hey this is really strange... Dude the dime is haunted lolz... I'm not making fun of it but I think you should for info about you house... And the people who lived there good luck

i think that spirits leave dimes when they visit. My grandpa always had a dime in the bed of his truck, for good luck, he said. I've copied him in doing that.

Anyway, I find dimes at the most ramdom of places. I would just be glad you find money. You never know when you might need it.

hi tom1121 bit of advice here have heard of this kind of thing before a grandparent showint they were around by leaving dimes around.
Ask your family members if they know of anyone who passed in 1977, it will more than likly be a woman as you heard the womans voice and then the coin turns up.
It could be there way of saying they are watching over you without frightening you by "popping in to visit"

I agree with DeviousAngel. The dime be telling you something. About the woman whispering, did you make out anything she said?

That is a very bizarre occurance indeed. Can you think of any special significance of this dime? Perhaps something someone told you, or an experience you had that involved something like it? For some reason I get the feeling it's showing up because someone's trying to tell you something.
