While you consider the helpful suggestions our friends here at YGS have suggested for you, please keep in mind (sorry Granny I'm not trying to preach) that Holy water, Holy pictures, Holy priests coming to your home doing the hokey pokey isn't going to keep the enemy from harrasing you. You have to have Jesus in your heart. I know there are other ways of warding off evil that I learned as a Pagan. But they seemed so thin, if that makes sense. I'm not nocking it AT ALL. No, you're not being paranoid. Indeed I might have been a bit hyperbolic in my post and I apologize for my unintended actions. I deduced that your cousin was becoming more socially active in order to deter these demons, spirits, ghosts, or negative entities from bothering him, which is based on the assumption that these entities were bothering your cousin. Hence, I suggested that you increase your social activities with your friends and family as a means to deter these entities. I apologize to everyone for any misunderstandings.

In regards to your situation:

Like what rookdygin said, maybe you're being followed by a negative entity and probably the best thing to do is shield yourself from these negative energies. Unfortunately, I don't know why these entities want to pick on such a nice kid? You might be carrying something that these entities want. Obviously you would have mentioned this earlier, but did you take anything with you after you left your Aunt's house that fateful day?

These entities seem to show particular demonic signs; however, they don't seem to respond in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Does anyone here know if demons can have names? If so, then you might be able to say "Jesus rebuke Rath to the abyss" in order to get rid of Rath, assuming Rath is this demon's name.

Since your experience also implies ghosts are haunting you, then you might want to seek a ghost hunter. Alas, I don't think ghost hunters necessarily capture ghosts. They simply verify their existence as well as give insight to who these ghosts are, this is yet another assumption. Nonetheless, this may give you a good idea of what you're facing.

Is it possible that you might have been cursed when you touched the head of that spear why out in that deserted old house up in Snowdonia? If so, then possibly seeking a witchdoctor might help. However, why would such a curse be dormant for 5-6 years? Is this possible?

Since you've been experiencing these events for a rather lengthy period of time, do you now get excited when you're in the presence of these entities? If they don't do anymore then shake the place a little bit without any harm done, then you might be fine as long as you ignore them and focus on things that make you happy. Where I live, things in the common area and kitchen would tend to be put out of place with no explanation, load noises such as doors slamming shut would occur at various times of the day, or I would experience strange feelings, such as chills. This would usually annoy me, but since it does not affect me significantly, I simply ignore it and focus on better things. These events have been happening for close to two years. These entities might be disturbing you because you can recognize their presence. Once you ignore them, they might go away and bother someone else. Though, I don't know if this advice is recommended.

Most importantly, like what Loganz_sis, Jitow, Dachande, Javelina, Shadowyne33 and many others who posted, don't give up. They have no right to influence you life. You have the power to stop them.

Being a college student, mixing and making friends is something I do without thinking about doing it; I spend time with friends as much as possible. Yes, granted, since things started happening, I have lost friends. But not because I chose to be anti social, it's because I freak them out when those things come along to do whatever it is they do, my uncontrollable reaction to their stalking nature, bothers the company I have at that time.

Even though I have replied maturely, it felt like your comment was mocking me. Perhaps I'm being paranoid, but hey... Any comment is a comment still, so thank you regardless.

I found your story to be quite informative and well written. I also appreciate the invaluable advice from everyone's comments here on this website.

Along with everyone's advice such as shielding yourself with positive energy, praying, reciting a protection prayer, creating a positive environment, practicing methods to get rid of demons, seeking spiritual help, and having a balanced diet full of fruits and vegetables along with proper exercise, you can also do what your cousin Brian's doing and visit your friends more often. Apparently he sleeps over with his friends rather frequently. I don't know if you want to do that, but you can certainly spend a bit more time with your friends and family; even do a movie night. Moreover, since you're a college student, this is a great opportunity to study with your friends. Of course, you may already be doing this. In that case, great job!

When I left my Aunties house in 2006, I didn't feel angry or sad, if anything, I felt great that I was leaving.

On the way home however, I listened to music and felt sad. But this isn't "strange" by any means, because music always reminds me of the past and makes me sad, as I'm sure it does to many other people.

hi zik, I'm a medium & the same kind of things happened to me when I was growing up. You have the gift but don't know it. You feel the air, atmosphere change before an attack don't you. Here's my advice, your open and need to close down. Imagine two doors closing above your head, again between your eyes, again your throat area, heart area, stomach area. (do all these for front and back) This is how mediums close down.
I think its very bad earthbound spirits not demons. Next I would ask aloud or in your head for your spirit guide (everyone has one) to protect you. Also say 'holy spirit, send me the highest & bightest to protect me from all evil, seen and unseen. Any negative energy to be returned to the source as healing amen' give it a try.
At the moment your reacting like a victim to their bullying and feeding them energy through your fears, stop! And start acting by being strong! Your stronger then you know. I know its difficult not to be scared by it all, but I came through it and so can you. I'm speaking from 20 years experience of being a medium of dealing with negative spirits. Take care

From reading this story and the updates of what's going on, it almost seems that this entity/spirit has followed you from your Aunt's house to yours. The last time that you left your Aunt's house, were you having a lot of anger or sadness?

