on the station. The radio waves are a bit weaker, and you have to deal with the static (white noise) WITH the program. By moving the dial, you give the station more "power" by tuning into the frequency more and it comes in clear.
Shadow Beings can not come in clear, as they do not posses the needed energy to become a full bodied apparition.
I would suggest, while waiting to talk with a religious leader, that you check things out online. There are a variety of resources available that can explain things out a bit more for you. The following link is an excellent source.
The Devils Hour? He comes to visit you at the same time each and every night?
If that is the case, it sounds much more like a residual haunt, and NOT an intelligent one. In that case, there is no ghost present, only the remnants of the emotion that got stuck on the atmosphere where he is seen.
What do you mean about the house being too young?
Wa-do.
Please excuse the interruption, Rashidah.

Do not get mad at your parents. At the end of the day people will be people. Unfortunately some of them do not believe in ghosts.
It could of been worse. They could have placed you on Prozac π
It hurts I know when your own parents do not believe you. Sometimes people just are afraid to admit that there is a superbnatutral world.
Do not fear Jamie. I believe if he wanted to hurt you he would of done it a long time ago.
By the way do you read bible psalms?
My grandmother use to read them when I was small.
My favorite use to be psalm 23.

The problem is I'm too scared of Jamie. He's see through and I see shadows move around at night. And my parents like I told you don't believe me and probly think its a figment of my imagination. I'm a story writer and my main topic is about ghosts and its all fiction. My mom calls me crazy just because of denial she's not open minded.

Why wouldn't your parents be happy?
Are they not christians too?
Contacting a pastor should not be a problemπ
I believe it have some pastors on this site.
Take your time and type out all of your experiences. Do not rush.
I am sure that you will get a lot of help with this.
You can also try talking to Jamie to see what he wants from you honey.

Its some type of shadow spirit person. I call it Jamie and at night during the devil's hour it roams the house, taps walls, pulls at my blanket. I didn't sleep at all and stayed in the living room since of the watching is more intense in my room. I read the bible yelled at it tried to sleep still couldn't stayed up all night. I'm not tired at all... Just on edge it still roams even before devil's hour and follows ME its not the house the house is too young but when I have a sleepover it gives me space still creeps me out

Why would I think that you are a creep. Once you are respectful I will answer you in a respectful manner. Trust me.
I do not like judgmental people because I judge no one.
Lucifer appeared to me in the form of a beautiful tall man with milky white skin and dark thick clothing and hair. His eye color changes according to what energy he is in.

NO ONE DIED AND MADE YOU THE JUDGE OF MANKIND.
I am entitled to my own opinion. If that is a problem to you then I say again do not waste your time reading my stories. There are over two thousand stories on this site you may like.
I never discredited the Qu'ran. I still read it sometimes despite that I do not follow any religion anymore.
I hope this quenches your curiosity.

Apparently you did not read my comment correctly, there was no bashing/ discrediting of anything religion here... My concern is the fact your story speaking of having sex at 13 with someone you saw through a mirror, that, I think is perverted, a 13 year old in a sexual relationship (he became your lover). And actually you seem to be the one bashing everyone else religion. Telling them that what they have been taught is wrong... And my question pertained to you saying in one story that you use the Qur'an to fight evil and in this story you are discrediting the power you obtained from the quran to combat the obeah man. So who is bashing religion here.

I didn't realise this was your story,
Dude this is awesome,
I agree with you, Lucifer is not evil persay,
I I'm correct and I'm not a cristian at all,
The bible states that lucifer was sent to pergatory because he didn't love humans the way all the other love them (us),
Well how does this make the being evil?
I would really love to talk more about this,

Please message me I would love to ask more questions!

I believe that you can draw power from any holy book.
You better watch your language as there are muslims on this site that would not take to you bashing the Qu'ran.
So what if the Qu'ran actually helped me get rid of some spirits.
Why is that your concern?

