and just a note to princess katie, it's horrible of you to ever ever EVER WISH something evil on another human being, would you wish another person to hope a demon comes after you? You should think about what you say before you say it.

There is so much emphasis on quija boards in here, both good and bad. The only conclusion that I can come to is the one that most people don't seem to comprehend, a quija board is a device used to contact the spiritual realm... ALL of the spiritual realm, both good and bad. Noone is necessarily experienced in using a quija board, I mean we have mediums and psychics who can work with quija boards, but they are no different than those who use tarot cards and runes, or even those who allow the spirits to speak through them. It's something that can be bought at toy stores all over the country, so naturally those who are "inexperienced" will use them and experiment with them, who here is not guilty of curiosity, and a curiosity of the spiritual realm surpasses most others. What I mean to say is, if you choose to use a quija board, be very very careful and aware of what you're doing, because there is a chance of connecting with a spirit or spirits that aren't exactly friendly. And you should be especially careful of WHO you try to contact! It's not the wisest of decisions to try and contact a person you know has been affiliated with the dark arts! I'm glad you're ok since this incident. Blessed be.

Ok Princess I will have my opinion, and will not be silenced. Apparently as you know, I have an attitude and it's enough where I don't need yours either. All I am saying is YA'LL need to have a chill pill. We all know what they can do and will do. So before you blow up at me, stop defending those who state the obvious and really look at how stupid it sounds.

hi Abercrombie have a chill pill people are just warning people of what can happen that is all we're are saying. We are saying you have to be careful for it up to the other person if they want to play on one but If something bad happens it is there fault because they didn't listen and they chose not to listen.

Yeah my mom did a lot of witchy stuff, but she isn't like that, she just wanted a good scare and still does. But she had an ouija, but nothing ever came after her of anyone else. I think that she did it alone, too, so... But people overreact about this stuff and it is so annoying. I do not have an ouija, nor do I ever plan to. But people who are always like, "Don't ever get and ouija! They're bad and will kill you!", don't they sound a little out of control whether it's true or not? I believe your story, I'm just tired of all the acting. Anyone else?

no you shouldn't even play on one if you do your selfish cause they bring bad luck to you and even others. They bring evil and a death in your family. They can kill you or a family member. They bring bad spirits and demons. So if you mess on one and this happens it your own fault. Some people just want to see a spirit/ghost so badly that's why they play on one because they haven't got a gift. 😐 The people who play on them yeah I hope a demon comes after you. Cause that what happens the demon can make footsteps coming up your stairs then you think its your parents you shout them and they give you no answer the next thing these red eyes are staring straight at you and screaming it is in your face your pinned down you can't move at ll it takes your breathe away.

I was like you before... I never believed in what people said about Ouija boards. My aunt did tell me she experienced one of those encounters when she was young since my uncles' and herself tried it out. My aunt would tell me she would see shadows pass by her door and enter through one of my uncle's room. I was like "Hah! Yeah right. You're just trying to scare me..."
I still didn't try the Ouija board as I never got one... But after reading what you've experienced... I'm never trying that thing...
Be safe and pray! Try blessing the house... I don't know if it works or not... But go with your instincts. I don't actually know that much about 'ghosts' since I've never really experienced anything awkward. 😕

First of all, if she was in to 'Satanism' then that has nothing to do with devil worshiping.

What people don't seem to understand is that the devil/Satan/Lucifer is a BIBLICAL figure. Meaning if you are not in a BIBLICAL based religion that you don't believe in him, therefor if she was into Satanism, Paganism or Wicca that she couldn't have possibly be a 'devil'.

Neat story, but I can't help to believe that it was a bit exaggerated. Sorry to sound unbelieving, but I am still a skeptic.

Ouija boards are not unlike online chat rooms; You can wind up talking to anyone or anything. They are not inherently evil, but they are extremely dangerous. I would never advocate their use by unsupervised humans.