Hello everyone, once again thank you for trying to help me, and just commenting in general.

Things seemed to have escalated recently in regards to the trouble I have with these entities. They're now leaving scratch marks on the wallpaper around the house, and my Mother is terrified now too. She wants to send me off to get specialist help, first to see if it's all in my mind, which she said she doubts because of the scratches on the wall and my body, then to get "spiritual" help from a Priest.

I won't lie, I don't think this will help me at all. I know I'm not "insane" and I can sure as hell tell the difference between imagination and reality - what's happening to me is 100% real.

These entities seem to target me whenever I'm alone. If I'm sitting in the living room with my Parents, as soon as they go to the Kitch to cook, they come to me. It goes abnormally silent, and I can hear a few of them walking towards me. Certain things start to vibrate in the room around me, usually the doors or object I'm sitting on, then the whispering starts. If I openly say, which I have three times now "Go away!" "Leave me alone!" "Jesus Christ rebuke you" and other phrases regarding Jesus (Yes, I've finally resorted to this from fear) they get more violent, and I can feel them physically grabbing my legs and pulling at them. Not hard enough to make me move, though.

I have no doubt in my mind, that these are real and want nothing but to hurt and manipulate me.

During, before and for a little after the stuff that happens, there's a feeling of "emptiness" is the best I can describe it.

Also, during and mainly before the stuff begins to happen, there's a smell of what I can only describe as raw meat... The smell you get in a Butchers shop.

The furniture doesn't shake every single time, but doors do and the handles move violently at times when I'm alone.

I haven't had anymore anger issues besides being fustrated with whatever is stalking me.

He spoke about the "Ghosts" in past tense. He actually told me that nothing happens there anymore besides hearing things moving downstairs at night, but he assumes that's draft or something.

Hi Zik, I too am no expert and I can only imagine what you are going through! I do however agree you may find help with the Lord.
I am no church bunny either but I do believe in God and something that helps me is the following:

(from the Gospel of Thomas)
Jesus said: "The Kingdom of God is inside you, and all around you, not in mansions of wood and stone.
Split a piece of wood and I am there, lift a stone and you will find me"

So all you need to do is pray, speak to God. Tell him of your troubles and ask for his help and guidance.
No need to go to church...

Another good piece of advise which I got of this website is to recite this protection prayer:
The light of God surrounds me;
The love of God enfolds me;
The power of God protects me;
The presence of God watches over me;
Where ever I am God is.

Hope this brings you some clarity and much needed help.

No Problem, we all have different approaches. However ours may not differ as much as you think... With so many people here in the 'West' 'focused' on 3am being a 'negative' time of night, negative energies and entities may just be 'attracted' to that time. So from a historic stand point it not be 'true' but here in the 'West' in modern times people have 'made it that way'. Collective thinking I believe it's called.

I like the fact you did an EVP session, you say the words you heard during playback were...

"I heard a voice very similar to my father's voice say "I Rath, I Rath" I assume "Rath" is a name but I'm not sure."

Rath, may be a name or a description, if that 'a' is the long form of the letter... Then the word may be 'Wrath' as in angry or it could be Wraith: a vision of a person still alive, said to appear as a premonition of that person's death / the supposed ghost of a dead person, or any ghostly and insubstantial apparition.

Rath, as you spelled it could be a place, person or thing. Examples: (Things) as an alternative spelling of Rat, a German advisory or ruling council / Irish ringfort, fortified earthen works. (Places) a town in Uttar Pradesh, India / a townland and civil parish in County Clare, Ireland. (People) lot's of people and a couple of Companies tossed in to boot.

I still feel this is not 'Demonic' but rather a Negative Entity attempting to generate a negative environment that it can 'thrive' in. Yes there is a difference between the two. There are ways to shield oneself that do not require any 'religious faith' just a belief in oneself and desire to keep negative 'energies and entities' at bay. So if you want Zik I'll gladly post a shielding technique.

Clearly so - demonic. The whisperings are called magical whisperings, and often are heard only by the focal person - in an attempt to isolate him / her from friends and family and perhaps get them to doubt their sanity. These spirits are good at psychological warfare.

I'm certainly no expert, but if you could answer some questions it might help when the other posters come back to have the information at the ready.