At 13 years you became the lover a someone who appeared to you through a mirror? At 13 years? Are you saying you and Lucifer had a sexual relationship while you were 13? Am I the only one that sees someone totally perverted with this? Wow! I have read your posting about Obeah, and truly you are quite confusing as you said you used some reading from The Quran to combat the obeah so then, can you tell me where did the big obeah man got his power from and how reading the Quran protected you? If Lucifer is good as you have said then why is the big obeah man bad? Your stories have me really doubting you, in one story you say one thing in the other stories you are canceling out the devil/lucifer that supposedly gave the obeah man his powers... Hmmmmmm just saying

Thank you, Rashidah. Actually, you don't even need to find the book, you can just go to the website. They also have an "annotated" version of the Mormon Bible and the Qu'ran as well, if you're interested. I would pull up the website for you but they have it blocked here...π
I just want to clear up too, for some of the people who will be upset by what I've said. I am not calling any person out here. I'm not saying that Christians are bad people. I'm saying that the religion itself has been perverted by people over the years and the original message has been lost to most practicioners. There are a select few who are wholly good people, and I have NO issues with them whatsoever.
Buddha, Jesus, etc... These individuals--if they were in fact real people which I think very possible--were highly spiritual people who perhaps attained a level of inner peace that most people have never known because they truly believed in loving other people unselfishly and doing what they felt was right and just. THAT is something that I completely and wholeheartedly admire. To people who lives their lives by that example and don't go around telling everyone "God says this" and "you're going to hell for that"--I think you are GOOD people, and I like you. To everyone who IS guilty of telling people how to live their lives, really? Go get a grip on your own life and let others believe what they choose to believe. Is it personally hurting you because someone doesn't believe what you do? Even if they are still a good person, does it make them less of a person because they don't call your god "Father"?
I guess that's the point I was trying to make. I'm not trying to tear apart any religion, I only want to highlight that people who throw it in other's faces as a means of judging them likely have no idea what the actual meaning of their religion is. They're only parroting back what so many other ignorant people have taught them, instead of thinking and learning for themselves.
Let's learn from our mistakes and move on, as they say...don't let history repeat itself.

You have spoken as a True Scholar and Researcher π
I have never read the Sceptics Annotated Bible. I really thought I did read all the versions of the bible. So I will look for the book. I thank you for the reference. I like when people use reference materials for thier research. I read a lot. Sometimes late into the night π
I too believe Christ exist. But I only believe in him as An Ascended Master and not as a god.
I say Ascended Master because while he walked the earth he taught people how to love and live peaceful with one another. And those are priciples that I believe we should all follow. Not condem people to hell because they do not believe in thier religion. That is sick.
And I stand by my word. Lucifer is not the devil.
Before the christain religion got strong holds, Lucifer was reverred as a being of light and wisdom. Please do the research. As I may borrow a phase from ghostgirl, 'google it'
I thank you for the post.
I really appreciate it.

