And by the way... Why are you turning me into a frog? ANOTHER thing, how did we get talking about frogs and blondes?...GINNNYYYYYY!

Cosmo good to hear from you also! Yeh the banning of halloween costume stores websites is a bit much don't you think? I would be having a word to the boss, you know put your foot down girl! Lol. I tried that with my boss and he said deal with it or your fired ahaha that's when I shut up!

Just make sure you don't purchase any haunted objects at these yard sales you never know really do you?

Daz, you know how those spells sometimes just go wrong. I might have mispronounced a word or two. Noticed the lighter hair color on facebook, but truly didn't think anything of it! LOL!

Cosmogal, I had that personal gain thing covered. I was going to split it with the LBC!

cosmogal - I have to admit that I have NEVER been to Swap Days. Isn't that awful!? Sounds prejudiced of me, doesn't it LOL. I just have no interest in walking around for hours and not finding anything. I am going to take pictures, though. I'll put them on fb too.

Hi Darkness, I have to echo the others and say we miss you at the Bin. 😢 But I understand about these companies blocking everything. My company especially has gone block happy. I went online to one of my favorite Halloween store sites to check out the costumes and it was blocked... I was like huh? 😲 I couldn't believe it.

Miracles that swap day sounds great. I love flea markets and gargage sales, but I have to be careful. The people well "hipsters" in my neighborhood are not very clean. There apartments and things are infested with bed bugs! Eeek... Don't want to bring none of that home with me. Nuh uh...

Darkness, don't feel alone. We are being watched at work now too. They just haven't passed that "facebook law" yet.

Some of my co-workers have "unfriended" one of our bosses, just to get around that because he is watching us on facebook. I, however, have stayed friends but just don't chat on facebook. That way they don't see that I'm on it unless they happen to walk by and see it on my screen. Which does happen upon occasion, since I sit right out in the open! Oh well, gotta do what I gotta do, right?!

Granny, speechless Aussie? So my spells are working, huh?! LOL

Can you see me rubbing my hands together wickedly and hear me cackling?! Imagine the wicked witch of the west, or in this case Ohio! I'd look good in green, don't you think? Especially the hat, oh yeah, love the hat!

Daz, this is one that I truly would have given just about anything to have had a video recorder with me. I had what seemed like forever to record the swinging and the little girls' faces. It would have been incredible evidence. But I guess I just have to live with the memories. Sometimes those are just as good. Maybe 😆.

And, yes, this was another one of those feel goods moments. I'm good with those, you know? My life doesn't have to have the "scare the crap out of me" ghost stories. The few that I've had were enough. I'm good with these kind of stories.

Darkness, yep Granny called it right. Pretty much a big gigantic yard sale. Can you tell she misses Ohio?! There's a Swap Days coming up really soon. I'll do a drive by (without weapons of course LOL) and take pictures. I'll email them to you since you seem to have forgotten your friends in the Loonie Bin 😉, just to give you an idea of what it's like.

The playground would be a fantastic idea, except its a very low income area. Don't think anyone would put the effort or expense into it, which is a shame because kids, no matter what their background, need all the recreation and fun they can get. It would be great, but I just don't see it happening. 😢

Miriacles, I found your story really pleasant and as badjj said, it would have been pretty awesome to see... This is one of those stories that just makes you feel good... And has left me a little short on theories which is generally hard to do.

Hey Granny how are you? Good to hear from you aswell! Wow that does sound pretty cool I don't think we do anything like that over here, I mean we have the odd garage sale, or an organised "swap meet" for any particular suburb, but the whole city wouldn't be able to do it. Would love to experience that one day.

A good thought regarding the building of a playground on the vacant block also. 😁

Hey, Darkness! How have you been, mate? No, honestly, I don't believe this to have been a residual haunting, inspite of my comment about wanting to prove it to be. But like I told whitebuffalo, there is so much out there that I don't know, things that I seem to learn daily, that it truly wouldn't surprise me to find out that residuals can also be intelligent.

To answer your question about what the little girls saw. I honestly don't know what they saw. I ASSUME, and there's that word I hate to use, they saw SOMETHING just because they were children and still able to "see," but they could have seen the swing the way I saw it.

I'm glad you posted because I was going to put an update anyway. I drove by there this weekend. The house that once stood is no longer there. It is just an empty lot. I'm not so sure I will ever be able to prove anything now. Residual or intelligent. It's a shame really. That was a truly great experience.

I can just picture you and the girls looking back at each other staring in disbelief lol. 😆 I was thinking do you believe the girls actually saw someone on the swing at all or were seeing exactly what you were seeing? I'm unsure about it being Residual I'm leaning to it being Intelligent perhaps a child is attached to the land the swing is on maybe?

whitebuffalo - I'm not sure that it was a residual. At the time I witnessed it, all this was still new to me. I still have SO MUCH to learn about ghosts and all that they bring with them. After everything that I've seen and heard, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that a residual could also be an intelligent, and manipulate a swing.

I'm still checking periodically. And that date is fast approaching. Unfortunately it falls during the week this year. Don't know if I'll be able to be there this year since I'll be working. But I think about it everytime I'm in that area. And I always look, just in case.

Really? I thought Residuals could NOT manipulate their surroundings? There is no Entity, just the FILM of the experience...

Granny, I never even thought about validation for the little girls. How selfish of me is that? Wow! You're right, of course. Here I was, thinking that they were confirming what I saw, when in reality I was confirming what THEY SAW!

How many parents would believe their children if another adult didn't see it? As we see on here every day, not many, huh? Thank you for pointing that out.

Miracles: See what I mean about "no coincidents?"...I think you were meant to have this experience, if just so the girls watching would feel validation!...They both were probably thinking they were Loonie, and the fact that YOU, an ADULT were witnessing the same thing may have helped them "prove" their point to the adults in the their household! 😆

Cosmogal - thank you! Some people will probably discount the little girls as being credible witnesses, but you, BJJ and I all know they are the ones who REALLY witnessed was going on. I wasn't the one who "saw" the ghost child. They did. I just happened to see "something." The little girls were the lucky ones. 😊