1) Is there some feeling or sound that is always the same preceding these events?
2) Do you ever notice any smells/odors at any time before, during, or after the events occur?
3) You said that first night after returning home that the figurines on your furniture and the furniture started to shake as if heavy footsteps were causing it, is this still part of the scenario?
4) Have you had any further fits of uncontrolled anger like when you put your fist through the wardrobe?
5) Does your cousin speak of the "Ghosts" in the past tense now, as if he no longer has any at his house?

I realize you have doubts about the existence of a higher power, also that you say that you know no one can help you. Well the part about knowing you can't be helped is quite frankly, just the attitude that makes you an easy mark for what now ails you. I do know this, if you don't think you can get out of this situation, you are WRONG! And even if you don't have faith in a higher power, you MUST have faith in yourself! You don't actually believe you deserve what is happening to you, do you? Your life was basically a normal life before this came along, right? You certainly don't sound like you invited anything upon yourself from what you've said here. So, unless you put out an engraved invitation to these things, you are innocent of that too.
Don't ever give up on yourself, you are much tougher than you know. After all, you are still here and able to reach out. This is very important, it shows you still have the willpower to do something on your own behalf. THIS IS A BIG DEAL! There is hope for you, so stop saying there is not. You have reached out... And that's what will save you.

Yes,it's true. You are under the control of extremely bad negative powers & so you got angry when your mom's friend asked her for a blessing and she said "yes". It's very easy to understand that you are under their control, since dogs never bark or bite people without & moreover they can see ghosts,& since you are under control, dogs are considering you as a ghost. Listen, if you want to get rid of all this stuff then you've to get the blessing first. Get some holy water & spread it all over your home, at every room. Get a holy christ cross chain (if you are christian) & wear it on your neck, that would keep you safe all the time. Then, get some holy god pictures & place them near all the doors & on the attic too. While you sleep,don't remove the holy chain (never remove it) & keep some holy water near your bed. At night if you hear the same things, throw some holy water that way, take god's name & sleep. I'm sure, everything will be good. God bless you

So you people think that these spirits are Demons? There is definitely a dark kind of "pressing" feeling at night. It feels like heat, but it's not hot, it's just preasure, before things start. And now I can hear one of the male voices saying "Rath" without the voice recorder.

Earlier this afternoon, I was napping after class at Uni, and the voices started again, only in the day time now.:/

Any advice, I'm too scared to shout out things like to do with Jesus and Mary... Meh.

Interesting and thanks for your kind words. 3 AM is significant. I base this on 5 years of 'field work' with over 50 clients, more than on a review of literature. It is also pervasive on this site with folks reporting not so friendly happenings at or around this time. So, we can draw different conclusions, but stuff is reportedly happening at this time; but, interesting, as is all of this. I hope this young man does find peace of soul. Stay well.

I consider you as someone who truly wishes to help people the best way he knows how, but you have made a point I feel I must 'refute'...

This theory of 3am being the 'witching' hour, or an evil 'time' are 'modern' concepts.

One of the first uses of this was in 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' by Washington Erving, Published in 1820. Not only that but this short story is a true American 'Fariy Tale' and is among the earliest examples of American fiction still read today.

There is little proof the term has had any practical use prior to this, and there is a good chance he coined the phrase because he had grown up in and around New England and had toured areas where the Salem Witch Trials took place.

Most Christians deny this time has any special meaning within the Christian faith. Yes I know, and have 'seen' the web sites and read the account's...explain to me one thing about them... Why are the overwhelming majority of them 'based' in the United States?

Is it scary late night/early morning? Sure! Are we afraid of things we can't see? Heck yes! So it's natural to 'be scared' if we wake up for an unknown reason in the 'wee' hours before dawn.

I am of the opinion that there is no 'special time' for Demons or the Devil to run amok... They are always around us, tempting us, seducing us and trying to 'win us over'. We just 'notice' it more at night, when we are alone and vulnerable in the Dark.

Wow; I'm sorry that all these things have happened. I'm not preaching - I'm just giving you my 2 cents worth, for your discernment.

Seeing dark shadows out of the corner of your eye, the room turning cold, the errie feeling of being watched, the attendant fear and chaos, and the screams are 100 % demonic in nature. Could something bad have attached from the deserted barn. Possibly, yes. I read of a few cases like that. 3 AM is the calling card of the Devil, because it mocks and inverts 3 PM, the hour Jesus died on the Cross.

My counsel is the same, because the symptoms are so very familiar, over and over again. Use of Catholic Holy water, especially at night and in the bedrooms, and the names of Jesus and Mary helps a lot. If Catholic, I'd counsel frequent receipt of the Sacraments. With much respect, I don't agree with Fr. Thomas. I don't think it's stress alone. I feel demonic infestation, combined with a touch of obsession, are clearly present here. Having the home blessed is good, but very often not alone enough.

