Moongrump?

Now who is being childish? This is supposed to be a forum concerning real life experiences with ghosts, not a forum for folks' developing one's fictional stories.

Get over yourself.

Moongrump is at it again! Now he's after a charming story that meant no harm to anyone. Why Moongrump? Why are you so angry? Can't we just let good stories be? I think you would be more caring toward another old dude. You seem to be pretty old and grumpy yourself. I'm suprised you aren't talking about cold iron in this case. There are fairy horses. Moongrump, please leave us alone.

You're right that is a lot of detail. And all that over a stray horse. You don't have to be a horse whisperer to be aware that horses are skittish around ANYTHING out of the ordinary.

as soon as I noticed the name old_dude I knew I was in for a great story and boy was I right 😁

As per normal great background information to help the reader get the feel of the area, a few laughs with in the story, (feel sorry for the big ladys first horse but was so funny to imagin)
And then the gripping intense part of the story~ the sighting of the ghost horse!

And to top it all off more sightings as you have gotten older and the local stories backing up the experience!

Fantastic! Loved it!
(doing best oliver twist impresion) please sir can we have some more? 😆
Old_dude your stories should be printed!

old_dude,
I read this last night, but could not comment until today. You are so right about the sadness, it somehow stays with you even when you're just reading about it.
I agree with Baccha, there's got to be something more to it. It's been there for so long, and it was already a legend by the time you first saw it. It makes me want to go see it, just to see if I can.
Thank you again for the wonderful way you tell us about your experience. So far I've run the gamut of emotions, and that is saying alot.
But you are so right about the sadness attached to the horse. I'm still feeling it.

Jav ❤

Excellent story... Have you thought about going back to get a picture of it? I would love to see that horse. It sounds beautiful and amazing, as well as a bit sad. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Ghost Horse! Ghost Horse! Ghost Horse! I love this story! What an interesting ghost to have trotting around! There has to be a story behind this horse. If it fills you with sorrow and has quite a profound affect on other horses. There must be more to it than meets the eye. I think it has something to do with that ranch you used to go to. They seemed to know more about it than they let on. What a great story and mystery! Thanks again!

Makes me want to do an artist rendering of the horse. The way you described it in your stories kind of attached to me.:)

You really should publish these stories and sell them in booklets for fans of local lore! You're very good at telling your stories.