Now I have used these boards and other methods many times. Let me just say they are one of those things an in experienced person should not mess with. I don't think it was that girl you contacted. Things on that board lie and make it a personal note to know things about you. Now never play a board by yourself because you can open a doorway for some very bad things. Also never ask the to prove that they are there. That also invites them in. Basically you can never really tell what or who your are going to get on a board. Use extreme caution.

Ouija boards are nothing but trouble, they only bring evil. If you are trying to contact a good spirit do it the old fashion way. FIND IT ON OUR OWN. I am not yelling at you just giving a warning coming a little too late. I suggest doing something religious. Even if you aren't religious. If you have a priest come and bless your house this will happen. The first time she will probably go away for a couple of months. BUT THEN SHE WILL COME BACK STRONGER THAN EVER. You need an exorcism. She is a demon, demons just try to destroy your life. I don't mean to sound all religious, but I have seen this before, religion is the only thing to fix this.

i'll never play with a ouija board because when my mum was young she used one once with her freinds and the brand new glass table they had it on exploded you now like how if you crack glass then suddenly it shatters to bits and goes every where

I personally have used Ouija Boards, for many years now. I also channel, without the Ouija. Let me start off by saying that these Boards should not be messed with unless you know what you are doing. They are not toys, allthough they are portrayed to be. If you are not extreamly careful, with the questions that you are asking, you are inviting these malevolent spirits into your life, and once they are there, it will not be easy to rid your life of them. I have had mostly good experiences with them, with only a few exceptions, but the diffrence is, I know what I am doing, and I know when to shut a conversation down, and close the Board off. There are questions that you DO NOT ask, and the mistake that I see being made more then any other is, people asking them to "prove they are there" by doing whatever. Once you speak these words, you swung the door open, and all they have to do is step through. Be very leary of Ouijas, and if you still want to play with them, ask someone to teach you who is experienced with them.

I have bad experiences with the Ouija board myself. Many of them. But are you sure that you were talking to Heather? Some spirits like to lie about who they are. Thats why you need a saftely question when using that board and it is saying that they are some one you know. I have had the board hit me in the head by itself. Plus the people that run the board hate me.

Martin, you know my stance on the ouija. I have used one in the past and no good came of it I assure you. I like most everyone else here believe the story has been embellished just a bit to give it more of a fright factor, but I am inclind to believe they did experience something.

Peace, Love, and Luck be with you.

ouija boards are a really freeky thing. I've never used one, and I never will. When I was in school I had friends who used them and It freeked me out way bad, lol. This only make's me not to use them more.
I think this story got a little fictional but I totally don't doubt your experiance at all.
I'm sorry you had a bad experiance! I hope it dosent happen again.

Martin,
I'll tell you from personal experiences. They arn't just childrens toys if you let them run their own course. Yes some people just push them around, I used to play with people who did it, it's a toataly different feeling then having the monicle move on it's own. Once our fingers slipped and it kept going. That did it for me.

Hi Sorcha, I receive the Bloody Mary type also but I don't publish them, I prefer to stick to the main and original mission of this site which is publishing real (even if boring) experiences over entertaining fiction, and having users help around those people with suggestions, or at least just listening. So what I am asking here is if those stories are plausible, or are they some bloody mary "camp-fire" stories? Do Ouija boards really work or are people unconsciously manipulating them?

I wouldn't play around a Ouija board just to see for myself though ;)

Hi, newbie here Astral
I think maybe something did 'happen' but the
story may have been 'embellished' like they do with the stories on 'A Haunting' tv show.
Whatever the case, I don't doubt those ouija
boards are dangerous.

Hiya Martin,
I enjoy the 'camp-fire' factor of these kind of stories. They remind me of those Bloody Mary type myths. I don't doubt that some people have strange OuiJa experiences however the credibility of this one is suspect.

What do guys think of Ouija boards stories like this? I receive many but they're generally written so badly, and are so far fetched that I don't publish them. Are they a typical teenager scare stories or are they real? I'll be taking your feedback into consideration for future stories like these.