A few updates: Things to do with the events spoken about, such as the scratches and voices have continued. I spoke to my cousin, Brian, about why he won't stay at the house for long. He said he just liked sleeping at friends houses, but admitted that he knows there was "Ghosts" there, because he used to ask them to turn the music off for him before he went to sleep, and they would. (All according to him, I have no evidence besides my experiences.)

The voices don't seem to say anything specific, it's like they're making hissing noises at me just to disturb me. However, I did use a voice recorder I bought from Argos for

While I do agree with some of the religious solutions, I believe it is a good idea to maybe look into energy manipulation, I've personally had to deal with several spirits, and a demon, just when you research energy manipulation please I urge you to remember these are simply weak human spirits. Your outnumbered and scared so maybe you might need a combination of solutions, or possibly try to find a local witch to try to help you. Good luck.

Hi Rook although dogs make good companions and guard dogs they aren't the cleanest of animals and hence when conducting a cleansing ritual it is best to leave them outside until the ritual is over. My intention is not to propagate any of my religious beliefs upon anyone but am simply offering a solution from my side. Peace.

And Zik, there is nothing that Jesus won't forgive you for my friend, you are never too far gone. He will deliver you in an instant if you call upon His name. You have heard of the thief on the cross next to Jesus when He died for our sins. The thief knew that Jesus had done no wrong at all let alone to be killed for and He told Jesus that He believed that He was God's son. Before he died Jesus said to Him from His own cross, "Today, you will be with me in paradise". You are trying to cut it close my friend but call out to Jesus and He will deliver you, it is never to late for Him.

Zik, Jesus Christ has authority over all of them and He will give all authority over them to you as well if you ask Him. Say to them "Jesus rebuke you to the abyss". Works everytime. Just do it and you will be able to help others in the same situation. It has worked for the last 2,000 years and it will work for you.

Hi Zic. I'm curious about your cousin. Is there a reason that he left your aunts house for so long? Possibly he was experiencing the same things as you and when he left they targeted you instead. Did he do something to invite these negative entities into your aunts home? Because it seems that this all started with his room. You can fight back. Dont let these entities win. Do not be afraid, your fear feeds them. And if you can, let god into your heart. Your strength comes from him. I know you know it.

I'm sorry you are so tormented. I just want to say that your story was very well written and I got a clear picture of what you're dealing with. I hope you can find a way to get some peace. Who knows? I am sorry that you are going through all this at a age when you should be having fun...

For me the biggest red flags in your story are sentences like "they have control over me"/"I know no one can help me". You know there is a problem, paranormal or not that is secondary. If you put your hand up in the air and say 'I am beyond help' there is your first defeat... Life is larger than everything so at 18 you cannot give up on things least of all you cannot give up on yourself.

You may feel very lost... But maybe this father Thomas can help you, have you thought of that. Do you want help? Ask yourself that. I do wish you well and hope that you find strength and most of all find yourself.

There are many parts of your experience that have caught my attention. You say you've seen Shadow Figures, heard voices (both male and female), electronics that turn themselves on and off, items that move around in your room, unexplained scratches on your body and you say that they 'control you', not like possession but if you do something 'they' don't like, 'they get angry with you. That and your dogs began to 'turn' on you.

I'm not one to cry 'wolf' but this sounds like a case of 'oppression' and I'm not one who says that very often.

Let me ask this, you stated that when your Mom agreed to having the home Blessed you punched a hole in your wardrobe, for which you got grounded... How did being grounded for that make you feel?

Is there a negative feeling in / around your home?

Have you ever understood any of the 'words' these 'Shadows' are saying? (Good time to try an EVP session).

You say you were 16 at your Aunt's house when the 'shadow' moved your clothes and the door not opening / the scream that moved upstairs when the door opened... Your nearly 18 now and things are happening in your home, not at your Aunt's... Have you been back to your Aunt's in the past year and a half? It seems as if it may have started there...

If you would like I can suggest a few ways to shield yourself, your room and indeed your entire house.

I respect your idea, it has merit and it is my guess it reflects your religious beliefs... I can wrap my head around the 'no pork' in the house as some religions consider it an 'unclean' meat. My question is this... Why no dogs? Thank you in advance for any answer you may give.

Hi Zik, from the sounds of it you have multiple entities in your present house. Play a recording of "Surah Baqarah" which is the second chapter of the Quran once every day for three days. Make sure there is no pork in your house and no dogs before you do this. You can get a copy from YouTube. It is around 2 hours long. The entities will leave for good, god willing.
