You know, this is why I am so interested in ghosts. You learn a lot about history by researching ghosts. I know most of my American history, the esoteric stuff, from hauntings that I've read about. Thanks for sharing, I now know a little bit more.

BJJ: Something just hit me across the head, no not a ghostie! 😆...You know how I feel about coincidents... These delays may not (in fact I want to say a definate 'are not') be caused by something evil trying to keep you down...There's a reason why you're being held back...Geez, I'm having a hard time expressing myself exactly...
Somebody knows what you and Brad are capable of as a team... Probably a whole lot of "somebodies"...They feel your connection to the area, they know there are reasons other than them why you want to leave, and they can accept that...But, they need closure...
Humph, just listen to Miracles and dragonwalker 😆

dragonwalker - your last comment helped me remember something I was trying to get out. It was "stuck" 😆 and needed some help LOL. Thank you.
BJJ, remember your soldier? You've already done this. You honored him. I think that's what you might need to do. To honor those who have been disrespected. Sort of a funeral for them. Your heart, BJJ, is huge and they need someone to remember them and show them that they were once human and someone, somewhere loved them. Show them that they still matter. Like dragonwalker said, "It might be what is needed to lay things to rest."
It won't fix everything, but I think if you could heal some broken souls...

Hey BJJ, I was thinking the same thing as Miracles. Wondering if the house was placed on top of some remains. Considering the history of the land and how the cemetery along with it's residents were so poorly treated, I can see how these spirits would be upset. The woods now being the only place they can go draws negative energy to the land. Which could be why this evil nasty thing is now lurking around the property. Thanks for adding the history BJJ it gives a better sense of why there has always been so much going on at your house.

Am wondering if, perhaps, by some strange logic, you wouldn't be the appropriate choice for a new "guardian", to remember them and take care of their resting place?
So far, nothing seems *angry*, at least, not that I gathered from your story. But you, with your concern and care, strike me as possible "guardian" material. It might be what is needed to lay things to rest, as it were.

BJJ - I think you have the potential for a lot of "bad" guys. Even though they may not necessarily be "bad guys," the fact that the graves have been, for want of a better term, trashed (wincing here) and so willfully disrespected, this alone could make not only the guardian of the cemeteries but also the ghosts themselves very, very unhappy. We've read many stories on here where people have disrespected a single grave and the ghost has "haunted" them. Imagine an entire cemetery being disrespected 😢. Unfortunately, you and yours would be a logical choice for the fall guy.
The gravestone in the barrel sickened me when I read it. It was as if that person just didn't matter.

BJJ: Seems like the land has a double whammy with the Native American history, and the cemetery... But my thoughts are still that the outside guy causes the inside guys to fear him... I don't think a watcher would instill that in the spirits he's been designated to protect... Hmmmm

Personally, I think it is horrible to disrespect the dead and disturb or destroy their resting places. When the new WalMart was put up near Reidsville, NC the graves of a number of slaves were dug up. They were supposedly moved to another location, but still...that's just wrong. I also hate it that people have disturbed the tombs of Egyptian mummies, stolen their treasures and put the mummies on display like they are objects and not human beings. These are prime examples of greed and inhumanity in action.

BJJ - no thanks necessary, and as long as y'all protect me from Skittles and his woman, I think we're even 😉

BJJ - not only are you dealing with the ghosts of the land you live on, but you have at least one that came with the house. No telling if there is actually more than one residual that came with the house.
I'm wondering if the fact that the house was "uprooted" has anything to do with the activity inside the house. Just thinking out loud here, some of y'all know how that works for me 😆. I'm wondering if the fact that the house was moved has pissed off some of the "residents." Yeah, I know they can come and go at will, but what if they liked the house where it was. I mean, seriously, they get pissed off at remodeling. What's to say they wouldn't get seriously bent out of shape over their home being picked up and relocated? I know I sure as heck would.
And another thought just running through my mind. The land where the house was relocated... How close is it to actual cemeteries and/or Sacred Ground? Is there any chance the house could have been "dropped" somewhere it shouldn't have been? I just wonder if the house is close enough that the guardian would consider it to be in it's "territory." You know, sort of like dogs will consider the whole road/street "their" property, even though they only belong to their house.

BJJ: I'm interested in finding out if you're related to any of the past owners or settlers, including the Native Americans?...

What is being suggested is just what needs to be done, BJJ. I don't know your beliefs or your feelings on this matter; but you need to do something that will honor the dead. These individuals need to be recognized and need to be able to reconcile what was done to their final resting place.