Rashidah,
I have taken time that I normally do not take to read most of the comments posted in response to your story, and I hope that you will take a moment to read my thoughts as well.
Firstly, I have to say that I find it ironic that when someone tells about an encounter with Jesus or an angel, so many people reply with "praise the Lord!" and "he is always with you!" and so many other pleasant comments. But the moment someone posts something as unorthodox as an encounter with a major name such as Lucifer, suddenly you're crazy, you're schizophrenic, you're a heretic, you're a liar. Ironic indeed. Did God not create Lucifer? If God is all-powerful, all-knowing, could he not have forseen "Satan" rebelling and taking with him a legion of torturers that would forever tear humanity apart with their disdain for everything good? Could he not have prevented it with a simple flick of his wrist? Don't tell me this is all a test. When you get married to someone, do you beat them, hurt them, break them and subject them to as much torment as possible just to see if they love you? NO. That would be considered inhumane and barbaric. So why do people think it's okay for deities to do it to us and consider it an act of love?
What I think many people fail to realize is that Christianity hasn't maintained over the years as well as it has because it is still based on truth and love. It is based on fear and political control. The original teachings MAY have been all about truth and love, but the message has been perverted by the people who wrote and rewrote parts of the Bible to keep the masses who believed in it under control. The Bible is historically incorrect. That is a fact. If there is anyone who would like to contest me on this, do yourself a favor and go read the Skeptic's Annotated Bible. The Bible has been rewritten countless times and filled with stolen lore from other religions predating Christianity. If there truly was such a man as Jesus (and yes, if the Bible is correct, he would have been from the Middle East so he would not have been a white man), I believe he was a spiritual man who wanted people to lay down their arms and unite in the name of God. If he was a real man, he was just that--a man. Is it not possible that by saying he was the son of God, he wasn't saying that he was the ONLY son of God... Perhaps he wanted us to know that we were ALL the children of God, and that so long as we did our best to be good people, we could all know his love? But over the years, we have twisted the message of peace and coexistence into one of "do as you're told or burn in fiery anguish for all of eternity!". That is a method of control. The Bible plays out like the perfect epic novel: the antagonist, the protagonist, the martyr, the bloodshed, the magical things God does that people accept as "miracles" and yet burn humans labeled witches for performing similar acts.
I am not on a crusade of my own against Christianity, but I DO encourage people to do their research and understand what their religion is before they throw it in other people's faces. Personally, I cannot follow any organized religion because it's essentially the same as subscribing to a political organization. While the ideals may be correct and the general focus may be on good intentions, the people will always want more power, always reap more corruption, and always seek to fulfill the momentary needs of human nature. It's the unfortunate flaw of the human condition, to be imperfect and subject to the demands our condition seeks to meet.
Anyway, I digress...Rashidah, I think you're a very intelligent individual and I don't see any reason to suggest you are afflicted with mental illness--not that I'm an expert on such matters; that is just my personal opinion. I see no reason why you could not have been approached by Lucifer or an angelic being bearing his name. What makes this encounter particularly believable to me is the fact that he seemed to want to bring you knowledge and to teach you to have an open mind. This, of course, is a concept wholly eligable for reproach by most churches because true followers of the Bible understand that it demands unquestioning loyalty and worship. It seems practical to me that the men who wrote the Bible may have met such an entity or "lesser god" as one might call him, and demonized him--labeled him the Antagonist because his encouragement of humans to employ their use of free will and free thought strays from the demand for unquestioning servitude in the doctrines of Christianity.
That is where MAN has taken free will from the practicioner. Not the deity, the HUMANS who wrote the Bible.
Rashidah, I think you hit the nail on the head: the Bible is subject to criticism, every bit as much as every other religious doctrine or literary work in general. It cannot be the word of God because it was written by men. Who's to say that all of Christianity--the Crusades, the rapes, the murders, the pillages, the drownings, the burnings, everything horrible that ever happened in the history of man since the invention of Christianity--was not because every follower was misled by men with wild imaginations, or men possessed by "demons" to write these things as the Word of God?
I know this will upset people, but I believe I have a right to share my opinion, since so many others feel it necessary to shove it down other people's throats. I don't think anyone has a right here to tell Rashidah that her experience wasn't true, because no one else was there to experience it with her. Reality is relative, anyway.
Do I believe that Rashidah encountered THE Lucifer? Well, I will tell you this much: I don't know, but as another poster said, I don't see why not. Is Christianity or Islam or Buddhism or any other religion the "true" religion? I don't know. In my mind, all paths lead to the divine, as long as the heart of the individual is good. I know there are people here who mean well and others who just come to criticize. The bottom line is, people:
WE DON'T KNOW.
We can only support each other through our experiences.
Thank you.
The Key of Solomon contains all the spirits he claimed to keep under control from a ring given by God. The ring I believe was a five pointed star.
I do not know how true that was but I know The Catholic church banned the book from entering the bible as we know it today with the 66 books.
I personally find that the book is very spiritually abusive.

I would never talk down to you like some of the people on this post. Yes, I am a Christian, however, I am no better than anybody. After reading the Bible 3 times you can see that Jesus would've never talked down to you like some have. He would've just given you a parable. You know what I mean. He would also say "Those Without Sin Cast The First Stone." He believes that we all deserve his blessings, not just some of us. You never called upon Lucifer, right. He came to you on his own. I am pretty good at looking at the true heart of a person & I feel that you are a very descent person. You have a pure heart. I am glad that you are considering what I said before. I respect your beliefs. I want you to be safe, alright. π

