UHG! Stupid growling dogs who are going to end up sniveling in the corner with it's tail between it's legs, when the One comes. Tell it to leave in Jesus' name any time you hear it. Pray out loud & ask the Lord to be with you & fill you with the Holy Spirit. He wants ALL of us to do this in these situations. It's not about majic words & emblems. It's about the blood of Christ. Ask & He will be there. Bless you & I pray for you. Much love;)

I pray you can get to the bottom of this. I will certainly keep you in my prayers. I have to agree with the lady dog lover. You don't know what your neighbors have inside their apartments. If any of you watch Fatal Attractions on the Animal Planet, then you will know what I am talking about. I also agree that you can not take it as fact anything that you read on Wikipedia! Hopefully you will get the answers you're looking for. I don't think at this point you have anything to be concerned about.

I think you ran across the name and it remained in your mind. Belial is no crowned price and there is no hell. The growling could have been real and your dream was your mind telling you how to handle a sitation. Not necessarily the players involved meant anything. Or it could have been an echo or a vibration. Or a ghost dog. There are many possibilities.

Thanks for getting back so quickly. Well, at least now that you've let us run you around maybe you'll be so tired that the night will just slip on by uneventful and restful. The place has been blessed and that's #1. Man, you are right on top of it, aren't you? You'll do great! It's a little funny how when they try to retell someones experience on TV they always portray the husband/father as the 'clueless unbeliever' who has to be dragged in as a reluctant particpant. Well, I guess you've broken the mold eh? Good evening to you and yours and here's hoping you spend an uneventful night and get back to being a happy family again. 😊

Wikepedia is not really a reliable source.
Try ordering books in pre-christian deities from google.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for your insights. I initially didn't want to participate in the discussion but I feel that I have to give some more info since that provided in the story appears to be insufficient.

Rashidah: I used wikipedia as a source of who belial is
Http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belial#In_Satanism
And NO I wasn't asleep when I heard the growling, I clearly stated when I was so.

DCin: I appreciate your rationality! And trust me, I considered all those things before even thinking of posting this experience:
1.I don't have a dog, the apartment below mine is empty and the one above is occupied by an 80 (and more) year old guy who is on a wheelchair and his son who takes care of him doesn't own one. The only neighbor who has a dog is the one living in front of me (but I wouldn't hear it in my bathroom)
2.bathroom tiles=good acoustics (true), but I have no tiles in the kitchen and the intensity of the sound was the same (I stated that too).
3.Only the morning after was in daylight hours (9am in the kitchen)
I personally ADORE dogs and I wish it had been one!

BadJuuJuu: I absolutely agree with you. I would say that to someone else too! The thing is that, yes the first time I heard it I was kind of disoriented, but the second time I got scared. I know, however, what kind of fear you intend (I have experienced it and I keep that material for the next story) and I must say that NO, this time I didn't feel terror, just fear. I must add that I have felt that I was being watched in that bathroom but I always thought it was the spirit of the previous owner who died here.
I hope I was clear enough
😁
Good night to you all and thanks again!

That was well explained.
Also the growling noises can just be a simple dream.

Here I am again, the crazy dog loving lady... You said you live in an apartment correct? Even though YOU don't have a dog doesn't mean there isn't one around. Just because they aren't allowed, again, doesn't mean there isn't one at a neighbors apt. The reason I bring it up is the growling. When a dog growls it actually has a natural accoustic affect to it making it sound bigger, meaner and also gives it a hellnound quality. You were in the bathroom correct? Tiles, therefore, accoustics. If this sounded right next to you that would also make sense. Only during the daylight hours? The owner is at work, dog is protecting his area, hence the growl, barks alert others, growls tell YOU to back off. I could be wrong, and in no way do I mean to diminish your experience in any way, but if you want to explore all the possibilities then I'm offering it up to you as one. I did enjoy reading the account of your experiences and look forward to any future updates. Thank you.

My two cents. I think if the growling had a truly demonic origin, you would have felt much more frightened the first time you heard it. I know I sound a bit like a broken record on this, but demons have such a different feel than anything else. You just know, deep down in your gut, you are in the presence of something very wrong. It's instinctive.
It seems possible that your recent interest in demonology may have "influenced" your mind to see/hear something demonic. I would chalk up the dream to your recent reading material. Belial is a name that gets tossed around a lot in demonic stories. You very likely read/heard it recently. Once we believe something, open up our minds to the possibility of something, we tend to start seeing that something everywhere we look. I think that may be what's going on here. You have begun learning about demons, and now your mind is connecting things to the diabolical. I would advise you to be very careful of your experiences from here on out, analyze every little detail of anything unusual. Look deeply at everything, and ask yourself if it's truly something demonic, or your mind overlaying your new knowledge onto your experiences. The human mind can be a tricky bugger.
JimD is the demonologist on this site. He's a good guy, and his point of view on this story would be interesting.

Regardless of what/who this growling came from, I am certain it was frightening! I believe the dream was to let you know that you have faith and the power to with stand evils presented to you.

Thanks for sharing!
God Bless!

I am sorry, but am not seeing how this is connected to Belial 😕

Belial is a pre-christian god which was not considered evil until the advent of christianity.

Please do the research.
