So, Zalwang.
Since you yourself are human, by your own definititon you are a lying, murdering, rapist scum who currently lives in hell.
Genesis 1:27 So, God created man in his own image and likeness.
So you believe all of these things are traits of God himself? You say all humans are such, and since we have been created in God's image, then God is all of these negative things.
The only way you can deny that you are not all of these horrible things you acuse all of mankind of, is if you say you are not human... And quite frankly, that works for me... You are indeed a lesser species.
Lou

Hey Lou!.
Over here! Not elusive, just watching the posters pass by. Nice spot to rest the brain stem, if you've got one that needs a break. You couldn't ask for better scenery, that's for sure.

Zalwang:
I tried to ignore this, and now I can't. I take offense to being called "scum" and a rapist, when I know I am clearly not. And though you did not name me specifically, you salid all humans were, so it does end up involving me. I have several colorful names for you, but I'm biting my tongue.
I think your pastor is the one telling you all the lies - humans are not all scum, nor are we all thieves, liars, rapists, bigamists, the list goes on. I refused to be generalized by a Sunday school teacher. Especially when I can't say I believe in your god to begin with. ((Oops, there I go again, apparently I'm going to be stuck on earth, in Hell, for all eternity. Who wants me to haunt them?))
The news has been saying that the Church is losing followers. They don't really give a reason why, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it's got two things - in today's day & age, people aren't being scared into action by the church, and those that would convert to them are being scared off by Sunday school teachers who think that they have the right to condem everyone else to Hell. The priests at my dads church love talking to me about my beliefs because they are not of the norm, and I enjoy explaining my ideas to them. We learn a lot from each other, and we get along. Why is it so hard for you to do that?
Also - on the not of real Christians not believing in ghosts. My whole family is French-Catholic. I have never seen more Christians in one room that have been haunted by ghosts and that believe in ghosts, in my life. Then again, my family is huge. I'm sure a few of them would love to hear how you say they're as good as burning for believing the experiences that happened to them.
With that, I'm off to work. I'll check bAck later this afternoon.
Penny.

[at] johntravis28,
You are absolutely right. This is a troll, with a twist though, this one is desperately trying to get someone, anyone, as many as possible, to engage in a religious debate. We're dealing with a person who has one of two goals in mind:
1) To get as many people involved as possible and start a major flame war over religion, with the ideal outcome being a relaxing of the current guidelines. That would open the forum to all kinds of craziness and confusion. Once that happens the remaining guidelines regarding other subjects would then be expected to be relaxed also, you know... Just to be fair.
2) As in #1, start major flame war with as many participants as possible, leading to the inevitable name calling. At which time the word "hypocrite" gets thrown into the mix in the hopes of inducing a guilt feeling across the boards which, of course leads to the relaxing of the set guidelines AND the potential banning of the people seen to be the biggest thorns in their sides, etc...
It really drives them nuts when they try so hard and no one takes the bait.
So for me it has now become a spectator sport.

Zalwang: There you go again, throwing stones...You're talking out of both sides of your mouth...You're a Christian, but you're not...You're telling us all that the advice we give will send all these people to hell, (but there is no such place according to you) and we shouldn't give advice at all since we're not God... Tell me, are you one of those who think they're a higher being than the rest of us?...That you have some inside information that the rest of us don't?...
Please try to get your thoughts together in a cohesive manner before answering these questions... Your randomness is causing a lot of confusion...

You can write these definitions for me but if they are not from bible then it's like speaking to wall. I'm not saying that they are not true I'm saying then they are not completed.
Just what do you mean by the above? Are you trying to say we do not know what we are talking about? Yeah sorta.
Any advice I have offered is with the best of intentions and a willingness to help others based on my personal beliefs and experiences... No more... No less.
Humans are scums they tell lies, they kill, they rape.
It's cool then your intentions are good but your not God and you don't know what is best for them.
So before you do anything pray god that is if you're real christian.

Zalwang,
Now I'm even more 'confused'...
Let us start with a definition of the word christian...
Christian: 1) Believer in Jesus Christ as savior - somebody whose religion is Christianity
2) From the teachings of Jesus Christ - based on or relating to a belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Messiah, and acceptance of his teachings, contained in the Gospels - relating to Christianity, or belonging to or maintained by a Christian organization, especially a church.
So based on this it is possible to be a "sabbath school teacher" and not be a Christian... You may be Jewish, you may be Muslim... Neither of these religions believe that Jesus Christ was the 'Son of God'. I'm sure there are others but those are the big 'TWO'.
You say...
"Your belief in God makes you a christian. But what is belief?" That is a very good question indeed. I'm not sure how to answer it... I will try however... Definition Time...
Belief: 1) Acceptance by the mind that something is true or real, often underpinned by an emotional or spiritual sense of certainty. A belief in an afterlife.
2) A statement, principle, or doctrine that a person or group accepts as true.
3) Faith in God or in a religion's gods.
So a belief does not have to be action based... Just because you 'believe' in something does not mean you must 'act' on that belief.
Now FAITH is action 'based'...if you believe in 'GOD' and have Faith in his word you will share this by your actions and deeds... For some going to church and being a "sabbath school teacher" may be all they are 'called' to do.
Let's put this aside...I'm more curious about this comment from you...
"And good work on helping them if you want to sent them streight to the hell.
And by the way since when the truth is rude?
All what you guys know about is lies you can't help people with lies can you?"
Just what do you mean by the above? Are you trying to say we do not know what we are talking about? Are you implying that we have 'bad intentions' for the O/P?
Any advice I have offered is with the best of intentions and a willingness to help others based on my personal beliefs and experiences... No more... No less.
Respectfully,
Rook

Ok Ok so it is like this. I am sabbath school teacher so does it makes me a christian? Of course not. I read Bible. Does it makes me a christian? No.The question is what is that makes us christians? Is it the name of our churches or is God. Your belief in God makes you a christian. But what is belief? Usually people think then it is reading bible and going to church. It means accepting God and you can do that by proving it with your words and actions. Because belief whitout actions is dead. That means I am hypocrite. I am hypocrite who talks about God and who doesn't prove it. So I am not a real christian I am only christian in the words. So is that what you wanned to here? Because I hope it is not.

taz,
Don't you fret yourself one little bit hun. You can always throw the blame my way, as long as you share the chocolate (It's my weakness you know), I'll back you up any day! And be proud to do it too.
Now, what kind of treats did you bring tonite? Anything that'll go well with vanilla ice cream is tops with me.