Hello Rashidah,
I have seen ghosts & things that I believe are demons, never Satan, himself. Sounds like you must have a very strong connection with the paranormal. Not many people actually have seen & had a conversation with Lucifer. Look, I know that you don't want to hear any Christian preaching, however, if you know anything about the Bible you already know that Lucifer (Satan) comes to you as an "Angel Of Light"trying to trick you so you will follow him. Do you remember how he tempted Jesus? You must not give in & be strong. I know that you are probably going to get mad at me, I am willing to take that chance. I know Satans tactics & you need to believe me that he is not good at all.
I always wondered to myself, if Lucifer got rid of his foolish pride & asked God to forgive him for trying to be better than him, would God forgive him & deliver him from Hell, if he repented with a sincere heart. That's just me, since I am a very forgiving person. Satan doesn't want to be forgiven though. He is not even close to being as powerful as God. He wants to collect all the souls that he can, so in the end he will think that he won. He doesn't care what happens to you, or any of us. He is a falling Angel that was banished to Hell, why would he care about the your destination when your time comes. If this gets out of hand, you need to command leave in "The Name Of Jesus Christ." If you can't get rid of him, get your church involved. You did say that you used to go to church, right? I know that you are not a Satan worshiper. I also don't believe for a second that you are going to Hell for talking to Lucifer. You never asked for any of this. Trust me, he is not your "Guardian Angel." Tell him to hit the road. I don't understand why we are constantly being tested. We are only human so we are going to go through a lot of trials before we get it right. It is very hard to follow the right path all the time especially in this day & age. Deep down you know the truth & what is right. Eventually he will show you his true colors if you decide to keep him around. Take care.

Rashidah, you MUST stop talking to this "Angel" immediatly! He is not anything good! If it is in fact Lucifer, you are going down a dangerous road that will only lead you to Hell! I hope that in the time since you wrote his stroy you have changed your ways and found God again. Also, Muslim is not an appropiate way to worship the Allmighty God. Christiany is the one and only way to worship God.
Yes, Lucifer may have once been good, but the fact is, he tried to be better than God, and that is impossible, for God is perfect. Lucifer is evil and would not run around with a simple girl.
Stop being a Satanist! Worship God and repent!
May God bless all his deserving children

That is true reds. At the end we will all know what is the real truth. What may work for one person may not work for another. That is why I believe that there are so many religions on this earth. If one was complete and perfect then the whole world would of agreed to follow it without hesitation.
I saw a show with Oprah saying that there are many ways to god. I do know how true that is.

Okay, now I understand. Well we can all agree that if we knew what was really right and what wasn't we wouldn't be so diverse in our religion and other ways we view spiritally. Safe to say that we might not have no common ground here- but we all have respect for it.

I promise non of what I say to you is out of ill will. Bless you & yours.

Some Christians unfortunately are paranoid about the enemy. I am not. And some Christians who... Well believe they are Christians, do not really know Jesus on an intimate level. When I say "intimate" I do not mean in a sexual way. We all have intimate time in many different ways. Like for instance I believe the moment of one murdering another to be quite intimate. No? There are many times when we feel lonely. When God created Adam, He said that this man needs a mate & created Eve. Now right there its interesting to me that while Adam walking the earth that God made for him WITH GOD, how on earth could he be lonely or need any thing more than that? I think the Lord created us to require a counterpart. Another to bond with on every intimate level there is. I think of the movie "Cast Away" starring Tom Hanks. Didn't he make the volley ball have eyes, nose & mouth? Even hair! I think, because we all need human contact. In all ways. As well as spiritual. Human contact can heal & cause many feelings & yes, cause even death at times. But we need it, we get lonely, I believe. Even when I was a young Christian, I don't mean a child because I grew up in the church a pastors daughter, but I mean when I was younger than I am now & could really grasp the concept of walking with Christ on a more mature level but still "NEW". I felt lonely. Still do at times & at those times now I cling to the Lord. Never will I let the great deceiver cause me to cling to him. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Bless you & yours. Respectfully,
Lotus S. Dust

Hey red, rash guys need to be careful with how you say things. *I* know your teasing/jesting/poking fun; but others may misinterpret what you are saying and take offense.

I prefer to leave the rest of it to a more suitable audience who are familiar with him and can advice me on what to do now. So I am done now with this article about Lucifer on this site.
But I thank you all for commenting despite the drama.
But I am moving on now to other more reliable sources.
I Thank You All. Really appreciate β€

Excuse me, Red, but the reason I repeated was so that I was perfectly clear on the whole "all is forgiven" thing. The discussion was happening on two separate pages, and I did not want to leave any room for misunderstanding AGAIN.
Rashidah, thank you for the conversation, discussion, and allowing me to understand what I was having a problem understanding. I appreciate your openness.
Galvon... I do not want to repeat myself, but thank you, too. You helped me see something that was unclear up to this point. You also helped me make up my mind.
Wa-do all.