Just standing here with my back to the wall, hands clapsed in front of me twiddling my thumbs as I whistle an off key tune...
Let's make this easy...I'll copy the posts that are being refered to...
Zalwang it started with your comment on 29May11
"Wait! Who of you belives in Bible? I want to hear simple answers answers."
You went on to post a bit later... But before me...
"Christian oh please I have never been a real christian I know everything about Bibel and all that stuff but no I'm not real christian.
And good work on helping them if you want to sent them streight to the hell.
And by the way since when the truth is rude?
All what you guys know about is lies you can't help people with lies can you?"
Then I was able to post...
"Zalwang,
Ask and ye shall receive... (Quoting You):
"Wait! Who of you belives in Bible? I want to hear simple answers answers."
I stand up and say I DO!
I am an Ordained Teacher and High Priesthood Holder in my Church. I believe in the Bible and all the Teachings of our HEAVENLY FATHER and HIS SON.
Is that simple enough for you? I have also read your comments on the other experiences and I second taz's comment "you say you are a Christian and yet here on this experience you say your not... Which is it? Are you or aren't you?
Respectfully,
Rook"
I then invited this portion of the discussion be brought over to one of my expeirences so that the O/P could receive feed back on her experience and we could have this 'debate' here on one of my experiences. So there it is, feel free to review the comments from Lady_Nights experience but the conversation has moved here... Feedback please...

Hell is this earth at least that's what I think. In that kind of way I agree with you hell isn't a place in the middle of this planet's centre where is fire and where people are being tortured.

Maybe it was you in a past life, but a projection from the area itself. It is said that we can leave imprints, so maybe in a previous life you left an imprint, and when you returned, the land projected you, but only your friend could see it for some odd reason. Just an off the wall thought. 😊

SpiritMagnet/faerielike,
Thank you both for the comments and well wishes.
SpiritMagnet- You bring up a good point, but I was, and still are, clean shaven... Unless it's a week-end and I've 'skipped' shaveing just to be a bit lazy. 😉
'Tom' seemed absolutly sure he saw me. But as I didn't see anything I really do not know what it was that he saw. I do know that this area was part of an excavation and that at the time we were looking at it there was no work going on and no one walking upon that road. Our Guide had mentioned that there were so many archological areas that they worked them on a rotational basis so that they didn't close any one street or area for to long at any given time. So who knows what my friend saw, a projection of myself... Me from a past life... I just don't know.
Respectfully,
Rook

Thank you so much for sharing, my condolences for your loss and I sincerely hope that your belief of the reason behind it is correct. I would like to ask, though, do you have facial hair and how much? Sometimes people look VERY similar to one another due to facial hair color and/or abundence. Is it possible this man, from a considerable distance, looked extremely like you in order to help your friend associate him with friendship or something positive? Maybe. Spirits are just like those of us who are living, only they know why they do what they do. All we do is speculate and observe. I hope you find the answers you are looking for. 😁

That was a great story! I really enjoyed it a lot! I have no idea why your friend saw you, that is very strange. Maybe it was a Doppleganger, or maybe a spirit imitating you, or maybe even an ancestor?
It is awful to lose a child after so much waiting and expectation! Maybe that is why you saw her before she was born.
I hope we get to hear more stories from you! ❤

DA,
That may be possible, but I don't recall pictureing myself walking on that road during that timeframe. (I could have, I just do not remember doing it.) I was so much in awe of the History of the City. It was amazing to be able to see the layers of the city across time. It was like looking at the Grand Canyon in places but instead of rock layers it was city upon city. (not sure if that makes sense.)
As far as my Daughter goes... And I will attempt to keep this as 'netural' as possible... Christian Faith's believe in the Resurection, a time when your body and Spirit will be reunited and judged. In order for that reunion to happen a Spirit must recieve a physical body. So in our case, or the case of my Daughter, her Spirit was so Special that all she needed was a physical body to be formed... We all know how that happens... Then sense that was all that was needed she was 'Called Home'. I hope I made sense and that I didn't offend anyone.
Thank you for your well wishes and please keep the comments coming.
Respectfully,
Rook

Rook, I'm so sorry that your daughter Patricia Ruth was stillborn. Perhaps when you were looking down the time shaft with your friend, she recognized your spirit and wanted to join you so badly that she tried to be born to you in this lifetime. After all you knew her name and gender and that your wife was pregnant. I think you recognized her spirit also.

Thank you for sharing your story, Rook. I'm not sure what your friend saw of you initially, but I wonder if it was perhaps a mental-meets-Astral thing: could it be that you were putting yourself in that time frame mentally, and he somehow saw your mental projection of yourself walking down there in robes?
As for your baby, I'm so sorry to hear that she was stillborn. Still, I think in some way, someone was telling you that you were going to have a girl and what her name was.
Blessings,
DA

Had to kick my lawnchair aside for a minute. I'm back, where's my umbrelly drink? Let me know if you need any sunblock, Red...don't want those freckles connecting.
